Burger King continues to make its own definition of what have it your way means. Yes you read that right. Since the 1970s you could order your whopper with extra mayonnaise cut in half. Due to internal reasons not really know it seems the company changed its policy based on my first inquiry because of an employee injury. Their insurance companies threaten increased insurance cost if the practice of cutting was not stopped. There solution was to offer a knife to customers to cut there own. I suggested they try to find a piece of equipment which could cut it safely. Making it an employee and customer win situation. I guess they forgot who holds them in business. After two years from my direct complaint. They continued the practice and advertising. After my second inquiry thru the Better Business Bureau why they continue to advertise E2809C Have it your way and they had made no changes to meet their advertising slogan. Their written response to me was “Have it your way means the addition or deletion of condiments on their products. Of course we knew that is what “Have it your way” means, Right? To further insult me they included a free Whooper card redeemable at any Burger King with the words on the bottom of the card. “Have It your Way”. I say to Burger King either give it to us our way as it has been the tradition of Burger King for years or stop using the slogan with a twisted meaning to suite your needs.

    I order onion rings from the dollar menu and not one of them had an onion
    in it.   It was onion flavored batter.   What's up with that?

    went to burger king in clarksville, tn last week.  It was about 9:30 am.  Ordered a coffee and a burger with fries.  No way,  you can't have it your way there.  Not until about 10:30 am I was told.  I get up every morning about 5 am so i'm ready for lunch at 9 or 10.  They should pull their slogan if they don't mean it.  Went to burger king in Missouri about 6 months ago, same scenario.  They cooked me what I wanted no questions asked.

    ok i was working at the burger king on upper front street in binghamton ny  and i was was treated so unfairly  cuz of this one manger  named sara she the head manger and and this one lady named deb is apparently is this kitchen manger that no one has ever told me since ive started there  so  deb startes yelling at me because  i was helping out another employeee and  i yelled back at her  u see im not fifteen im twenty and wit bills to pay and  apt the i pay on my own and over there they are so sexist  i was put on 30 probation for defending my self and  deb gets nothing its was so unjustice  i want justice  cuz now i dont have a job  and what the heck im supposed to now  be  homeless thats was my only source of income  i feel i was cheated   i rlly bout to make this civill suit case cause one there sexist  and two im black i have there  number so u can tlk  but i really bout to take this the next if i cant find a job  there number is 607-723-9101 and my cell is 607-595-7436 by the way they have a real hard time picking up the fone

    My complaint tops them all. My son went to the burger king drive through yesterday. The cashier gave him his food but not his debit card. He pulled away and then realized she didn't give it to him. He immediately pulled back into the window and asked for his card. Cashier stated it was company to cut up the customers card if it was left. They had already cut it up and thrown it away. I spoke with the manager and his boss. All they will say is that it's unfortunate but it is company policy. I asked her if someone left their wallet would they go in it open it up, cut up credit cards, driver license and pictures? She stated yes they would. Now he didn't leave the card. She did not give it back to him. It's their fault but he shoulders the entire responsibility. Crap customer service. I'm not letting this go. Posting it everywhere I can find and writing corporate tomorrow.

      its company policy. let it go. doesn't even take that long to get a new card sent through so what's the problem?
