Country: United States
I got a call on my cell phone regarding credit card debt relief. . I was transferred to nakisha,  asked if I wanted to continue, they asked for $600 or $60.00 to send me the paperwork and for the consultation. When I asked them what it was for she said they would deduct from my first payment but would not tell me what the money was for FINALLY SHE  said yes.

THE FIRST TIME THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD APPLY TO MY CREDITORS BUT WHEN THEY CONVINCED ME TO RECORD MY VOICE THAN THEY SAID IT WAS ONLY A FEE FOR THE CONSULTATION!!!

. No fees should be sent to anyone for additional information requested on a company or program

she has been harrasing me telling that i have to pay this amount or else! and that they can take me to court becaues they have my voice accepting!! !  unfortunally i gave many personal information!!
what happends now??
i never signed anything!!!!

People People Consumer law group has one of the best processing back office that i ever seen. I have see the attorney from not taking cases from clients that he knew he couldnt help. He underwrited every single file that comes in. A company with this level of exposure nation wide people are looking for any little negative thing to write about.

    Truth
The truth about modifications. You can do it yourself but obvisoulsy people cant. They need this service and they are looking for others to help them out. Consumer Law Group has a system that has been working and with one of the highest approval ratio in this industry. 3% of the clients are people who couldnt get their mods approved, They will do what ever they need to do to bad mouth a company. Its ok they are upset. its not our fault when the modification process gets started they have a full time job and 30 days later they are layed off. And the worse of all its the same people that work in there trying to push modifications that they know the clients doest qualify they still push in anyway. But those people are gone. We dont need them. People can say all they want. But we know we have a good processing platform.

    Prevent Loan Scams
    Hello,

I am writing as a pro bono attorney working with the Prevent Loan Scams Project of the Lawyers' Committee, a not-for-profit organization based in New York.  My colleagues and I, of the law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell, are working with Lawyers' Committee to investigate entities and individuals that are possibly involved in loan modification scam operations.  We are trying to help people who have been scammed, and are working free of charge, on a pro bono basis.

We have seen several complaints on the internet concerning Consumer First Law Group and Consumer First Corporation.  If you have a complaint about either of these companies, we would be interested in speaking with you to learn more about your experience and investigate the companies further.

There is no charge for anything we do for or with you.  We are simply trying to help.  You can learn more about the Prevent Loan Scams project at www.preventloanscams.org.

Please feel free to contact us at cflg.intake@davispolk.com or (212) 450-6593.  We look forward to hearing from you.

We trusted SSG, settlement service group. 13th ct Pompano beach Florida. Business is run by Josh and Debbie Fortel. They took almost five thousand dollars for fees and have negotiated nothing. They would return our phone calls. We are now being sued. Global client solutions is their money handling company and its recommending them to return our money. They are a scam and a ripoff and are very unprofessional company i've ever seen. THEY WILL RIP. YOU OFF AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY.

WHAT A  BAD JOKE!!! ANTHONY BLACKWELL IS AN INCOMPETENT. MITIGATORS DO ALL THE JOB AND HE DOESN'T EVEN PAY THEM FOR THEIR JOB . THAT IS THE REAZON WHY ALL CASES ARE ABANDONED. THEY BLAME EMPLOYEES FOR THEIR OWN NEGLIGENCE

MAYBE WE WERE FED UP OF WORKING FOR FREE. AND WITNESSING HOW THEY WERE LYING TO CLIENTS, GETTING THEIR MONEY AND OFFERING TO MODIFY THEIR LOANS WITH 2 MITIGATORS AND PILES OF FILES.   What they do is fradulent and morally corrupt.  Charging a fee as a "retainer"  is making people believe that they will receive some kind of representation for their money.  If you go into foreclosure this " firm "will not be representing you. They will tell you that they were hired to apply for modification . Therefore you will be charge you an aditional fee for taking your case to court or for failing bankrupcy.

Hello everyone, today I went to meet Anthony Blackwell and Ruben Salazar to show the roles of the house. Them told me not modifications they made, but that if they worked with the Fair housing or to the Forence audit and I qualified!, according to them the first option (fair housing) could lower the interest 2%, reduce the principal and pay off the debt of late that I have, of course! they asked to sign an attorney power and pay $ 3,500, would only be here through litigation between lawyers would last about 2 months the process. With the second option (Forence audit) would take the case to court to fight the house which 99% I would win the case stop any process would last approx. 1 year process, I would have to declare bankruptcy because the loan would become uninsured, but the end all would give me free house payments, of course! This would cost U$25.000, which would have to pay $ 5.000 down to start and each time the attorney must appear in court to make another payment. Both options guarantee me the 99%.
I request a business card and they didn't have any, they also asked for the original papers of course i didn't leave any.
Can someone let me know how the forence audit works.
    thank you

    Really?
To Nina - why would you think this company is legit if they do not have business cards first of all and then - guess what - you can file bankruptcy now on your own and not pay the thousands of dollars they are going to steal from you.  They state on their website they do modifications and now they tell you that they dont do modifications.  You need to get out and do not give them any of your paperwork.  Get a bankruptcy Attorney by you and you will see they will have legal paperwork, a BUSINESS CARD, and you will get legal representation.

They told you they will represent you at the court hearings and if you read many of the blogs - they never go to the hearings so contact a Real Attorney for help not Consumer 1st Law Group.

I'm praying hard that this is not a scam. I have been with consumer 1st law group now since Feb,2011. I was told its only because I can prove my hardship that i'd be able to reduce my month house pymt from $1100 to $650ish. I paid my $3000 over about 4 months and kept faxing them all my foreclosure notices. Now I have a foreclosure sale date at the end of this month and I cant get them to return my calls. Very scarry. I dont want to loose my home. Does anyone know what I can do...Please help!

    help for Nikko
Nikko the bank send you foreclosure paperwork because Consumer 1st Law is taking your money - you need to file for bankruptcy  with an attorney in your area and the Attorneys fees are in the bankruptcy filing and in a second your house is out of foreclosure - you contact the Attorney and they send you papers to fill out and what to give them copies of, you pay a super low retainer fee(in which you get a receipt and a notice of retainer) and they fax it to the Bankruptcy Court and it instantly ends your foreclosure - I am not lying to you I did this and I was scammed and I almost lost my house and I got an Attorney by me and I have my house and a payment plan.  Dont waste time save your house and the stress - unfortunately these people made a horrible result for you because the fees from your bank will be higher because they lied to you and no payment was going onto your house payment.  The interest will be higher and you can fight against consumer 1st Law group after you take action - look at the blogs above about the pro bono Attorneys.  Nikko I swear to you this place is a scam and I know the feeling you have right now - a sick horrible feeling - file bankruptcy immediately to save your house.
