This company has w/o authorization deposited a loan and states to call them back within 3 days if I do not want loan and provides a number where they never answer and in which phone call are not returned.

    This man called me yesterday saying that they was calling to collect money because it the state of MD its check fraud and that they was talking me to court for writing a bad check to this company SQG Processing for a loan of $200 and that I wrote them a check for $350. I don't remember talking out the loan with this company.

      Same thing happened to me. A loan from 2008?? The woman was beligerant and started yelling at me. Threatened to call my boss. Called my parents and brother. How did they get their numbers? What a scam. A real collection agency notifies you by mail and does not yell at you. They called me at work every 19 seconds and hung up...real professional.  Anyone have the same thing happen??

        Same here. Got a call from a process server. They were going to serve me with papers from SGQ Processing for a loan in 2007. I was going to be hauled to court for check fraud and breach of contract for 1300 bucks. Called the Litigation company that the process server was working for and talked to the lady there. I settled over the phone for a much lesser amount. I cannot believe that....

      Ask them for the name of the bank the funds where deposited in then check that account to see if money was deposited in to that account if not then you have sumbody using your info to take out loans so you need to be checking with you credit reporting agency to put a block on your social...

    Hi, I received a collection call stating that I have an oustanding loan with SGQ from 2008.  They wanted me to state the last four numbers of Social Security Number which did not match.  They informed that I owe them $1,000.  I am going to obtain a lawyer before this goes any further

    I received a call from Landmark Legal Support. They are threatening to have me picked and processed on this loan. They will not tell me any information. They say they cant give out addresses or anything of that nature, im very skeptical about giving out my payment information. Then when they call its unknown numbers. Im so lost? Help me?

      If they can't provide anyting in writing either by mail or email then i wouldn't worry. I would suggest recording the conversation so if they say they can't give you anyting in writing then they are in violation.. Keep in mind though if they have sent doc's to the last know address and can verify they did and you took out the loan but didn't update you address with the original creditor then you may be in for a ride because they have done with the states require they do by sending documents to the last known address. Most people are stuck on rules from years ago where if you ask for docs the agency has to send them but states have caught on to that because people ask for docs knowing the agencies have to wait 30 days b4 they can pursue further activities so every agencies tht get the file consumers ask for docs to be sent until the file has reached statue of limits..

    I have received calls from 3 different arbitration firms about this company. One of which I paid and it was $550 then I get a call from someone else about the same company. I told her to send me papers because I had already paid this and it was for a $200 loan, which I think $550 is outrageous but I never heard from her again.  Then yesterday I received a call from another company stating that I was going to be served with paper Tuesday but the rep told me Monday and he have me a different amount and was offering me to half off and he would waive the $25 processing fee and I am not sure what to do

      Do you have the docs from the company that you paid because without documentation showing you paid it even if you where to go to court you can't prove you paid... Let's just say you  have bank statements, it would just prove that you made payments towards the bal not showing it had been paid in full unless that $550 was the total bal and not a settlement.. The interest rate on these loans are ridiculous...

    This is really strange that I'm reading all these complaints.  I'm going tthru the same thing rite now.  It started about 4 mos ago.  Please don't fall for this...it's a SCAM!!!

      Be careful how you use the word scam because if someone is actually arrested or taken to court they can sue you for your advise if they can prove it was your advise that lead them to not pay.... If you borrowed money and didn't pay it back then its not the company that is a scam its the individual that took out a fraudulent loan with no intentions to pay it back thatz the scam... Seems like every time sumbody calls sumbody about one of these loans they a scam until they end up in court or behind bars for these loans... My suggestion is to try and call the company and pay it and if you not able to get thru and can show record tht you tried then pay one of these 3rd party agencies so long as they can send u docs showing that you paid it and if they havent sent you those docs within 10 business days then tell your bank you need to have the funds charged back to your account because you gave the company 10 days to get you a paid and close letter.  keep the letter and if anybody else call you then send them a copy of the letters...

      Don't stress, most of these are scams! I had one call me from a company called consolidated management which has nothing to do with payday loans and also, they cannot get you for fraud on a payday loan. That's a civil matter if the loan was legit.

        Wrong they can persue you in most states for the returned item from the bank and even a civil matter can hurt you in the long run because hey gonna hit you with attorney fees, court cost, processing fee, etc and then go for wage garnishment.. You can sit and tink that ignoring it is the answer its like playing russian roulette you might end up with the wrong agency and they will pursue you... If you took out the money just make arrangements to pay them back.. Anybody that tells you anyting different is a professional thief that just haven't been caught yet but at the rate they are going they gonna hit that lucky card... So long as u get a company that will give you documents to  prove you pay it then take care of it.. if you pay it and didn't get your docs to prove that it's been paid and closed then speak with your bank about charging it back after 10 business days..

    So I am getting calls from a guy named John from J and P processing saying he is collecting for SGQ and I owe them $1500 but will settle for $610...... Is this a scam????

    It's a major scam!! They are taking people money left & right! I got a call too very unprofessional! Unless, you get papers in the mail don't fall for it & get a lawyer before paying any money!!!!

    I am getting a call saying that I took out a loan in 2009 for 300 dollars...n I have to pay them 1042 dollars. That they r going to take me to court for two felonies....the loan company suppose to be SGQ PROCESSING... The number us 302-495-9033...his name is JOE WARD....when I say that I have no knowledge of this n start asking questions he started treating me n saying he was not my babysitter.... Wow

      I just got a call from the same number you did. Except his name is now Michael Ward!!! Something about false bank records for driver revocation in a state I don't live in.

    I am experiencing the same thing.  What concerns me is they have all of my information.  Has anyone talked to an attorney?  What legal rights do we have to stop the scam especially when they cannot/will not provide proof but continue to make demands and threats.
