Mr. David Banks called yesterday from 876-506-6012 (a Jamaica landline according to the reverse phone lookup) stating that I had won $2.5 million and a bonus prize of a new Mercedes Benz auto.  My prizes were scheduled to be delivered at 9am on 5/18/12 to my residence and he couldn't wait to see my happy expression when they get here. Mr Banks kept calling all day and into the evening with "last minute arrangements" for the delivery team and at about 4:30.. he explained that all I had to do was to go to WalMart, Walgreens or CVS and acquire a $499 MoneyPack Reload, give him the 14 digit number on the back of the card.  I told them that I would go get the card, but that I didn't get off work until 7:00pm and please could they call back at about 8:00pm for the numbers. He said of course (in his best Jamaican accent) and that he would call back then.  Within the time from 4:30-7:00pm, Mr Banks called another 4 or 5 times to ask what color car I wanted - choice between White, Red and Blue.... did I think I could get off work earlier since I was going to be wealthy tomorrow... what color interior in the car... just wanted to touch base & make sure I was going to be able to make it to get the card because he was "trusting" me etc...  He called back at 8:00pm and I told him that I was unable to get the card because they were out, but that I would be able to do so early in the morning and be back home before 9:00am to receive my prizes.  He started calling early this morning but of course I didn't answer because I was "on the road" getting the card... I finally answered about 9:00am  - "my car didn't start so I had to send a friend to get it for me and she didn't have a cell phone so I didn't know what time she would be back"  which bought me more time to think up more to tell him.  I finally got "angry" with him early afternoon and told him I wasn't going to give him any numbers until they were sitting in my driveway with my new car and my $2.5 million because they were really late and I said that it was probably a scam anyway.  So he had a "Mr Shawn" call me from Las Vegas and assure me that everything was up and up and Mr. Shawn sent me a bunch of paperwork that made everything look really legitimate and asked me to give him part of the numbers and give the rest of them to the delivery team when they got here with my prizes. He called 5 times within 10 minutes after he sent the paperwork and so I told him that my dog had gotten hit and would he please call me back in 30 minutes.  I read over all the paperwork and didn't answer the about 20 times he called in between the 30 minutes time slot and then about 10 minutes ago I gave him a line of random numbers and he said thank you and I haven't heard anything from him since. AND of course there is no Mercedes in my driveway or truck with flowers and balloons and a huge check for $2.5 million to hold while they take my picture!!   LOL  At least I got a little fun out of it myself!!

The scam is still alive and active.  Just got the phone call telling me I won a Mercedes Benz.  After I read all you comments (while on the phone with him) I asked for his supervisor.  I asked him if I would also win 2.5 Million dollars (which they had not even told me) and he said Oh YES!!  Such a scam.  Going to have my co-worker answer next time and say he is the IRS.

Just happened to me too, this time it was Michael Brown. Said I won $2.5 million and a brand new Mercedes. The call was from Jamaica, and these are the numbers on my cell and given to me:  876-489-3287; 876-404-7217; 747-206-1015. Because of these postings, I hung up the phone pretty quickly and didn't engage him.

Sad but it's still going on. They got me also. Caught me, when I wasn't thinking but for everyone I found out where one of them live at. Solid address. Don't trust the 876......... numbers. 2.5 million and a pearl white Mercedes is his lingo   . I'm still getting calls about him giving me my money back( if that happens) I can get it myself if I really want it. Be aware and I wish I seen these comments before giving up money. But I can at least stop one of them or the main one. He was Mr. MICHAEL on the phone. But I figure out Richard R Wade.  I got the info by telling him I got 9,000 cash on me and I would send it to him personal address. I then proceed like I change my mind because he was taking too long. Lol. Got him. Full address. Tomorrow we will see if my money come back, or I guess it's hunting season

These scammers are still going strong in 2018!!! Today is May 9th, and my sister, father, and mother have all received phone calls today from these people! One thing of interest...all 3 of them were called on their cell phones, and all 3 of them have Verizon, so I don't know if that is a coincidence, or a connection, but it might be of use to someone else out there. They live in the same city, but not the same household. The person who called them identified himself as Jordan, and he was also Jamaican. The phone number has changed, but it's still a Jamaican number (876) 895-2319. None of my family members fell for the scam, of course, but all of them were told they had won 2.5 million and a new Mercedes. The difference now is that these jerks aren't claiming to be from Megamillions, but from Publishers Clearing House instead. I know we live in some crazy times, but I don't think Publishers Clearing House has started outsourcing their "Prize Patrol" to a gang of Jamaican phone scammers, nor do I expect any dancing Rastafarians to turn up on my doorstep with balloons singing "Three Little Birds" either! Beware people!!!

Received a call from a Mr. Kingston at my work number, said he was from UPS and said I had won 9.5 million US dollars and a new Mercedes Benz.  Had a Jamaican accent.  I hung up on him as I knew it was a scam; A) Because I didn't believe it for a second; B) Because he never acknowledged the fact I had stated the name of the company before my name. Also, was very careful to not answer any of his questions with a Yes, as that is another scam where they record you saying 'Yes' and use it to purchase items and open up accounts in your name.  Hope this helps someone else!  P.S.  The number he called from was (876) 354-8222.
