So by now most folks know that payday loans are never worth the time it takes to get one.  Once you get them, you practically cannot get out of them.  Zip19 issues payday loans without any sort of "pay-down" schedule.  Instead, they will remove the entire loan amount plus the service fees in two equal amounts (basically they take the total, cut it in half and then remove them both at the same time).

The reason for this?  The only answer is so that if the funds are not availabe in your account, then they can charge you TWO NSF fees instead of one.  On my first time using this company, I experienced this because their website incorrectly displayed the dates on the calendar, thus making me choose an incorrect day for payback of the loan.  Ultimately, they waived the fees, so I continued to use them.  But my story actually gets better.

On the 17th of June at approximately 11am, I submitted a request to zip19 for a payday loan.  I have been using this company for close to 9 months now and they have gotten a substantial amount of money from me.  Per their own contract, if you cancel within 24 hours, they are supposed to cancel the contract and that should be that.

On the 18th of June, at 9:36am I submitted a request for cancellation.  The date and time stamp on the fax confirms this.  Even on their own website, they verified that the date and time stamp exist on the form.  However their supervisor stated to me that they did not receive it until after 5pm that night.  She stated that even though the fax "may" have come through at 9:30am, that they have to use the date and time that "THEY" (meaning the supervisors) got it.  So it was posted to their website at 5:06pm.

Thier customer service is horrible.  When waiting for a "supervisor" you are placed on hold for an inordinate amount of time.  And even then, once you've spoken to them you are given no recourse of a higher entity.

Basically your only recourse with these companies, once they bare their teeth and show their true colors is to close your bank account and hope for a day in court.  Otherwise you're stuck paying for something you didn't need.

Be careful when applying for any loan on-line. Scammers may try and contact you for add'l information or to verify info. DONT GIVE IT TO THEM!! Zip19 rarely calls for more info after approving your loan. If someone calls you, ask to call them back or chat with them on-line. Also, be prepared to pay the entire amount back + fees on you very next payday. You can always reloan a couple of days later. I have been used them for a year. I loan less and less each time until I stop for good. They were helpful to me but I make them my last resort!!

    Hi all,

First and foremost.  For any company wanting to give loans out other than a bank, then they need a DFI number.  This number confirms if they are legally allowed to give loans out in the first place.  You will need to check each state.  If they do not have a DFI number then they CANNOT get a collection against you as they are not legal.  It does not matter if they are with a tribe or if they are out of state.  They need to file in the state of your residence.

Do not let them scare you.  If you need more info let me know on here and I will send you a letter that you can email to them and end this hell you are in.  Don't let them scare you.

Hi. I took out a Zip19 Loan and had no problems. I live in AZ. Then, due to unforeseen illness, I came up short on my paycheck to re-pay my loan. Obviously I live pay check to paycheck. I couldn't make a rock bleed. The c.s. rep. is beyond rude. They are belligerent to say the least. I was told that if I don't pay by the end of the week (while still charging my checking account) they will basically ruin my credit, contact my employer, etc. You stated that you can help? How so? My email address is ldyrsa@gmai.com. Thank you.

I sent a. Cease and desist letter and a revoke of them drawing on my account as well as a revoke of wage assignment(which I don't think I signed but I sent it anyway. I called them today and said my letters have gone to the complaint department.  All the loans I have taken with the illegal interest could probably pay the back twice.  I am so stupid to have done this so many times. I live in Massachusetts where the are illegal.  I stated all of this in my letter
I faxed it and emailed it  and they said they will get back to me in 5 days
I will let you know what happens

I had a loan that was supposed to be withdrawn on the 17th of Jan and they never withdrawn it. I called them up and they said that they had a problem with the ACH that they use to deposit and withdraw funds. I knew right there that there was no problems with the ACH, The ACH was shut down on them making it hard for them to do any business, MyCashNow.com had the same thing done to them. Now they are trying to collect any money that is owed to them using alternate ways. The hammer is falling on Payday lenders especially those offshore because of the way they are doing business.

I refuse to do so and they get angry at me. i will only pay them the way that was in the contract. end of story.

A lot of you have valid concerns.
when you log onto a website, there is no guarantee that website is based in your country.
Many people are not aware that online poker sites and gambling sites are not based from US. It is cheaper to operate outside of USA.

as does Northway,  they are licensed in Malta and follow federal law.  Not state law.

Yes the US government is making it difficult for their citizens to have a payday lender option. Sadly you may all have to go stand in a brick and mortar company,  you will loose your privacy and loaning will no longer be discreet.

Also, Northway is located over seas, but ecare is in Canada.

many of us are friendly, but when I have a person yelling and swearing at me, like anyone I will terminate the conversation.

A lot of the time we have to hold certain customers accountable. Make an arragement, stick to them. if you know you will not be able to pay, don't loan.

Also do your research and read your contract. In everything.

Ive used zip19 never had an issue always had the money when they withdrew. Only thing that though i was going to use them yesterday and the site has a note saying they are not issuing loans to new or existing customers so that gave me a reason to research them now and quite frankly ill try not to use now.

So I'm having the same issue with Zip 19 and received a call today stating that it was Zip 19 and that they could do the ACH off of my account.  I authorized it before thinking.  Come to find out, it was a collections agency.  I called back to stop the payment and to request a statement from the collections company for my records before authorizing them to go into my account.  The lady stated that they couldn't give me anything.  I cancelled the payment, but now I'm being told that they'll start calling my employer.  I don't mind paying them, but I want something in writing since it's not them taking my payment, but a third party.
