Expired Vehicle Factory Warranty
Complaint

I laughed out loud as I read the mail today.
Before me was the most ridiculous post card solicitation. Highlighted on
the post card were the words FINAL NOTICE.
The notice explained that the VEHICLE'S FACTORY WARRANTY HAS
EXPIRED, OR MAY EXPIRE SOON DEPENDING ON MY CURRENT MILEAGE.
The card also explained that I MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO 5
ADDITIONAL YEARS OR 125,000 MILES.
Imagine how I felt. Naturally I'm concerned about the rising costs of
repairs. I'm also concerned about proper maintenance and up keep for
an automobile.
But friends, this must be a SCAM!
My car, now get ready for this is way past the warranty stage. And I have a really great mechanic, in fact I have 3. Now are you ready?
MY CAR WAS BUILT IN 1985. I'll repeat that. I drive a 1985 GMC.

I have two cell phones and they are calling both lines! Anyone know what can be done about this? Im ready to bring a class action lawsuit against these [***] if they don't stop! -Tj
If I call back I either get dead air or a busy signal.
They are shafting as many people as they can, and my guess is, they will just pocket the money and sublimate promptly after they have suckered in enough people. I doubt they have any intentions of actually paying for anyone's car service.
They are crooks. Even if you leave out their crooked business scheme, calling people's phones like this is a federal crime under Title 47: http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/get-c ... =1200&TYPE=TEXT
My husband, myself and my father-in-law all ended up buying cars last year- all the cars are covered under new warranties- TELL ME WHY AM I GETTING expiration calls so soon? I've tried to get them to take me off the list or at least tell me what vehicle they are calling on and the "warranty caller" just hangs up. total scam.
BUT! Be warned- they are now asking for cofirmation of the caller they are talking to and now do ask you to enter the last 5 digits of your social secutiry #. I think the scam is getting bigger.
Tried to got removed from their list pressing 2, talk to someone pressing 1.Nothing works, it's quite anoying... People just hang up on you if you ask then to remove you form their list.

I want to get a nice crash-crash sound--shattered glass and twisted metal. Then, next time they call...I'll talk to someone and in the middle of it, yell out "OH MY GOD" and play the car-crash sound.
These freaks deserve a good scare.
It's gone from nuissance to foul language abuse.
