So by now most folks know that payday loans are never worth the time it takes to get one.  Once you get them, you practically cannot get out of them.  Zip19 issues payday loans without any sort of "pay-down" schedule.  Instead, they will remove the entire loan amount plus the service fees in two equal amounts (basically they take the total, cut it in half and then remove them both at the same time).  

The reason for this?  The only answer is so that if the funds are not availabe in your account, then they can charge you TWO NSF fees instead of one.  On my first time using this company, I experienced this because their website incorrectly displayed the dates on the calendar, thus making me choose an incorrect day for payback of the loan.  Ultimately, they waived the fees, so I continued to use them.  But my story actually gets better.

On the 17th of June at approximately 11am, I submitted a request to zip19 for a payday loan.  I have been using this company for close to 9 months now and they have gotten a substantial amount of money from me.  Per their own contract, if you cancel within 24 hours, they are supposed to cancel the contract and that should be that.

On the 18th of June, at 9:36am I submitted a request for cancellation.  The date and time stamp on the fax confirms this.  Even on their own website, they verified that the date and time stamp exist on the form.  However their supervisor stated to me that they did not receive it until after 5pm that night.  She stated that even though the fax "may" have come through at 9:30am, that they have to use the date and time that "THEY" (meaning the supervisors) got it.  So it was posted to their website at 5:06pm.

Thier customer service is horrible.  When waiting for a "supervisor" you are placed on hold for an inordinate amount of time.  And even then, once you've spoken to them you are given no recourse of a higher entity.  

Basically your only recourse with these companies, once they bare their teeth and show their true colors is to close your bank account and hope for a day in court.  Otherwise you're stuck paying for something you didn't need.

    ZIP 19 IS A BUNCH OF [***], THAT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PPL AT HARD TIMES.  I HAVE BEEN LOANING WITH THEM FOR A YEAR AND NEVER DEFAULTED.  IT IS SO HARD TO KEEP UP WITH THE FEES.  SO RECENTLY, I HAD TO LET A LOAN DEFAULT.  I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM PRIOR TO ADVISE OF THE INSUFFICENT FUNDS, BUT WAS TOLD IT WAS TOO LATE TO STOP PAYMENT.  SO WHEN THEY CONTACTED ME, I TOLD THEM I COULD PAY HALF VIA WESTERN UNION ON 10/21.  SINCE THAT CONVERSATION, THEY DEBITED MY ACCOUNT 4X INCURRING ME $165.00 IN OVERDRAFT FEES.  THE COLLECTORS ARE RUDE AND HAVE NO COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS.  SO AFTER THEY BROKE OUR AGREEMENT, I TOLD THEM TO [***] OFF AND PUT ME IN COLLECTIONS.  I PROBABLY WILL HAVE A EASIER TIME DEALING WITH A COLLECTION AGENCY.  BTW I LIVE IN NYC AND ACCORING TO NYS BANKING DEPT, THEY ARE ILLEGAL IN NEW YORK....I HAVE PAID THEM AT LEAST 5K IN INTEREST FEES IN A YEAR.  WHICH IS QUITE STUPID ON MY PART, BUT ONCE YOU BORROW YOU CANT GET OUT.  SO WHAT A WASTE OF MULA BABY :(

    I know this was written in 2009, but I would like to say that this was very good advice.  I sent the email to revoke all debit authorizations to the account I had on file, and they did.  I am about to send another to revoke my wage assignment.

    Yes I am also a victim of 247greenstreet/e-care/northwayfinancial company. I live in california and ran into simular trouble paying them on time. For the first time ever. Although i had previous loans with them and paid on time.  I have found them very hard to set-up a installmnt plan of any kind this time around. I have every intention of paying back the funds plus two $29 nsf charges. Not to mention my own bank charging nsf as well. They aren't willing to work with me to get this nightmare resolved. However, they have threaten to notify my employer and have call me numerous times on my job during working hours. The last representative assure me if i did not pay by nov.15th 2011 the full amount due. I would be placed on checksystems & teletrac for 7yrs regardless if i paid in full or not. Because, i failed to re-pay by the allowed 30days of the contract agreement. Please advised what shall i do now?

    OMG!!!!Thxs for all the feedback about this company! Was seriously thinking about trying to get a loan. Tried to put in my next payday(this Friday-11th)& it kept going to the 10th! I'll look elsewhere.

    I too got a loan w/247 greenstreet. I only have to pay back $154 something from a $210 loan. They kept calling and calling. Even my job. They said I had until 11/10/11 to pay by 4pm thru Money Gram or it would go into checksystems or whatever and if I didn't pay by that date, they would just take the money out of my next paycheck. They called me at work the due date but I had my employer tell them to stop calling. They called my cell maybe one more time after that. So I guess I will just have to wait and see on the 25th if they actually will take the money from my check. They even e-mailed by HR to verify I work there still. I was so pissed!

    ... people, I work for a bank and I'll just tell you that if you go to your bank whining and crying because you have neglegently used 'loan shark' businesses like zip19 we are pretty much going to tell you to dispute the charge, and you're going to be found liable for those charges, and any fees that occur due to the fact you entered the agreement and agreed upon the terms.  You're not going to get away with free money here, and the bank is not going to refund fees to you  Thus why it's important to read the fine print.  The banks cannot save you, we are not the fix all to your neglegence.  Be responsible to begin with.  Ask any bank employee, we see this crap all the time, and we laugh at your neglegence as you walk out the door.

    did they ever take out the money from your check?  I have tried to work with them and they are so mean and wont work at all with me.  Im really trying to pay them back but they are asking for more than I can do at the time.

    I was going to go through this company and your admitting to these people what this company is doing is correct.  What a rip off and I will not be joining these poor people.

    wtf do you no read?  They are being charged way more than they took our, like triple the amount.  That is what they are complaining about not that they have to pay this back.

    However you can close your account out, I have worked at a bank for 20 years.  My bank will work with you because if it is illegal practices by the party than it is not your fault.  Each bank is different contact your branch manager

    I can say this they are doing illegal things with zip19.  Once of my payday ACH's did not go through and they can only present them to the bank 2 times they have presented them to the bank 6 different times.  I have found that they cannot take you to court on the accounts because they are not even in the united states.

    BUNCH OF [***] HABIBS ON MY PAYDAY LOAN. BORROWED 300.00they took out over 600 then deposited 400 more and i closed my account because i did not authorize a second load nor sign any paperwork online. Now they are harassing me for over 780.00 in penalties and calling my work and being rude to my secretary calling her a [***] and a moron. This is so unprofessional and I will not pay back the 400 even though i must have taken it out of my accouny at some time. This happened over 5 months ago and now they are following up with all these threats and are being total [***] and rude.[***] YOU U BUNCH OF HABIBS PS bRIAN HAWKINS IS HIS NAME. [***]

    Well payday loans is not the permanent solution anyway.You have to repay what you borrow eventually.

    This company is not licensed to do business in the United States. I had 18 payday loans with them and they started to screw with me. I checked with the attorney general for our state and was told not to pay them. They have no recourse. Ecare will call you and tell you that they do not have to follow the laws of the US since they are in Malta and Malta law superceeds US law. I just laughed at them. They did promise to call me every day which they did for a while. I would just answer and as soon as they said they were from Ecare I would hang up. I hope everyone in the US gets a huge loan from them and does not pay them back. This company needs to fold.

    i borrowed 700 with zip19  and still owe them 400  they have no recourse so do not pay them back   i checked with atty general
