My Aqua Guard - Water purifier - GOLD NOVA is not working since 2 weeks, i have registered a complaint against this, and till this no action. Hopeless customer service i have ever seen. I have been using Bislari water since two weeks. their people are not well trained, and not even well educated. I was about a buy a Philips and based on the voice on Customer service, i have choosen Eureka Forbes, thats my bluder. I never go for any Eureka Forbes product in my life. They say one part is not availble in India. If it is so, why they should market, they should have enough spares to give customer support. One simple answer is no spares available. Pathatic condition.
I recommand, not to buy Eureka Forbes products.

    I am fed up with the after sales service. i also have few cases
    1)      I requester Auuaguard to send some agent for maintenance activity during the warranty period (1.5 yrs ago). the agent visited us but he was not aware about the process to operate, later on (the analyst revealed) i came to know that he was trainee and he has never worked on this product.
    2)      I have requested company to reinstall my Aquaguard (complaint no - 81614569 and 91) in July, after shifting to new location. they committed that the serice will be provided to me within 48 Hrs... Even afetr 2 months i am still awaiting for service boy to give me a call. whenever i tries to take followup by caling the call centre, i sence that every engineer is surprized and have nothing to answer except promising that this will be closed "TOMORROW". The best part that they keeps opening a new ticket also (they have opened 3 tickets till now for the same cause)...

    Due to this inconvenience i ended up paying thouands of rupess just to buy WATER bottles.

    I am not sure if i need to PAY these guys for this pathetic service.

    I would strongly recommend new buyers not to go in for Aquaguard.

    Aqua Guard facts that can stress you

    Better be aware of some facts that I wish to share with all Aquaguard users, it may help lessen your stress if you are one of the victims of beeps, poor water output etc.

    Aquaguard Inova and above (Gold etc.) has a single beep repeated 6 times, every two minutes indicating the need to replace the Clarity Cartridge. Two beeps repeated 6 times every two minutes, indicate the need to replace Taste Enhancer. Three beeps repeated 6 times every two minutes indicate the need to replace UV lamp. These indications will be given every time water is drawn, until the service technician has carried out the necessary replacements. IQA (for Gold model only, differs slightly for Inova) is programmed for 10800 litres, for the filters and 5000 burning hours for UV lamp. BUT irrespective of the above company programming one can witness the beeps more so during monsoon and winters even if you have placed new filters or done changes as per recommendations. Aqua guard products are not at all acclimatized for Indian conditions and a humid and/or cold environment always by default results in weird beeps. Dont be surprised if these beeps stops or at least lessens during summer.

    Annual maintenance Contract most of the time is money minting process for them though its money losing for us. Dont ever go you will not benefit. A carbon and sediment filter costs exactly 655/- while the AMC is 1200 with cleaning being done sparsely (if at all they visit you) which actually can be done by any layman. Have a habit of replacing the filters (both) at least once a year and clean both the cartridge at least one in 3 months (earlier the better). Press the plastic button back that is located adjacent to the water outlet so that the top cover is opened. Take a plastic spanner that's provided with the product (its circular with a cross within it) and open the cap of both the cartridge. Pull out (force required to pull) the cartridge and wash the cartridge by placing below running water and washing the cartridge with sponge. For sediment filter (the non-black) even a nylon brush works fine but do not use it for carbon filter as it blocks it be separating the particles of carbon. Fit everything back once cleaning is done.

    If this sounds too complicated then other way around is to swap the water inlet pipe that goes to the filter to the other outlet(There are two outlets with one being always blanked/capped) and start the water. Keep this open for at least 3 minutes. You will see muddy water coming out. This is back flush and easier to do though less effective then manual cleaning.

    If someone has said you to press the water & music button and then switch on the purifier so that cleaning can take place, the he is taking you for a ride. This process does nothing!!

    Bottom line, if your municipal water is quite OK or above then instead of going in for any RO or UV based purifier which costs 5K or more, try the ultra filter membrane purifier (no electricity etc.) that is cost effective (3 to 3.5K). There are plenty manufacturer as of now in India.

    Dear friends never purchase an aquaguard Sensa which is the worst model in this tyoe available. insects easily enter into the system and the service guy gave a very beutiful solution for this problem ie to put cellotape all around the opening and told to check for the insects fortnightly. this is the model taken with almost rs18,000. kindly go for any other makes atleast u will not get stupid solutions like this.

    We have lodged a complaint for our Aqua Guard since last 3 weeks , one of the executive came and changed some of the part of the machine but still after so many calls the machine is not working.As we given them annual contract but still they are avoiding our calls, always say that the person would come at 1 pm or 7 pm , but nobody turns up. I dont understand does that means the -SERVICE, why do people are using the new techniques ? - For their comforts or to increase their Tensions ?

    i have an aquaguard but contrary to what folks here are saying it is running very well. however my complaint is that the maintenance contract that the company asks you to sign is very expensive.
    I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to open the damn thing so i can clean the filter myself

      Worst service huge labour charges to change catridge aroud 500 rs for  10 minits  kindly buy aplastic spaner  &   ee can do it i had done it once one month before

    I have also faced same problem. My AMC was valid from 30 June 2007 till 29 June 2009. Eureka Forbes provided services only for one year and they completely ignored our persistent requests made during the second year of the AMC. Local agency with whom the service contract was signed didn't answer calls and did not bother at all. VERY BAD SERVICE!

    I have 2 year warrantly cards (total 4), but service officer is not providing service after 2 service(1 year). They are forcing to take AMC.
    During Selling, company manager Mr Rajendra Mishra has agree and gave 4 service coupons with his signature.

    I feel this is purely cheating.

    Kindly help where i can do complain. I can not find any link on webpage (http://www.eureka-forbes.com) to register complain.

    i purchased eureka forbes r o system on 30th nov.2009.i have comlained several timrs but they are not able to fix the problem.i purchased it from Agra(U.P.) from vasu comlex.i do not know what is my solution

    I got New filter set as part of 2 years AMC for as they recommended free service(Filter cleaning only). Which started giving beeps immediately after 6 months of service. I surprised for finding fast exhaustation of filter even if i just used the filter for 20 liters per day.
    when i called them and they come and checked it and say again I need to replace it. One more interesting thing is the TAP they has given got rusted and broke down in less than 15 months as the tap provided is of low quality one. Generally the taps that we use in our houses generally lasts 10 years but life of Aquaguard TAP is just 1 yr plus. When i asked how much it costs to put new tap they say that it costs Rs. 710  for new tap and tap installation(Rs. 360 + Rs. 250). The tap is available for less than 150 rs in the market and one get it fixed it by plumber for just Rs. 100. But  Aquaguard  people selling it at very higher rates. It costing more than Rs. 2000 per year  for maintaining  Aquaguard filter as they are selling defective items also and thought it is not worth of that much cost and decided to go for better alternative.

    I have never had a complaint about my water filter which I bought from Eureka Forbes in 1994. This is the the first time that I complained to the service centre. The technician said that the transformer has burnt and that it needs to be replced, Three days have passed but transformer has not yet been replaced, the reply is that the transformer is out of stock. I completely agree, what's the use of buying a product from such a renowned company from TATAs'. Crazy..... they dont have spare parts in stock......pathetic.
