So by now most folks know that payday loans are never worth the time it takes to get one. Once you get them, you practically cannot get out of them. Zip19 issues payday loans without any sort of "pay-down" schedule. Instead, they will remove the entire loan amount plus the service fees in two equal amounts (basically they take the total, cut it in half and then remove them both at the same time).
The reason for this? The only answer is so that if the funds are not availabe in your account, then they can charge you TWO NSF fees instead of one. On my first time using this company, I experienced this because their website incorrectly displayed the dates on the calendar, thus making me choose an incorrect day for payback of the loan. Ultimately, they waived the fees, so I continued to use them. But my story actually gets better.
On the 17th of June at approximately 11am, I submitted a request to zip19 for a payday loan. I have been using this company for close to 9 months now and they have gotten a substantial amount of money from me. Per their own contract, if you cancel within 24 hours, they are supposed to cancel the contract and that should be that.
On the 18th of June, at 9:36am I submitted a request for cancellation. The date and time stamp on the fax confirms this. Even on their own website, they verified that the date and time stamp exist on the form. However their supervisor stated to me that they did not receive it until after 5pm that night. She stated that even though the fax "may" have come through at 9:30am, that they have to use the date and time that "THEY" (meaning the supervisors) got it. So it was posted to their website at 5:06pm.
Thier customer service is horrible. When waiting for a "supervisor" you are placed on hold for an inordinate amount of time. And even then, once you've spoken to them you are given no recourse of a higher entity.
Basically your only recourse with these companies, once they bare their teeth and show their true colors is to close your bank account and hope for a day in court. Otherwise you're stuck paying for something you didn't need.

i'm having some financial difficulties stemming from being unemployed until 3 months ago. i got back to work, and zip19 has helped me out considerably. they're not a long-term financial fix, though. lots of u people are asking for long-term extensions, and they simply don't do it. so don't get pissed off because they won't accomodate you; they have no obligation to accept your offer.
in my situation, they let me have an extension to my next payday, and i could reloan the same day. obviously reloaning all the time is a bad idea, but at least it keeps my teletrack credit rating good and i can keep a creditor for the future.
additional info:
- i've loaned with zip19 about 8 times and i've never had problems with unauthorized transactions
-zip19 is the only payday lender i use.
-i've only defaulted on a loan once.
although i don't recommend using payday loans at all, if you're in a very tight situation and have no other choice, i'd say this is a good lender. they don't offer rollovers or extensions which is a good thing in my opinion, because it's harder to pay lenders off when they're adding fees all the time.
And just because they treated you kindly you risk your personal identity?
my advice, call 877 947 1947, that's zip19's customer service line.
ive been using zip for a couple years on and off. i hate using payday lenders, but they've never let me down, nor have they sold my personal info.
just be careful about where you're putting your personal info i guess. there's lots of scammers out there, but i can guarantee you zip19 isn't a scam (because like i said, i use them regularly).
also i found their collections department ok
i think most poeple are just expecting too much from this company, its a 2 week lender and most of u people are trying to get ridiculous extensions (these are the words of one of their collectors)
they told me they don't charge extra interest so they won't extend it very far
I live here in Washington State. I had checked with the BBB, Attorney General, the RCW, as well as the complete State legal listings. Come to find out, ZiP-19 does not have a DFI license to operate within the State of Washington. Here is the actual cut & pasted bullet from the RCW;
• Any payday loan obtained from a lender not licensed with the DFI, and not repaid to the lender may not be collected by lender and the lender may not pursue action in Washington State to collect the debt. See RCW 31.45.105.
So..... after I had sent a responding email with the current info, etc, etc. Both Zip-19 / Northway Corp. emailed me two PDF's. One stating their Malta & European laws. They actually stated, that they are not bound by the laws of Washington State..... idiots!!
Anyway, The better news is....... You DO NOT, repeat.... DO NOT!!!! have to repay Zip-19 aka: Northway Corp. Unless by some far off fat chance, that your state's law says otherwise.
I have a complete detailed email document that I made in order to settle this business. If you would like a copy, please email me with the following subject, so that I don't think it's spam. ;-)

please let me know thanks David
i've used them numerous times, and i work for US bank. i deal with this company periodically at work in addition to loaning with them.. because payday loans are so popular right now, scam artists copy zip19's application onto their own site, and modify it so it steals your info in the process of taking a loan.
it sucks to have your identity stolen, but i guarantee you it's not zip19. if you don't believe me, fine, but I know what i'm talking about.
That's not zip19. I had a similar thing happen to me, and i ended up filing a police report and sending it to zip19. they sent me back a certified letter from northway financial saying that i owned nothing.
turns out someone got a hold of my info, because when i applied i just typed "payday loan" into google and there was a site offering a selection of loans. that site has been shut down now for fraud, cuz they stole your information in the application process. contact your attorney general and provide them with the phone# and information u got from the socalled "attorny", chances are other people have complained about them already.
good luck
During this same time, my account was hacked into by another one of these online 'gangs' (the banks terminology, not mine) and monies taken, forcing me to closed the account and open a new one. So I never saw the deposit, knew nothing about it until January third when they took a $180 debit card cash payment from my new account. I didn't even know remember who VIP cash was.
Now why should we pay back a loan we refused in the first place? THEY put the money in there, THEY should pay the consequences. Laugh all you want, but it DOES happen. I was foolish to give account information out online, it won't happen again.
If anyone has more information about vip cash loan representative Please post a comment or fraudulent report So that all of us considering this loan can look into it. if anyone else has information on an amount and pay back, we would all appreciate your comments.
thank you
