So by now most folks know that payday loans are never worth the time it takes to get one.  Once you get them, you practically cannot get out of them.  Zip19 issues payday loans without any sort of "pay-down" schedule.  Instead, they will remove the entire loan amount plus the service fees in two equal amounts (basically they take the total, cut it in half and then remove them both at the same time).

The reason for this?  The only answer is so that if the funds are not availabe in your account, then they can charge you TWO NSF fees instead of one.  On my first time using this company, I experienced this because their website incorrectly displayed the dates on the calendar, thus making me choose an incorrect day for payback of the loan.  Ultimately, they waived the fees, so I continued to use them.  But my story actually gets better.

On the 17th of June at approximately 11am, I submitted a request to zip19 for a payday loan.  I have been using this company for close to 9 months now and they have gotten a substantial amount of money from me.  Per their own contract, if you cancel within 24 hours, they are supposed to cancel the contract and that should be that.

On the 18th of June, at 9:36am I submitted a request for cancellation.  The date and time stamp on the fax confirms this.  Even on their own website, they verified that the date and time stamp exist on the form.  However their supervisor stated to me that they did not receive it until after 5pm that night.  She stated that even though the fax "may" have come through at 9:30am, that they have to use the date and time that "THEY" (meaning the supervisors) got it.  So it was posted to their website at 5:06pm.

Thier customer service is horrible.  When waiting for a "supervisor" you are placed on hold for an inordinate amount of time.  And even then, once you've spoken to them you are given no recourse of a higher entity.

Basically your only recourse with these companies, once they bare their teeth and show their true colors is to close your bank account and hope for a day in court.  Otherwise you're stuck paying for something you didn't need.

Don,t use Zip19.com-they are rip offs eager tobleed you out of your last dollar.I took a loan ,had problems right witnh another pdl company so i closed my bank account and opened another to put the other at bay, informed Zip19 i,m changing accounts, was told i cannot be bebited from new account and that i have to pay off by Western Union. Now with 2-yes 2 NSF fees, they claiming to make to electronic transfers as a result 2 retuned fees. That is B%^^%%^ !Only extra fee on agreement if returned was $29 once. The good thing is my boss said that wage assignment page they had me sign is not a court order from a Hawaii court so he will not honor it if i say don,t unless they take it to a hawaii court and win.I talked to a Knowledgable person and was told that is unlikely for the payday loan companies reputations. My advice is to not take ANY payday loans, try to borrow from friend,s etc if your credit is bad.I,m making complaint to BBB on this after i,m done writing this so anyone who reported them or had similiar problem please share with me.                  thanks

I have to say that I should have read this before I got involved with Zip.Com. They are the rudest people that I have ever seen and when I tried to make arrangements with them, they really went ballistic and started threatened to inform my job. This is a nightmare.

Remember, it is against the law, federal and state for any collection agency to contact your employer in their efforts to collect a loan.

Disclosure of any information concerning your loan default will cost them more than what the loan is worth.  Federal fines and penalties could run into the hundred thousands of dollars!

except that they are not a collection agency, they are the original creditor.

Remember it is NOT against the law for them to verify your employment ...which is what they do. If you acutally picked up the phone to talk to them they would tell you that is something that they do.

And I leave you with this thought...zip19 probably has a team of lawyers who have picked through their contracts with a fine tooth comb to make sure that they are in compliance of all the laws in which they loan to.They most likely have invested millions of dollars to make sure that their loan contracts are solid so they cannot be sued.

Read the fine print of everything.  No one can garnish your check without first notifying you and going to court.  There must be a court order for garnishment.  That is your right and your time to defend why you were unable to pay the loan back, so if a company threatens to garnish your check you tell them you will see them in court and to make sure they forward the court order to you.  All these pay loans are methods to keep you in debt, so be mindful of which ones you use and do your research before borrowing the money.  One I know that has worked for me is Cashnetusa.com

ive used zip19 several times. If you read everything they ask you to read you see the fee schedule and all that...  They state straight up its coming out in 2 weeks. THey have about the cheapest fees around to... $20 per 100 isnt bad. And if you arent going to have the money to pay that one back in 2 weeks why get it in the first place? Its like supposed to be in a pinch... not as income man. So, manage your money a bit better and stop blaming someone else! sheesh!

Zip19 says you can get your funds in 24 hours but they take 7 days to deposit the $$.  The first time I used them I got a deal of $10 interest per $100 borrowed and they deposited in 24 hours. I knew the next loan would go up to $20 but it's still low so I used them 3 times since and every time it's takes 7 days to make the deposit - which means that I pay high interest on money that I'm only borrowing for 7 days.  If I didn't need the money right away I wouldn't pay these kinds of rates, right?  Use MyCashNow... they're so much better.

I also use Zip19 and they are very very rude to their customers. Their interest rate is very high and it takes days for them to place the deposit into your account if you borrow. They have also threatend to call my boss and company to garnish my wages. They should work with you and allow you to make additional payments if something should arise in an emergency. I had my husbands wallet stolen after he cashed his check, so I couldn't pay right then and there. They should of understood.

You are a moron! Predatory lending is about companies who prey on peoples weaknesses. If everyone managed their money correctly, there would not be a market for PayDay loan, so the moron who suggested you manage your money better is obviously from that industry and don't really want you to manage your money better!
