I paid $32 to sign up for lifetime membership to legally download music at MusicForMembers.com.

After the registration I was asked to download an install their program. Upon running it I discovered that this program is Limewire. They have no mention of this on their website, and I could download limewire for free if I wanted to.

I went to see if they already charged my credit card and saw that they charged me $47 instead of $32 ($15 extra)! I wrote to them requesting my money back but received no reply. I want to cancel my account as soon as possible with this fraud company but don't know how. Any suggestions?

    Download free Limewire, I put as many songs on my MP3 player as I can before
    I lose the turbo charge, then remove Limewire from your computer, no problems this way, good luck.

    I decided to use Limewire as i was assured it was a free downloading programme. firstly i was told i had to text a number to get the code which i did and then was told to repeat this process costing £1.50 per text. aftter successfully doing this and spending £3 (wastefully) it did not work! how can i get my money back? its ridiculous!

    I too joined the group and got ripped off my daughter was never able to get the service to work! I recommend others dissatisifed to contact their Attorney General offices in their states to see if a class action lawsuit can be developed, I also recommend contacting the Federal Trade Commission. I did find that the company may be based in Montreal Canada to further escape government action.

    I clicked on the upgrade to Limewire pro (ive been a user for a couple of years) now it wont launch. I tried to email support but it wont recognise my email address eventough they sent me the upgrade to it!!, i have no way of contacting them, I have no limewire and no way to tell them the problem..its a joke, very pissed off. (I tried to call their no.isted on forum but my telephone service doesnt include international calls..its so frustrating as email is my only option)

    Man, I wish i would have found this website far sooner than i did. If only I had 20/20 hindsite, i would have never made the purchase. Please inform as many people as possible to NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING THAT USES MEMBERLOG.NET!!! I was downoading a different downloader than limewire, I payed for a lifetime subscription, and they added in a NETSPYPROTECTOR without my knowledge. Neither the downloader i paid for, nor the spyware program that i paid for actually work. This is entirely fraudulent and i hope others dont make the same mistake i did. I couldnt contact them to get my money back either. I couldnt get a lifetime use out of a program that doesnt have any life to start with.

    I renewed my membership with limewire for $34.95 for a lifetime membership. It turns out to be membership and not limewire. I got a bill from membership for $71.00.  I  did not order the things that are extra. I feel like this is a scam and I want my money back..cancel the subscription totally. I am asking my credit card for help on this too.

    I have been done like a dogs breakfast as well, my complaint is like all the others, credit card charged more than what I thought I had agreed to.
    Once transaction went through website didnt work as I anticipated. Regret
    the whole ordeal

    I want a direct/live person to vent on!!!! I did not get the download but did finally talk to someone in Germany??? who gave me the spill that I had to contact the provider,etc. HOW do I go about finding the info and/or numbers for this "provider"?????? I am trying to find out a link to FRAUD to provide them with this info.

    I downloaded the 360 share pro thinking that it was a good deal to download music and movies..
    turns out it's actually limewire! I've been trying to find a way to cancel my membership. I started a trial for $2.00 but i'm afraid that they'll keep charging me money after my trial expires. If anyone knows how to cancel the membership can you let me know?

    Im in the same boat guys this bs...will fall down I purchase a subscription for $18.00 and I was charged $48.95 what a abuse I hope we can put a stop to musicformembers.com bunch of crooks.

    I purchased the pro-limewire.  Have spend hours trying to get program to open up, carefully following all instructions and even interacting with customer service.  This program won't open.  Then I see you can download the same program for free.  No reply to my request for refund.  What a scam.

    I did the same thing a $29 bill turned to $54 and no way to back out I didn't even sign their agreement. Report to better buis is probable a waste of time, this CO., could be anywhere in the world
