They keep calling my phone to tell me that I need to act now on my credit card.  They gave me the option to "press 1 to speak to an operator" and when I did, I asked her why they are calling my phone.  (Prepaid, btw, so it is costing me $$$$$$$).  Yikes! She just hung up on me.  Now I'm upset.

I dialed the number back and it cannot be reached.

So.... I looked up the number in 411.com, found out they are going through Hawaiin Telecom.  (Those are the next people I am calling, along with the BBB.)

This number started showing up in early April.  May be connected with other complaints against "Card Services", some of which indicated a Florida-based call center.

Let us know what you find out from Hawaian Telecom.

As you no doubt already concluded, they are running a scam, hiding their identities while using deception to get account numbers steal their money.  Fraud.

    https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/8082507460

"Today, April 28th, I was home when they called and said that they could reduce the rate on my Visa and Mastercard.

The woman said that she was from Card Services and worked for Visa and Mastercard [FALSE, it is common for con men to steal the legitimacy of other companies] and that they would contact the banks my cards were issued from to get lower rates for me.

She said that this was a promotion of Visa to get rates lowered for qualified cardholders [FALSE].

She then asked for information on my cards and transfered me to a man, who the woman said was a financial advisor [yeh, right].

She said that they had my information [FALSE, if they already had it they would probably be fishing for "yes" responses to claim you signed up, not still asking for it.] because their company processed all [So THEY are the ones who process all those payments!] credit card payments [FALSE] and knew that I paid on time [FALSE, they have no such information].

The man was argumentative when I asked him for information [Great "sales" tactic, but common with scams.  They are aiming at the least sophisticated consumers].

He gave me the website: creditcardservices.org [pretending to be a "non-profit"] to checkout.  [Sounds like they are trying to appear to be like a "CCCS"]

It came up and then immediately went to another site [more deception].  The man became annoyed when I said this and asked for more information.

He wanted $29.95 as an ACH debit from my account {that would be a checking account, and harder to dispute for fraud if you give your account number than if it were a credit card number] to send me a form to complete [$29.95 just to send a form?  They want your money first, all based on verbal statements with nothing in print.] and return to them to send to my credit card companies to get my rate lowered.  [Yeah, the credit card companies are going to loweer your rates because they send a form.  Sure.]

When I kept asking questions, he hung up after saying I obviously was declining their services.  Note:  When she called back the name and number showing were mine. [Oops!  spoofing caller id, but they can't even get that right.]"

I have been having the same problem for well over a year now.  They literally call me every single day.  The caller ID always shows the name of a state.  I have asked to be removed from their list several times, all they do is hang up on me.  I have pressed "2" to be removed but it does not take me off their list.  I have filled out a complaint with the Texas Attorney Generals Office but the calls keep coming.
I cannot imagine how a company/criminal syndicate/whatever they are can stay open by doing this.  They are wasting their time calling me but they just keep right on doing it.

I just got a call at 6:34 am it's February 13th 2018, and I asked why they keep calling 5th call in 2 days, and he started talking about screwing my mother (RIP 1986) and How I could go F myself. I signed up for the do not call list in California, but yet this company continues to call me? WTF is this about?

"Card Services" has been calling me every few days for over a year.   I have submitted complaints on the Federal Do Not Call List website, but I suspect the number that comes up on caller I.D. is a fake "spoofed" number.    I wish they would get these [***].   When you speak to someone and tell them to stop calling they immediately hang up.

They do the same here.  It starts out w/a recording.  This is credit card services, to lower your credit card rates, you have an outstanding blah, blah, blah. (Which I have no issues w/my credit card)
Press one to speak to a representative, press 2 to be removed.  Well when pressing 2, you hear nothing but a hang up. Then they call you again in a few days.  So annoying.  It didn't work.

So I get the call again, and I said I'll press 1, this time for a live person and to remove myself  with a live person.  Well, as soon as I've asked the guy can you remove me kindly.  He just hangs up rudely, this  always happens.

I know you can sue telemarketers here is the link on how to sue telemarketers like them:  http://www.whycall.me/info/telemarketerssued.php

But I can't seem to get the number there calling from to make the steps (I don't have caller ID.)  However, I hope they get caught and be punished, they deserve it.  They are rude, mean and they bother me with unwanted calls while I am busy, in the morning etc...

I have caller id and the number that just showed up on my phone is 415-825-6637.  I tried to call it back, but when the automated voice tried to connect, all the representatives were busy.  I have had the same experience you have, and I am becoming severely annoyed.  I'm going to report this phone number to the federal dnc registry.

I have experienced the same thing.  However, the calls seem to come from different area codes and numbers each time.  Same recorded message, same results if Iask for an address or any other information.

Same thing here.  They keep calling  so I finally decided to press 1 and see what they had to say. The lady said I has to "qualify" with credit card interest rate over 10% & owe over $3000.  She said they represented Chase, Bank of America, etc. She wanted to know if I qualified and wanted to know if I wanted to take advantage of their service. I was certainly not going to give any personal info but asked if they would mail the information for my review. She said they had mailed it 45 days ago. (Sure!)  I explained that I did not receive it and just continued to ask nicely for them to mail info every time she tried to push for information.  She just kept pushing but when I didn't  buy into her rehearsed line, she just hung up on me.  LOL
        The number was 616-613-2100.

I got a call from these people with "lower interest rates" for the third time today, before noon. They call every day, using different numbers. I have pressed one on at least a dozen occasions in the past, and informed the "live" telemarketer who answers that we are on the Do Not Call List, and they are not allowed to call our phone numbers at home. In the past the telemarketer said "I can call any number I want to, try to stop me".
Today the girl called me the "B" word, and said "you sound like you have a "D" in your mouth. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she told me "he doesn't want to talk to you", and continued to call me names, make obscene remarks to me, and would not hang the phone up. She said she will call back any time she wants to. I told her that it is against the law for them to call our number, and I am reporting them. She called me "stupid", and "trash", and asked me if my husband forgot to "F" me this morning and beat the "sh*t" out of me before I answered the phone. I kept asking her for her supervisor, and she continued with her offensive remarks and name calling.
I have reported this company to the FCC, the Better Business Bureau, and the State Attorney Generals Office.
When you ask what the name of their company is, they always say "Client Services". The phone number changes all the time.

If nothing is done to stop these harassing and offensive phone calls, I am going to contact the investigative teams at TV network news and suggest that they need to find out who these offensive telemarketers are.

Just had a very similar experience to the one posted by Cheyenee.  Card Services calls multiple numbers in our house that are on both the state and the national do not call registries.  I have filed multiple complaints and gotten no results.  Today, they laughed at me, told me their numbers were untraceable, they were aware that they had multiple complaints filed against them but that there was nothing any agencies could do.  They said they could call anytime they wanted. They couldn't answer me when I asked why they were only collecting private financial information over the phone and had not proof of who they were.  I said "so you are committing fraud, stealing".  The man, Chris, just went off blabbering.  I told him it was his time, his money, put the phone down and walked away.  I think the idea of calling some of the TV news stations consumer fraud divisions would help to get law enforcement on their butts.  Once these guys are identified, we can sue for up to $11,000. per call (so keep a log of every time they call and file a complaint each time).

Yes, we need to get some media attention on these people who call and harrass regarding the Card services.  They have been calling me every day for several years. No one is doing anything about it.

I have been getting call from 800-395-2274 for AT LEAST two months.  I let this call to go my fax machine -- too bad the computer doesn't have an ear.  Finally called the number back to 'speak to' someone to complain. Of course, the first thing I am prompted to do is "enter the last 4 numbers of your credit card."

HOW DO WE STOP THIS CRAP?
