I have received these same calls for months...I have started documenting them. Hopefully these people get what they deserve!

    UTC Fire and Security bought G.E. Security Systems in the last couple of years.  I think G.E. Security Systems is still a part of UTC Fire and Security.   Corporate office in Conneticut is:

      i was contacted by a 1800 for a free ge home monitoring system they called back from a number that say american guard 727-807-7803 ask for all kinds of information even knew my sons name and that he lived with me, then say that they will call back to confirm an appointment, they never call back and they never show up. i ahve done the reverse look up the number belongs to a company called E Prime located in new port richey FL

    I just got one of these calls and I really like the introduction message when there is obviously city noise behind them as you can hear traffic and emergency vehicle sirens

    Upset With Calls
    I'm receiving these calls as well as being on the Do not call list and I have filed 12+ complaints so far to the FCC. This fraud company curses me and hangs up on me each time I tell them not to call.

    I don't understand how if your on the do not call list they are still able to call you using a different number each time.

    They told me to F -shut up ....

    I'm tired of this nonsense and anyway to get rid of this would be apprciated!

    I feign interest, wait until the screener operator puts me through to the technician, then let him drone on for a bit while I make myself some tea and glance at the newspaper, while periodically responding to his questions in a plausible way (this takes about 1/10th of a brain).  When we get to scheduling the appt for the installation person, I have him go through a few time slots while I bring YouTube up my computer.  As we confirm that time, I launch Brain Eno's "Baby's on Fire" at full volume.  
    May not work but it is satisfying to picture his face.  And it's a hot tune.

    I've been getting these calls multiple times a day now for about a week and a half.
    I called GE who were tight-lipped but gave me the number of Interlogix who now owns the right to use the trademark "GE Home Security" after GE sold the division to UTC.

    Their number is 855-2868889. I called them and button-mashed until I was transferred to someone CELL PHONE. I complained to him and he expressed frustration with the telemarketers sullying their name. He took my info and the number these telemarketers were calling from and told me he'd send it up to his legal team.

    Next time you get one of these calls, why not do the same thing I did? I'm sure Interlogix will be sick of receiving calls from us to their cellphones and maybe will start to have some "empathy" for our situation. Oh, and obviously never buy another GE product ever again. :-D

      I just called that interlogix number (855) 286-8889 and got india, I couldn't even understand him....and he couldn't understand me. This was after multiple tries. What a mess. Any other ideas to get this ti stop. I have children deployed so I answer numbers that I don't recognize.  It's realky getting to be a problem.

    I have been getting these calls for MONTHS. I have blocked countless numbers, and talked to countless representatives, and the calls keep coming. I finally googled it and found this! Thank god I'm not the only one. I called United Technologies. They gave me the number for someone on their legal team and I left a message. I have yet to receive a call back.

    Frustrated, I feel your pain.  I have at least 2 different numbers for this same telemarketer.   He calls so often we are on a first name basis; his is Jason (I wonder, does he wear a hockey mask??)   Lately, when the number pops up, I answer with "Good (morning/afternoon/evening) Jason, how's everything at GE Security?"   At which point, they hang up without speaking.   File a complaint with the FCC for every call I get, even if it is 3 or more in 1 day, in the hopes that if I bury them in enough complaints the FCC will be forced to take action.

      I gat a call from Jason 8-10 times a day from local numbers, FL numbers, CA numbers, from all over... I have received the calls from months. I am at a loss of what to do. Verizon only allows me to block 10 numbers.

    GE Security, USA Security, Honeywell Security are all names used by USA Security Promotions LLC a North Carolina Corporation. The registered agent for the corporation is also an attorney by the name of Robert B Newkirk III in Cornelius NC.
    I am sure he would personally love to hear all these complaints on his office phone 704-892-5898 or fax 704-892-5633. Again that is Robert B Newkirk III registered agent for USA Security Promotions LLC in Cornelius North Carolina. Since he is the registered agent for the LLC as listed on the states corporation page , forward your complaints directly to his office. As of the date of this post, the fax was active and phone had a recording stating you reached the law office of Robert B Newkirk. Do your own research on google and see for your self. It's all public info if you know where to look. Good luck and happy complaining!

      I just spoke with this gentleman (Mr. Newkirk) and, while sympathetic, he has little to do with the real problem, GE Security.  He is a lawyer who handled an administrative matter for a company by that name, but has learned the name has been pirated by some unscrupulous telemarketer operating on behalf of an unrelated vendor.  I like the revenge suggestion of a couple others.  Make an appointment then stand them up, or give them a fictitious address.  He seemed sincere and would be helpful if he could but doesn't know where to start either.

        I spoke with this [***] today. He immediately knew I had a telemarketing issue when I mentioned ge home security.  I asked how,... he said he is aware that is the issue when he hears that name. I asked how often he hears that name. He responded by asking me "what name?". I said, ge home security systems,.... he replied by claiming he has never heard that compay name in his office,.... WTF???? I pointed out that he had just contradicted himself and he began to stutter,.... this idiot 2 bit ambulance chaser is obviously involved in some direct way,.... and another point of interest, .... after assuring him he would have legal problems if I got another call from ge home security and hanging up on him,... I realized HIS VOICE IS STRANGELY IDENTICAL TO THE RECORDED VOICE YOU HEAR WHEN THESE CON ARTIST FIRST CALL YOU,... another note of interest, ... after recieving a dozen calls a day from these low lifes and then speaking with this no talent trash, Mr newkirk,... the calls have strangely STOPPED,....

    I keep getting these alarm system calls and when I try to tell the I don't want to receive thier calls they just hang up on me. When I call the numbers back they either come up as disconnected or go to an option to stop receiving calls which I always press but still receive calls from the same bunch of numbers! It's very frustrating that I can't get them to stop calling me! I did call that Robert new kirks the third but got voice mail I'm just going to keep calling him and harrasing him like his company is doing to me! Maybe I'll have some luck if not I will get the satisfaction of driving him nuts for awhile!

    Like all of the above, I've been getting the nuisance calls 2 to 3 times every week for about 3 months. It started a couple of weeks after I contacted SimplySafe to purchase the self install security system to replace my other system that was 17 years old and they haven't made parts for it in quite a while. Where I'm not going to judge their system because my home hasn't been broken into, I find it VERY ODD that a security company telemarketer would be calling so shortly after the purchase. The automated call must have very good programming to answer the questions I put to it. Finally, it said that there was a user behind the call but using his PC to communicate instead of a phone. (I can only guess it's something like Skype.) And just like the other that eventually got a human on the line, they said that they would remove my phone number from the list. (Yeah, right. Sure you will.)

    Here are the numbers that they called me from - 415.265.4021, 720.538.7631, 626.699.4567, 305.587.2062, 206.693.2459. That's as far as my phone call history goes. Never the same number twice in a row so that I can block it.

    I like the idea to call this Robert Newkirk several times to let him know how it feels. It's a shame that we all are so far spread in when we reply. If we all call him one time per day for 5 straight days, then maybe he would do something. Ah well. Wishful thinking. If I do get taken off the list, I'll be back and let every one know how I did it. But somehow I think it'll be in that famous black hole of them "getting around to it" or them just paying lip service to you to get off their case.  Good Luck!
