They called here from 1-800-708-357-0914... And their Caller I.D. comes through as: V201122406000273
These idiots have called a few times. They ask for an owner of the house by name... a person who died 15 years ago! Then proceed reading their scripted pitch, trying to convince you the alarm system in your home is obsolete. But they'll install a new GE system for free! When I asked how they know about my alarm system this clown says they originally installed it. That's weird... there's never been an alarm system in this house! That's when they hang up!

Got a call from GE Security System earlier today. Caller stated that there was something wrong with my GE Security System. Told caller I had no such system and hung up. If this persists will call the 855-286-8889 number referenced earlier.

I talk with them and sound interested. Last time I kept them on the phone 12 minutes. I got bored and told them that I was wasting their time. That gets them really pissed off. i told them next time I would double the time before I gave the big reveal

I just received a call telling me I had a home system for the last 3 years, and said yes. Obviously they know....the operator barely spoke english. I asked what country are they in -- she said GE Land -- okay when did Ge get their own land?????

I've had several calls such as everyone has described. My calls are on my land line which I have only for emergency call out purposes. To solve my problem I am doing two things# 1putting caller id on the line and a message machine. Most of the time if you have a machine they will hand up. #2 I am turning the volume to the phone off. I can check the calls and determine who and where they are coming from and respond to whichever I wish. I use my cell phone for all my other business. I realize this is not practical for everyone but it's worked for me.

My mother has been receiving these calls, we usually don't answer random numbers and this was our exception. When she detects a salesman, telemarketer or scammer she always passes me the phone and I respond very sternly and aggressively. The representative said he was with GE home security, and offered me a free system in exchange for putting a sign on our lawn. He would not give me any more information until I told him that I did not have a current system and was interested in the offer, and then he transferred me to an equally shady salesperson whom he referred to as a security expert. I asked him what his qualifications are as a security expert, who he worked for specifically, and why the only questions that were asked previously seemed suspicious, and he began with, "All you need is to own your home.." And I responded with, "Not my qualifications, YOUR qualifications-" at this point he cut me off to say, "Well you're the one doing all the talking!" A salesperson who is interested in the sale would have no problem telling you any of these things. He hung up on me when I continued asking questions. The number that called me was listed as being from New York City, New York and is (347)560-5761 I hope together we can end this suspicious harassment.

I'm also a victim of this illegal campaign :-( All I can recommend is to add each number to your auto-block list on your cell phone as soon as you learn about it. A new number will call every month or so, and should also be added.

The phone number for the parent company that owns GE Home Security telemarketing scam is 860-728-7000, I call them every time the telemarketers call me. I talk to the receptionist and leave voicemails for people on their system.

This comment is not for helpful purposes but only to share my most recent experience with them but I am so sick of getting calls from them!
As I answered the phone, I put on a British accent (idk why), and acted SO excited about the offer ("You would do that for me?!") but kept going back and forth as to whether or not I was actually a homeowner and they were having a difficult time trying to figure it out and then when I gave them some hint that I might be somewhat homeless they told me to have a nice day and I told them to go [***] themselves. Made me feel better.

Todd from GE Home Security calls everyday. Its computer generated. Every day, I block a different phone number that is used to call me. I wouldn't buy a product from GE ever!!! This telemarketing tactic is pure harassment. Today's phone call came from 904-712-4043

Same problem, robo call 4 or 5 a day for last 3 weeks, can't seem to make it stop.  I called the phone numbers listed on this blog from 2013, was referred to an answering service that said I had to go to a web page and then call still another number for help.  I left a message, but it seems like I have to do more work and it is a problem I did not ask for.

Yeah, once you have answered you are a goner. Your a confirmed live person/victim. I had to risk answering an unknown number today due to a medical issue. I suppose the asshats will call me a hundred times before I cycle off their live body list.

I've been called from NUMEROUS numbers claiming they are from GE Home Security.  All in my area code a 251 area code.  Every time I block one, another person calls from yet another phone number with my area code.  This is such a MAJOR PIA, as I have been expecting a call from someone else for days now.

I have been getting DAILY calls, MULTIPLE times a day from these [***].  Generally, they say nothing -- they just literally call and when I answer it says it is GE security and then I hear a click and it hangs up.  How do I stop this madness?

I'm a victim of this as well. They morphed from GE home security to American home security.
i signup with www.donotcall.gov and also install an app called "Should i Answer" which is a call blocker app with community feed numbers/ratings. but these guys have new number every other day or something. getting called 4-5x a day , especially @ 5-6-7 am is not fun for me.

I've been getting 2 a days for a week from a 724 number in pennsylvania. I've called and was directed to an "Abby Moore" and got her voicemail. THe number I called was United Technologies’ phone number is 860-728-7000. Abby Moore had a voicemailn setup with some instructions but I couldn't keep up and couldn't repeat. It did offer this number - 855-286-8889 opt 1.

This is nuts. 2 calls every day for over a week. Always when i'm working.
