There are 3 different listings for the same item, one indicates the trailer is in Salina, KS, the second is located in Topeka, KS, the third is located in Wichita, KS. Run an internet search for eli68hrp@gmail.com or for used cargo trailers in www.rv.net open roads forum and you will find the nearly indentical letter they will send you when answering their add.

So glad i googled her name before going threw with anything. She is "selling" an RV with the same verbiage of divorced husband, moved out of state, will use ebay motors and is a flight attendant. 1,000 firm when they would nornally go for 5/6 grand. We shall wait an see what she tries to pull next. Thankful for google and weaning out the crooks.

I did some quick research on how eBay motors handles sales...they don’t do it like this. I then googled her email address and found this group. No accident history, original paint. It was my father's but unfortunately he can't use it anymore as he died 3 months ago. I sold almost all my father's stuff including the farm, I am not a farmer and it has to go. After I sold the farm the new owners didn't want to purchase the trailer as they didn't need it. If you decide to buy it, you'll receive all the papers, owner manual, a buy-sell contract signed by me. I have a low price ($1200), because I want to sell it in the next 7 days. I am in the US Army and my unit will be sent back oversea to replace and help the troops scheduled to come home this year.

I would like to come over and see it..... crickets........Sure wish I could meet "her" in person so I could explain why this these kinds of scams are unacceptable.

Dec 1, 2020. I go the same message for a $800 cargo trailer from "Pamila Wood". Wanted ebay cash cards.
Only scammers will ask you to buy gift cards to pay for a trailer or vehicle. Especially if they want you to take a picture of the numbers on the backs of the cards.

"She" is still working in 2021 trying to sell a trailer for $1000, 2015, bendron 7x16 enclosed cargo. Pictures and everything. She said EBay Motors requested me to get $1000 in EBay gift cards. I have the gift cards but I didn't send them to EBay Motors. Now I have $1000 in gift cards I can't use.
You can use them if you did not send the numbers (from the back of the cards) to the scammers. If you sent the numbers (especially if they asked you to take pictures of the cards and send them the pics), it's just like sending cash, and your money is gone.

I was just hit with this Scam, by jessicagardner70@gmail.com. Fortunately I noticed a few red flags before completing "the deal": 1. seller listed on a, near by, craigslist but when I contacted her informed be she had move to Omaha, after the divorce in which she got the trailer and the trailer was now in Ebay Motors warehouse. 2. Sale price was extremely low but supposedly had free delivery and free return after a 5 day inspection period. With a sale price of $1,000, the delivery and return from my location to Omaha would exceed the sale price. 3. I then got an invoice email, all dressed up to look like Ebay, but coming from a payment processor in Canada, instructing to buy Ebay gift cards at Walgreens, CVS, etc. to pay for the thing ... no mention of paypal, or credit card.
I did forward the last message from the "Seller", and the "Invoice" email to "spoof@ebay.com". I realize that Ebay, in reality, has no involvement in this scam, but they do have an interest in protecting their name and reputation and said they will analyze and follow up on the information, with an eye toward shutting down/blocking the offending sites.
