Burger King continues to make its own definition of what have it your way means. Yes you read that right. Since the 1970s you could order your whopper with extra mayonnaise cut in half. Due to internal reasons not really know it seems the company changed its policy based on my first inquiry because of an employee injury. Their insurance companies threaten increased insurance cost if the practice of cutting was not stopped. There solution was to offer a knife to customers to cut there own. I suggested they try to find a piece of equipment which could cut it safely. Making it an employee and customer win situation. I guess they forgot who holds them in business. After two years from my direct complaint. They continued the practice and advertising. After my second inquiry thru the Better Business Bureau why they continue to advertise E2809C Have it your way and they had made no changes to meet their advertising slogan. Their written response to me was “Have it your way means the addition or deletion of condiments on their products. Of course we knew that is what “Have it your way” means, Right? To further insult me they included a free Whooper card redeemable at any Burger King with the words on the bottom of the card. “Have It your Way”. I say to Burger King either give it to us our way as it has been the tradition of Burger King for years or stop using the slogan with a twisted meaning to suite your needs.

I you seriously complaining about having to cut your own sandwich?  I like how far people take the "have it your way" slogan.  Would you like them to chew it up and spit it in your mouth for you to?

Last 041908 at around 6:50pm me and my family went to Burger King and puchased a whopper combo and onion rings. The Burger was fine and the price was reasonable. The cost of my order was $12.31. I gave the cashier at the drive thru $22.13 expecting a change of $10.00. The cashier initially gave us the drinks and later the rest of our order. The cashier was a little bit  busy. I drove out of the area. A few yards I realize that the cashier didn't gave back my change so I called. The cashier at Drive Thru at 333 (#07863)
Keahole st. Hawaii forgot to give the change to me. But when I called he said that he gave the change to me and never took time to balance his cash or did something to verify his cash. I was with my wife and she also said that only the food was handed over to us and I knew for a fact that he didn't. I hope there are still employees in your store that we trust not only in the quality of food but also in servicing customers.

Complaining about having to cut your own sandwhich is possibly the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard in my life.  Who cuts a burger in half anyway?  And how much free time do you have on your hands to file a complaint about this through the Better Business Bureau?  "Have it your way" is a slogan, not a mission statement.  My God.

If you ask them for something [w/in reason], then they should accomadate your needs [w/in reason].

Some people can't cut the burger; some burgers are large and need to be cut...I've also seen plenty of people order their Whoppers cut in half just b/c that's how they prefer it.

Why would you post ignorant comments just b/c you are not familiar w/ the reasoning behind someone's request.

Burger King @ 226 Longs Pond Rd, Lexington, SC 29072. Spent 15 minutes tonight waiting at the drive thru with only one car in front of me. I got miss attitude at the window who tried to give me someone else's order. I had to ask for my drink and napkins before I left. All sandwiches and fries were cold when she handed me the bag. This place sucks...

I was in 1305 king highway, Brooklyn,NY location yesterday and the lady manager with the short hair was very rude. She was raising her voice and acting an ass.  I had asked for my whopper with no onions and she refused to give it to me the way i asked for. She had the employees make 100 Whoppers and keep them under the hot lights. Thios place is the worst BK in the world.  If she cant manage the place then show her the door.  Let her go work at McDonalds.

I took my sons and thier friend to Burgerking in georgetown,tx 8-7-09...i ordered 3 whopper jr's with no onion and mayo, well they were given to us with onion on 2 of them, mayo on one of them and no ketchup on one and no pickles on one of them...i did call to say we were disappointed and after alot of language we didnt understand was spoken to another employee we were told we could get credit for 3 more next time we came in...so i went back today 8-8-09, and was disrepected by the assistant general manager, he said i was a lier and didnt want me come back and shut the window on me in the drive thru after tossing my food bag out the window! im very serious...crazi behavior ...i was shocked and after calming down,i knew more needed to be done after i left so i called him to let him know that he was very unprofessional and  rude the training of employees needed to be done properly to make the food correct in the 1st place...i will do what i can to report such managing! but beware of this Burgerking!

I went to a new Burger King in Houston, just off Eldridge and 529 and ordered a salad.  What a rip off!!!!  $For 5.49,  I got a very small cereal bowl full of lettuce, 4 of the tiniest carrots ive ever seen, 4 cherry tomatoes with croutons and a couple pieces of chicken.  The price didn't include anything else.  Not even the drink.  You want to eat a good portioned size salad for reasonable $, go to McDonalds.

What I've noticed at Burger King where I go in San Antonio Tx, the workers' do NOT wear plastic gloves.  With the flu, and such going around, how am I suppose to know that the workers' wash their hands....OFTEN.  I don't.  Those preparing food, SHOULD WEAR GLOVES. Until they do, I will go to the 'other' franchise where their food preparers DO wear gloves.

You do realize that when you go to real restaurants the chefs don't wear gloves.
