This is happening to me right now, I never subscribed to any magazine, my sister gets them from her job, so I don´t need to pay for them, and besides, who would be stupid enough to pay for a magazine now a days, just go to a Barnes & Nobles and read them for FREE!
I called #CondéNastTraveler since I decided to get their newsletter for work related purposes.I went online to find out why am I getting #vanityfair #allure #latina #glamour #bonappetit magazines sent to my house and apparently I'm getting them from a Third party company- Keystone Circulating Services 1800 967 3363 and when I called, there´s a survey that if you complete, you win a trip or a cruise, or if you are 65 and older, you get a free medical bracelet- WTF!!! I hit all the numbers possible to be able to talk to someone, NOPE, they just hang up on you... so, this is Bull and according to the article,  advertisers are paying to send these magazines for free, hoping that you would subscribe to them. So now I google these people and their number 732-750-4554 and apparently all their reps are busy and you are supposed to leave a message, really???
http://www.keystonecirculation.com/ their website is not working, awww.... how can that be??

I'm having the same issue. I received Vanity Fair and Ebony I believe. I can't get a hold of anyone from this Keystone circulating company. If they are free like you say I guess I have nothing to worry about. I better not receive a bill in the mail!

I was able to speak to a 'stern voiced' woman at this number: 800-967-3363.  Apparently she thinks she's threatening.  I don't care if the magazines are "free" (which they aren't), I don't want any of  them.

If they're sending you bills in the mail
or using the US Mail in a fraudulent scheme, file a mail fraud complaint with the US Postal Inspector.

You do not owe anyone for anything you didn't agree to order. If you did agree to some teaser offer, and they failed to disclose or change the terms, that is fraudulent and invalidates any alleged "contract" due to fraud.  Treat all fraudulent scams as the criminal activity that they are:  File fraud complaints with FTC, your state Attorney General, and the US Postal Inspector.

    Angry as Hell!
I started receiving magazines (Latina/Glamour/Architectural Digest/Vanity Fair) in February/2016 that I never ordered!  First I called the magazines directly and had them suspend the magazines.  I told them I never ordered their magazines and asked why they are sending them to me unsubscribed.  "Jodi" from Vanity Fair indicated that these were ordered in my name by Keystone Circulation Services.  She gave me their telephone number, 800-967-3363, and indicated that I would have to cancel the subscription directly through them.  Well easier said than done!!  I have contacted them by email, no reply back.  I have been dialing their telephone number for two days straight.  It's either busy or a recording comes on asking for your telephone number and they will return your call.  No response that way either!  I called Vanity Fair back and told them of the difficulty I am having trying to get through to this company and they should be ashamed of themselves for their connection to such a sham scam as this company is peddling off their magazine to unsuspecting senior citizens as myself.  The representative I was speaking to told me to hold on while she spoke to her supervisor.  When she came back on she said her supervisor called the number and was able to reach a live person and that I had to keep trying to get through because they are probably very busy.  I told her, "well if your supervisor got through and is aware of my anger, did she cancel the unsubscribed subscription!?"  She said, "no you'll have to do that yourself so just keep trying."  HAH!  That's a joke!  So I dialed another 15 times and FINALLY got someone!  I told her my problem as well as my anger and first the young woman said, "well you're not being billed for the magazines, they're complimentary."  I again reiterated that if I wanted a magazine I'd go buy one and I should not have to receive any magazines I don't read without my permission.  I told her, "I want this canceled and I want it to stop immediately!"  All she had to say was, "ok, it should take about 12 weeks" and with that she hung up!!  How's that for customer service.  I'm going to contact the Attorney General, FTC, and US Postal Inspector just as a previous poster indicated.  You don't treat old people like this!

Same issue.....getting about 12 magazines I would never subscribe to, Keystone doesn't answer.  I asked the mailman if I can just return to sender, he said no.  Any suggestions?  This is such a waste of paper, and I am not really a "green" conscience person.....but this is truly too much.

Same issue... started received a bunch of magazines (Conde Nast Traveler/Allure/Vanity Fair/Bon Apetit/Weight Watchers) in my mother's name (she passed away in May 2015). I called Conde Nast and was told the same thing that it was requested by a 3rd party Keystone 800-967-3363 which answers as Privacy Patrol and asks you to leave a message.  Shay at Conde was nice enough to cancel subscriptions for Conde Nast Traveler/Allure/Vanity Fair/Bon Apetit with the July issue but I was told to contact Keystone to see how these were being paid in case I had a refund coming? http://keystonecirculation.com/ is up and there is a place you can cancel subscriptions. Doing that now but have not been able to speak to anyone to see if these were paid.  Or will I be receiving a bill shortly?  What a scam and mostly on the magazine companies if they are out all these mailed issues.

I just received a Vanity Fair,  and as was stated,  it's something I'd never pick up myself. I was given the same phone number as these other posts said and advised the same thing by Vanity Fair to cancel with Keystone Circulation. This is unbelievably ridiculous. I sure hope I don't receive as many subscriptions as I've read in these posts. How annoying and peculiar this is. I'll be looking to report this as well.

It doesn't appear to be illegal..

to send magazines you didn't order.  It is illegal, however, to send a bill for them, or demand that you pay for them.

Problem is, replies to It doesn't appear to be illegal..
There ARE scam companies that start their scam by sending unordered magazines, then come along 6 months later and claim "you agreed, or you would have cancelled". Not only is nothing legally owed, but the amounts demanded are often inflated way above publishers prices.  They typically target people they think may be unsophisticated and fall for it, often young adults or the elderly, often women, people likely to pay when intimidated.

They may threaten "sending the account to collection" or "damaging your credit", although a collection agency that collected some scam accounts got nailed by FTC a few years ago with a multi-million dollar fine.  Mostly it's a game of "chicken", finding people they can safely get their hooks into, who can safely be intimidated into paying and "renewing subscriptions".

Safest response to any unordered merchandise is to dispute it on receipt, filing complaints to document it.

Was dealing with the same problem... just spoke to someone to have my name taken off their list. She stated that she had taken  me off the list, but I  will receive maybe two more issues because of the bar code labels or something.. but no more after that. (732) 750-4554

I was receiving BonApetit magazines to an address I haven't lived at for over 3 years (my grandmother lives there).  I finally was able to email BonApetit directly and they did cancel the subscription for me.  They also gave me the number to contact Keystone Circulation Service.  I have not called it as I really don't want to sit on the phone for hours trying to get ahold of someone now that I have confirmed that it's been cancelled.

This is what I received from a BonApetit representative.

As requested, we have canceled the delivery of your issues.
Any refund or payment questions must be made to the independent sales agency from which your subscription was ordered.
If you would like to contact Keystone Circulation Service directly, please call 800-967-3363.

The number above from Patricia was what Vanity Fair gave me and I was able to get through.  I sent Vanity Fair an email last month, but after getting the magazine this month and just called them directly and seems to work.  Mine had a name that did not match my address even!
