I paid $32 to sign up for lifetime membership to legally download music at MusicForMembers.com.

After the registration I was asked to download an install their program. Upon running it I discovered that this program is Limewire. They have no mention of this on their website, and I could download limewire for free if I wanted to.

I went to see if they already charged my credit card and saw that they charged me $47 instead of $32 ($15 extra)! I wrote to them requesting my money back but received no reply. I want to cancel my account as soon as possible with this fraud company but don't know how. Any suggestions?

    I also purcased a so called oneoff payment which was advertised at £29
    Only to find out they had charged me a futher £21 a total of £ 50 ...
    For
    absolutley nothing...Like i imagine the people above this was a considered purchase for me ...But my music is very lmportant to me I have always paid good money for to sites like 7 dig8tal, emusic ect,
    Idont plan to let go of this matter easly and will be happy to update you guys above.....    If nothing else IT IS BEING EXPOSED  Ava
    NBit was also advertised under limewire and then i was tpldto sign in thru musicformembers....

    Hi Beth,I paid for a lifetime membership in 2006. I had uninstalled and reinstalled at least 4 times maybe more sincethen most recently was March 2011. Got a new Pc. at first i had trouble restalling it but kept trying and researching how to do it.I had to have all the original order # password,username.etc. I finally got it and am still able to use it. try going to Download Zone/members area/v3/.com/downloads install pro.exe. or try http://www.TheMusicMembersArea.com/loginv2.asp.Hope this helps.
