I am being harrassed continuouly from 347-927-0838 and 347-287-6498. They say they are a law firm are trying to collect money for a payday loan I owe, yet they are not providing me with any proof that I owe this. One person told me it was USCash, I called them and they told me these people are scam artists and they receive numerous call everyday. These people are foreign and I can't hardly understand them, they are rude and I am not going to pay something I have no proof of.

File a complaint with the FTC(Federal Trade Commission) 1-877-382-4357.  Tell them everything: name, phone #, "name of company", alleged debt.  Afterwards, call your states attorney's office and see if this scam is on their radar.

Because it is a scam and they did/are taking money from you it is now a federal crime.  They are now frauding you of your money, and you can now press charges against them.  Call your local law enforcement agency and see what they can do.

I desperately need some advice. I posted on February 10 about ACLS threatening to take my money and actually getting $400 out of me. I filed a dispute with my bank and the temporarily gave me $400 back but then went ahead and repaid it to ACLS. I have no idea what to do. I work overtime for the money I get to cover my expenses each month and didn't have the $400 to give in the first place. What do you do when even your bank won't/can't help you?

After doing some research I found that I can sue ACLS if I choose to. If I win they could be ordered to pay up to $1000 plus my attorney fees and court costs. I have also filed a complaint with the FTC and plan to with my attorney general. I am determined to get my money back and thank God I saved the nasty voice mail they left and the crappy paperwork they faxed me.

These people have called my job saying I owe a payday loan also. When I asked for a direct line to call they also gave me a fake number to call that also sounded like an Indian(for India) person. They are very rude. I tried to call back the origial number they called me from and they just answered the phone saying "Hello", no company name or anything, when I asked whom I was speaking to they asked who I was and put me on hold and never can back. These People would not concern me as much as they do if they did not has all of my informationbank acc info, SS#, home address, etc.
    Thanks

I have received several calls from the same people. Saying his name is Danny Wilson, Daniel Henderson, and Daniel Anderson. And as well as everyone else I thought it was super weird with his strong India accent. The first time he called he tried selling me car insurance. And now has led to the same thing... ACLS Law firm & Investigation. And that I owed $900 but they could settle it for $580. He was very eager on getting any bank or credit card information. Super rude and was even cussing. I thought to myself... I don't think any law firm would be caught dead cussing. I asked to speak with a Supervisor and he said one moment please... And then pressed all kinds of buttons and it was way obvious. Then another person got on. And was like you need to pay this or you can fight for your life. I said Sir... Tell me why when I google ACLS all it kept telling me was that this was a scam and to not give out any information. He started mumbling and called me a a**hole and hung up. This is so shocking to me that its been continuing and they haven't gotten caught. Because of them I avoid answering any number that I don't recognize. I hope this stops and these lazy scam artist get off there butt and try earning and working for there money like we do haha! I hope this is helpful to you guys... Have a wonderful day =)

OK,,,they were calling me several months ago, once I found out they were a scam I asked for proof of this loan I never got, the lady cussed me and hung up.  That was back in October, so today, April 1, one of my friends gets a call from them telling her they are looking for me.  REALLY????  it's BS....what can we do to stop these people????

I have received probably 10 phone calls in the last month saying I owe money for a payday loan and if I don't pay today I'll be sued.  They are RUDE, they threaten me and say that they are going to "make an example of me to others" by having me arrested and sued for not paying back a payday loan.  The only problem is that they can not provide any proof I owe anything. I continually ask for documentation proving I owe any money and they say they don't have to provide it to me. They say that the fact they have my information is proof enough!  AND THEY ARE ALWAYS FORGEIN AND I CAN'T HARDLY UNDERSTAND THEM.  I did however understand them when I asked what lawfirm they were with and they said ACLS. One time they said they were calling for Pay Day One, then another time it was Advance Cash America and this last time it was Cash Advance USA.  All I ask for is proof of the loan they say I owe and they refuse to give it.  HOW IN THE CRAP DO I STOP THEM FROM CALLING ME!!!!!  JERKS!

These people having been calling my daughter, now they are calling me telling me she owes them money! Apparenlty, the FBI is involved in this and are investigating. Unfortunateley I do not think that will stop these people. The best thing to do is dont answer, hang up and dont call them back. Do not entertain them at all!

DO NOT SEND THEM ANYMORE MONEY!!! You will not be sued by them! They will keep taking your money. I would close the account you provided them and DO NOT SEND ANY MORE MONEY!

    PI$$ED about ACLS calls
I am getting phone calls from them 15-20 times a day......at first I thought someone was pranking me because the messages they leave with their thick accents are just too funny, but I called them back and was told I owe money for a payday loan, which they wouldn't give me the name of the company that I owed the "debt" to. They have my name, address, social sec#. They are from another country and are a scam. When they call and leave messages or talk to you, they break EVERY LAW that pertains to the FDCPA (federal debt collections practices act). You can google FDCPA and know your rights as a debtor. If any so called "collections dept or law firm" calls you who isnt following the federal law pertained in that act, do not give that company any information about yourself and definitly do not give them ANY banking/credit card info. I just called the FTC to file a complaint (877-382-4357) and I am going to call my states atty office now (the FTC gave me the number). Make sure you keep a list of all the names, phone numbers, time of calls, and what threats they are saying to you. Together, we CAN get these crooks!!!

No!!! they can not take you to court. Just get your accounts change. I have done the same thing. I did not want trouble on my job so I agree to pay. When I found out that it was a scam....I change my accounts and home phone number. Do Not Worry....everything will be okay!
