I am being harrassed continuouly from 347-927-0838 and 347-287-6498. They say they are a law firm are trying to collect money for a payday loan I owe, yet they are not providing me with any proof that I owe this. One person told me it was USCash, I called them and they told me these people are scam artists and they receive numerous call everyday. These people are foreign and I can't hardly understand them, they are rude and I am not going to pay something I have no proof of.

Add another phone number for these people--ACLS as they call themselves--347-637-6444.  They left me a message but when I called back they could not tell me why they were calling and I refused to give them my phone number --how sophisticated can they be if they do not even have callerID????

    Virginia Alexander, Attorney at Law
I represent consumers in the bankruptcy court in Louisiana. I have come across this issue a couple of times in the last year. You should read the other posts. Most have good advice. I am not your attorney. However, if you resided in Louisiana and came to see me for a consultation with these facts, I would likely tell you to close your current bank accounts, reopen new ones, request a fraud alert be placed with each of the credit reporting agencies, and hang up on anyone calling to collect on this so called account.

Hello I went through the same thing for several months I kept getting phone calls from different numbers leaving messages that I couldn't really understand when I finally called them they had said I took out a loan of $300 when I asked when they said back in aug 2010 when I also asked them to what bank they said us bank which was not possible b/c I opened my account till nov 2010. When I asked from what pay day loan compamy did I take out the loan from he wouldn't give me a name what so ever. Also when I asked for them to send me proof or any kind of evidence of the matter they said they couldn't finally when I agreed on paying just to see what they will send me they ended up faxing me this two forms that to be honest you must only have to be a complete idiot to believe it. So I told them it was [***] and that I am not payin for something I didn't get they got mad and said to prepare for a attorney b/c I will be goin to court. Then several months passed by and today they decided to call and I caused them out b/c they tried to say that they had deposit it in dec 2010 dumb pricks. I called the cops they came to my house and called them from the number they called and just put them on hold for a while they called again and never answered so I am sure they are not going to ever call again. They say they are the federal goverment of crime department they go by ACLS and they use names that wouldn't pertain to them common now they sound like they are from afghanistan or pakistan lmao anyways so if you ever get phone calls from something like this using the names nick flemming david johnson DON'T BELIEVE THEM!!!!

Hello, I have received the same phone call at work today. Saying I defaulted on a Payday Loan and they have an affidavit which states that criminal charges can be filed on me. The guy said he was Kevin Anderson with a Law Firm and sounded Indian with a very bad accent. I have taken out a Pay Day Loan but, have not defaulted on it. I'm am current and making payments.

They want 275 and then said I can send 50 dollars with a promissory note and they would drop the charges and I would not be arrested. They even said that I should get an attorney. You would think that if I did default on a 300 dollar pay day loan, that the company would send me a letter or email and try to settle it themselves. I'm struggle to pay bills and make ends meet. I don't need harrasment at my job. Please help!

    Karma is a good thing
I call back and listen several times a day.  Then I let them know it is tortious impairment and the more they ask for the more I  WILL WIN IN A COURT OF LAW.  up to three times the amount.  This seems to get a hang up from them.  IF they call again I tell them how sorry I feel for them as bad karma will be returned to the caller alone three times worse.

I have received numerous calls for ACLS group for US Cash Loans  from 323/362-6015 and 309/200-2640.  I was told I'd be arrested the next day if I did not pay and court would cost me $8,000.

I did make the mistake and send some money.  I wish would have looked this up prior to being scammed!

This guy uses lots of different names, he calls from all different phone numbers, same heavy accent and voice. he could be know as roger, alex, who knows how many different names. don't let this guy bully you around, he tries to use your personally info to extort money from you. Don't be fooled by this con artist. he'll call your work, your cell, your home. he goes quite a long ways to get you to send him money on a prepaid card. if he was a debt collector he would be doing shady stuff like that so remember this guy is a FRAUD and don't believe anything he says. hope this is helpful to anyone else that may also be a victim of this POS..

This person called my job and has been calling my cell phone, blocking their number. He left me a message saying his name is Michael Hunter and that he's the senior locator for the processing and summons division for the state of Florida. He said I needed to contact my case worker, Mr. Moss immediately regarding 2 fraud charges against me for writing bad checks and that need to serve me with a warrant. I never called them back and did a google search on this and saw it's some kind of a scam. They have also called my job, but we have an call center who wouldn't put the call through. He said I needed to call 1-888-978-4319 extension 147 and that my case number is 431-923

    Unfuckingbelievable
They have done the same thing to me offering several "payment arrangements" in which each the amount goes up by a few hundred. Even if I owed a payday loan it would be for one amount not all this extra money. Not to mention this Indian [***] called my phone over 40 times within an hour threatening me until I finally cursed him out and told him to come find me!!!

I have also recieved their 500 calls a day. Thay have called my  Vp and CEO .  i informed them that even if I owed this money, it has nothing to do with my employer. They said they would tell them i am a fraud and get me fired,  Like that would help get the money

I got several harrassing calls at my job the beginning of September from ACLS 202-241-4168 and spoke with Ryan Smith. I am supposed to pay them @ 400 on Sept 30, 2013. After consulting with my attorney I was advised to cancel the debit card I gave them and get another card. I received a phone call today Sept 27 on my cell phone reminding me about the payment. I told them my attorney wants to see a letter from them. They kept asking for my attorney's information and I did not give it to them. I told them it is not a crime to owe money that I have paid. They threatened to call my references and send a letter to my supervisor. My attorney advised that it is a scam and they will be sued.
