I had purchased AC in june this year . The AC just stopped working on its own. When customer care was contacted to provide service i was told that stablizer wouldn't be working so get the stablizer repaired . The person named Deepak said check the output of stablizer and then let us know.I contacted the dealer who suppled the AC also didn't take any action so being in warranty period I had to get  repaired on payment.The most pathetic and disappointing behaviour by the customer care and the dealer ACE Technology NOIDA.

    Dear sir or madam,
          I have purchased an AC of your brand from a dealer of yours. The dealer is RATHNA FAN HOUSE, chennai. I have encountered a problem in my AC. so i asked SAMSUNG (NOIDA) for assistance, they said me to contact the dealer as my AC was in warranty period. But when i contacted my dealer they are not responding properly for my complaint. I got to know that my AC's compressor is not working. So kindly send your people to rectify my problem or take necessary action.

    I had purchased AC in 05-05-06 from Khanna Industries G-5 plot no.10 Manish Plaza II Central Market Sec-10. Dwarka Ph. 25071426.First COMPLAINT  Call no.is E57F2282 (COPY OF THE BILL ATTACHED) AC Gas has been leaked With in one year .I was out of town When I had come back then I launched a complaint It was crossed one year. I told your engineer that it’s a manufacture fault You never come to know that from where its leak. I have paid for the same also. but Yesterday I had put on my AC But its not cooling at all compressor is getting on.
    Is there any Engineer or any body from Samsung who can tell me where the gas has gone.It happening almost every year. Can I hope that It will be taken care of seriously by Samsung.

    Chellamani & Co, Ambattur. Your service engineer Mr.Vadivel PH No:9841660418 came on 03.05.08 at 10.30 AM. He finished his fitting work and gone. But at time I was not available our accountant only available.I came at 2.15 PM I saw front cabinet and back side are damaged. Please change our damaged portion and do the needful.I need your favorable reply. I am awaiting for your favourable reply and respond.

    I am one of the customer of Esteemed organization
    Samsung India Electronics
    Pvt Ltd,last year on 9th may 2007 i had
    purchased an A.C.(window)thru your
    dealer Global Enterprises vide bill
    no. 1879 S/No A-129PZBPL405202.After
    10-15 days there was some problem
    with the A.C.as it was unable to take the
    load,we log a complaint with
    the samsung service center,they attend the call
    and it was told to us
    that there is gas leakage in the compressor,they will
    refill it,and the
    needful was done,we  asked for the replacement of machine
    that this
    should not happen with the brand new machine nothing was done, and
    it
    was told to us that this not a big thing it usually happens with
    any
    A.C, we use the A.C. for the next 5-10 days,later on due to our
    personal
    problems we could not use the A.C for  the entire season,now again
    in
    2008 we started our A.C. again after 10-12 days we face the same
    problem
    ,again we lodged a complaint with the service center and also with
    the
    dealer i.e Global enterprises complaint no. 6151 ,later on after
    two
    days when we enquire about the status of our machine it was told to
    us
    that there is capillary damage and it is changed your machine
    is
    repaired and you have to pay rs 750/-(approx.) also in addition to
    this
    you have to pay the freight since the guarantee is over,as per
    the
    records of Service center the same machine was installed on 3rd of
    may,i
    was surprised to here these words as per the bill i had purchased
    the
    A.C. on  9th may also as per  my knowledge  there is guarantee of
    5
    years for  the compressor,since the capillary is the part of
    compressor
    as per the service center ,there should not be any charge.
               
          This is not a matter of Rs 750/-,later on say after one
    month if
    this problem is repeated again,they would again be charging it as
    per
    the service center guarantee period is over,kindly let me know what
    is
    my mistake?If there was problem in the machine why it should not
    be
    changed???, I had purchased it by paying rs 20000/- my hard
    earned
    Money,despite of getting good services i was harassed every time,is
    it
    my mistake if I had faith in a brand like samsung?
                       
      My query is still unanswerable by both Global
    Enterprises and the
    service center,request you to provide me the
    justice,hope for the
    positive response from your side.

    I bought my AC on May 6 2007 and it corssed the warranty period also. Now there is some problem in my AC after the 2 mins delay time am getting that flickering sound (where AC always use to indicate the owner whether its switched on or not) but unfortunately sound alone is getting but still my AC is not switched on. Can any one of your engineer help me out in this regard

    I do agree the POOR customer service being rendered now a days. I too bought the same 1.5 Ton Samsung AC from Sakshe Electronics, #84 GN Shetty road, T.Nagar, Chennai. Ph: 42606009 95 Lines0, 28154435/36, Fax : +91-44-421222345. WWW.sakshe.com, on 16th September 2006 on down payment.
    The AC was promised to be delivered on the same day but it came only after 2 days.

    The worst part is, after the installation the AC was working fine only for very few days. The compressor started giving abnormal noise, while switching ON and many times while the AC was running. We immediately made a complaint to the dealer and we were routed to the Central Customer Care, which is another IR-RESPONSIBLE wing I have never seen in my lifetime. The call was acknowledged after many days and the response we received over phone was : "It is a normal sound only". The point to be noted here is, no one bothered to visit our place and examined the condition of the AC, but the customer care person gave us such an annoying reply and the call was cut abruptly.

    We managed to control our agony for few more days. Later on our neighbours in the flat started complaining to us about the noise the AC was creating. They even told us many times that their children were not able to study becoz of this noise and some of their KIDS [Babies] couldn't sleep becoz of this disturbance.

    With NO choice the complaint was logged once again in the following month. Finally a technician came and examined the AC. He also didn’t have the patience to wait and diagnose the issue. The compressor normally starts only after few minutes after the switching ON. He told us the same reason and said sometimes due to Low voltage problem, such sound may come. I also cross verified his statement with my friends and colleagues, they said no such sound comes.

    This issue was going on for the last one and half years [>18 months]. Finally in the month of Feb 08, our AC stopped working all of sudden. We made a complaint again. They came and did a visual inspection and asked us to check the electrical lines with some electrician. We approached the electrical dept and requested them to check the LOAD test. They examined and said everything is fine. Again we approached the Samsung Customer care and reported the status. After a month [during April] another technician came and he said the condenser has to be replaced. He took the condenser and came after 2 weeks and fit the new one. But the AC didn’t get ON. He fitted back the OLD condenser and said becoz of LOW voltage only it is not getting ON. We tried explaining him to our level best. But everything went on ruin.

    We again made a strong complaint to the customer care. In the last week of April, another technician came. He examined well and said the COMPRESSOR has gone and it has to be replaced. He said he will update this information in their database and will make some arrangements to replace the COMPRESSOR with a new one [since we have 5 yrs USELESS warranty for this compressor]. Finally in the first week of May, they came and removed the compressor and said they will fit the New one in two days. Till now no response from them. SUMMER is almost over. You can imagine the level of un-comfortness we could have experienced during the hot SUN. Esp. the ladies and kids who are in my home suffer a lot during the MID DAY. When I look at them after returning back from office, it makes me to feel worse. I could see the tiredness from their face. I have also seen their health has totally gone worst becoz of this HOT summer.

    After all why we purchase an AC. It is mainly for a comfort for our family during the HOT summer. I am not sure when this issue is going to be closed. But only thing I can say to you all is :
    "I DEEPLY REGRET FOR PURCHASING SAMSUNG AC'.

    Just thought of sharing this with you all... pl take care and be aware of their responsiveness...

    I am from mumbai, tardeo purchased two windows a/c [i think biggest mistake of my life] of 1.5 ton & 1 ton from Kohinoor Electronics, Dadar in exchange of LG window a/c. The complains are as follows
    1. My a/c was never serviced by the company on its own. Unless u call them. they are least bothered. [LG on the other hand gave atleast my all services of the warranty peroid on time without me callinf them.]
    2. LG was around Rs.1500 cheaper than Samsung the day when i purchased the product but it made me think that may be the higher price is better quatlity but it is a [***] a/c.
    3. On callling the service center for servicing the person comes after two days. that too before coming he calls that is expected to come in 2 hours. But the bloody chut does not turn up nor had courtesy to call. The next day he comes like a fool without a blower and says we service the a/c with a toothbrush only and a bowl of water.
    4. Till i had LG our usage was around 10 to 12 hours daily and our bill was around Rs.4000 appprx per month but the moment i changed to Samsung the bill has continuely increasing. Today the bill has come is Rs.12000 per month which is bloody shocking.
    I made a complain with BEST they came and checked the meter which is perfect.
    I strongly fell the bloody a/c is only faulty.
    5. I donot know what to do can u please help me for the same.

    7. I am sorry to use foul language as i so fed up with the product that i really do not know what to do The A/c is just 12 months old and i exchange the a/c with new one what is get is just Rs.2000.

    I just bought one unit from Omega, Saligramam 2 days back.Last sunday a technician came home and after unpacking we found few damages inside.One plastic body was broken, fins was damaged and the outer body lot of scratches.I called the dealer and they agreed a replacement.But since the technican already made the wall space ready for putting the AC, he convinced to keep the unit in the wall space and once new one comes they would just need replace the inside unit alone.I signed the installation report with all these comments..The next day i was shocked to hear from the dealer that he cant replace the unit since it was "used"..!! I seriously doubt the technician and dealer played a double game against me as i am not local to this state. If someone knows the point of contact for Samsumg Customer service in chennai, please email me..I dont want to talk to the dealer or the subcontracted local guys (support) anymore as they irresponsible with no proper communication etiquettes..

    I bought a 3 window a.c. two tears back. the compressor of a unit burnt out 3 days back. Due to failure of this compressor gas is also leaked.

    I have agreed to pay rs. 250 + vat on lodging the complaint with samsung call center.

    now when their service engineer approached us he explained that the transportation charges , gas charges and service charges etc. to be paid by me.

    very intrestingly my home is hardly 1 km. from center, their person insisted me to use their transportation otherwise they will not provide me services. anyway this illogical situation was over at that point of time on exchange of some dialogues. ( It forced me to feel they have eye on your pocket in unethical way).

    I heard that Samsung has started using components sourced from china as their own brand name. We all aware about the price and quality of chinese goods. My regards about samsung products has gone down in the well.

    Now their service center is insisting me to pay gas filling charges, alothough they have agreed to replace the compressor unit. My question is : can compressor be replaced without leakage of gas ? when gas is leaked due to defect in compressor then why the hell gas filling charges?

    On my point I say;

    1. If I call samsung services - It is my responsibility to pay charges.

    2. If I use samsung transportation - It is also my responsibility to pay charges.

    3. If waranty is over, the gas leaked and filling is required - It is my responsibility to pay services charges + gas filling charges.

    4. If the defect comes in compressor (under waranty) and gas leaked due to this defect - it is a responsibility if samsung to mend my ac unit free of cost. But they do not agree on the issue.

    5. If the same problem occured again and again due to their compressor........they will keep on charging in such illogical way.

    I have an example of my brother's ac.the same problem was with LG unit, the company was honest enough to rectify all problems free of cost.
     
    I feel SAMSUNG is taking me on ride. I am prepared to fight till end.

    Please dont make a mistake by purchasing Samsung Airconditioner, the after sales service is pathetic. The dealers are also useless and pay no importance to customer complaints. There is water leakage in the AC and despite several compliants no body has turned up so far. PLEASE STOP BUYING SAMSUNG PRODUCTS MOST UNRELIABLE COMPANY

    This is venkatesan from kolathur chennai.
    as for i was using samsung window air conditioner .
    it has got some faults and was not properly working now.
    i called the customer services and complainted about the faults.
    two persons were came for service and they did service and i spent
    huge money for service. but within a week it was not working.
    too bad performance.again i called customer services and complainted
    about the service. but those peoples were not responding me properly.
    and saying our persons will come for service.. but til no one has came.
    i was calling often eventhough no response from customer service. wat shal i do.
    kindly help me out.past one week i was calling but no responce.
    if this situation exceeds i would surely take a severe action on customer service on samsung.do u think we are a fool to call u often.try to give a solution
    for this problem. very terrible and irresponsible service from samsung.
