I am being harrassed continuouly from 347-927-0838 and 347-287-6498. They say they are a law firm are trying to collect money for a payday loan I owe, yet they are not providing me with any proof that I owe this. One person told me it was USCash, I called them and they told me these people are scam artists and they receive numerous call everyday. These people are foreign and I can't hardly understand them, they are rude and I am not going to pay something I have no proof of.

I received a call as well two times at my employer in the last two days. He states his name is John with a foregin accent, who you cannot understand, because he was talking 1000 miles a second and to call on Thursday @ 347-457-3023 or I will have a judgement against me if I didn't pay.I was told from my HR to get it handled a.s.a.p. Is there someone that can stop these harssing calls??? Please help.

They called me too. They said they were going to hold my paycheck because of an unpaid loan. Since I did have a pay day loan I was still paying off I fell for it. Figured out yesterday after they had already gotten my $400 it was a scam. Made many phone calls trying to figure everything out. Praying I get my money back.

These are criminals calling from India running fake "debt collection" extortion rackets.  Contact the FBI.

Your HR department are incompetent idiots.

Hey,  these butt heads have called me twice in the last month.  They say I have a payday loan I didn't pay back, and the police will be at my door the next morning, if I do not pay them. They say the loan is with Cash Advance USA, but will not provide any written proof I have a loan.  Also, when I ask for the phone number to the payday loan place, so I could straighten it out with them, they gave me a fake number.  When I called it, it was the same people.  The thing is, they have my ss# and the last 4 numbers of my bank account !!!  That scares me a little.  I know they are scam artists, but if they have all my info, can they get to my money in the bank??  This really pisses me off.....

I have experienced the same thing this guy named lei Johnson has been calling my job and everything. The guys was able to tell me the last 4digits of my ssn as well as my bank routing and checking account number. My street address and everything. He called me from 3474573031. He said I had taken out a payday loan in Aug of 2010 and never paid it back. He faxed me over a settlement breakup letter saying I owed $1090 but they were giving me a 74% discount so I only had to pay $300.

i have got the same call from these people. They called my phone at least 30 times in a row one after another. They say i owe them for a loan that i never got and if i didnt pay that i would be sued and i finally found this website and they next time they called back i told them they were a bunch of con men and if they wanted the number to my lawyer that they could call him or otherwise sue me like they said.

I called these guys acting like my attorney and told them that they were being sued for harrasment and told them that i needed an address to send the papers to and they told me okay and them hung up. I say we all act like our lawyers and call and harass them let them know how it feels.

    grrrrrr!!!!
I too have been harrassed by these people.  I have called back and pretended to be an attorny(Margret Thatcher)....  Also called back pretending to be a cop, he asked me for my badge number so i gave him one, and he yelled to someone, "officer mark can you verify this badge number"  I had my girlfriend call back with a fake name and stated she was calling from the consumer protection agency under the FBI.  Mr Shawn carter then stated that, he was told to keep calling and calling and harrasing people by his employer and that he would not call me anymore.  That lasted 2 weeks. Now they are back.  With the same message when you dont pick up.  THis is officer WHATEVER calling from the law and crime investigation unit and there is a serious complaint against you and your ss#.  I love when they say if i dont here from you all i can say is good luck and god bless.

    Another annoyed person
I have been called several times by a "Jack Mark" (Took me about 14 calls to understand enough of his accent to conclude what name he was claiming) Interestingly, today was the first time I could even understand all of their callback phone number to try to look them up online.

Interestingly, it seems they insist on spoofing their phone number on caller ID, and they do a poor job of it.  They never send enough information to be a valid phone number.  Going back against their 'caller id' information (which as I said is already faked) would indicate they're trying to say they are calling from a Mexican international number, but even then the data is all wrong.

I will say this much, they pulled my info from somewhere, because the voicemails all mention the last 4 of my actual social.  I'm suspecting they get a feed from one or more of the 'payday loans' lead generating sites.  Because a few months ago I filled out one of those, and received 12 different calls within a few hours.  Never took out the payday loan...  Then in the last few weeks started getting Jack Mark's call.

i feel stupid for making payments to them because apparently they're a scam but since i've already agreed to the payments, if i stop paying them now, will they be able to take me to court? i've already paid over $500 :( i hate people like this. i'm a single mother and i work full-time and go to school full-time and they took my money by threatening to take me to court. no one wants to hear that.

File a complaint with the FTC(Federal Trade Commission) 1-877-382-4357.  Tell them everything: name, phone #, "name of company", alleged debt.  Afterwards, call your states attorney's office and see if this scam is on their radar.

Because it is a scam and they did/are taking money from you it is now a federal crime.  They are now frauding you of your money, and you can now press charges against them.  Call your local law enforcement agency and see what they can do.

I desperately need some advice. I posted on February 10 about ACLS threatening to take my money and actually getting $400 out of me. I filed a dispute with my bank and the temporarily gave me $400 back but then went ahead and repaid it to ACLS. I have no idea what to do. I work overtime for the money I get to cover my expenses each month and didn't have the $400 to give in the first place. What do you do when even your bank won't/can't help you?
