So by now most folks know that payday loans are never worth the time it takes to get one.  Once you get them, you practically cannot get out of them.  Zip19 issues payday loans without any sort of "pay-down" schedule.  Instead, they will remove the entire loan amount plus the service fees in two equal amounts (basically they take the total, cut it in half and then remove them both at the same time).

The reason for this?  The only answer is so that if the funds are not availabe in your account, then they can charge you TWO NSF fees instead of one.  On my first time using this company, I experienced this because their website incorrectly displayed the dates on the calendar, thus making me choose an incorrect day for payback of the loan.  Ultimately, they waived the fees, so I continued to use them.  But my story actually gets better.

On the 17th of June at approximately 11am, I submitted a request to zip19 for a payday loan.  I have been using this company for close to 9 months now and they have gotten a substantial amount of money from me.  Per their own contract, if you cancel within 24 hours, they are supposed to cancel the contract and that should be that.

On the 18th of June, at 9:36am I submitted a request for cancellation.  The date and time stamp on the fax confirms this.  Even on their own website, they verified that the date and time stamp exist on the form.  However their supervisor stated to me that they did not receive it until after 5pm that night.  She stated that even though the fax "may" have come through at 9:30am, that they have to use the date and time that "THEY" (meaning the supervisors) got it.  So it was posted to their website at 5:06pm.

Thier customer service is horrible.  When waiting for a "supervisor" you are placed on hold for an inordinate amount of time.  And even then, once you've spoken to them you are given no recourse of a higher entity.

Basically your only recourse with these companies, once they bare their teeth and show their true colors is to close your bank account and hope for a day in court.  Otherwise you're stuck paying for something you didn't need.

I have used Zip19.com many times and have also contacted their customer service department once with a question without any problems. I only borrow what my next paycheck will cover,so I never have a problem. When reading the contract, Zip19.com tells you beforehand exactly what your payment will be on your next payday, so I believe the problems you people have are borrowing more than you can afford to borrow. READ YOUR CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN AND SEND IT! If you prefer to make minimum payments, then go to another payday loan company. I prefer this way. I am only paying exactly what the contract states I am going to pay.

why would you take out a payday loan if you were getting layed off? And if you get fired, that is your own fault not the loan company. Do not blame the loan company for your mistakes!

"Zip19 says you can get your funds in 24 hours but they take 7 days to deposit the $$.  The first time I used them I got a deal of $10 interest per $100 borrowed and they deposited in 24 hours. I knew the next loan would go up to $20 but it's still low so I used them 3 times since and every time it's takes 7 days to make the deposit - which means that I pay high interest on money that I'm only borrowing for 7 days.  If I didn't need the money right away I wouldn't pay these kinds of rates, right?  Use MyCashNow... they're so much better."'

You dont pay higher interest on the loan zip charge a flat fee based on the dollar amount borrowed you realy should not be slanderising a company on the internet as you can be liable for suite , market you site without slanderising a good service that helps tens of thousands of people world wide make it through to the next payday..

i received a payday loan that they never took back out of my account - even though the money was there on PAYDAY, and they sent me to some crazy collection company who wanted me to give them all my information again - bank account number social date if birth.,  I do not know who they were so i refused to give it to them.  They called my work, and tried to get information they call me 5 times a day - what is up with that?  i asked them for an address so i could mail them a check since for some reason they could not deduct it from the SAME account they put the money into - this is crazy they are just charging me more and more interest

I will start by saying I helped design the collections department for this company and I know exactly how it works.  There is a very easy way to get out of this evil cycle without paying them a penny.  E-CARE Contact centers a division of NDG Financial which is owned by Northway Financial. They operate under 7 different loaning names.  Cash Transfer Centers (CTC) Zip19, Payday Avenue, PRL Direct, Sonic Payday loans, they also operate in the UK, under pounds till payday (PTP) and in AU under Paydaymate.  Very easy just send them a cease and desist letter which states you revoke all debit authorizations, and that you revoke your voluntary wage assignment.  This will status your account as complaint on file. Once this is done your loan will no longer be collected on and they will not move it forward to a third part agency.   Also state that their lending in not authorized in your state as they are not a registered US company.  They are registered out of the republic of Malta and as per their business licence are required to follow all laws within the country in which they are doing business.  They do not do this. Also if they try to give you an address in Malta say that you would like the surrey or Winnipeg addresses this will also scare them a little. (that is me wanting to screw with their heads).  I was let go because I said their practices were not moral or right.  But I did the right thing.

Thanks, this helps a lot. I live in California and cannot pay back the 1600 loan I took with them. Was scared they would take my wages. This gives me a format to follow.

RESEARCH YOUR STATE LAWS!!!  RESEARCH YOUR STATE LAWS!!!  I live in Alabama, and I'll be damn if I did not have to go get in a bind and take out a payday loan with these jokers!  Yep, you guessed it, I could not meet the demand when it came due, and my check bounced.  There is one collector at E-CARE that has actually been great.  I did however, notify them FIRST that the draft would be returned.  I think this makes ALL the difference.  So, she allowed me to pay back in two seperate installments.  One on the 18th of December, and one on the 31st of December.  I called E-CARE after I sent the wire for the first payment, to give them the reference number and make sure they received it and WOAAHHH, the woman on the phone was hateful as hell!!  I was like WTF???  All I was doing was calling to verify that THEY RECEIVED THEIR MONEY!!  Her rudeness prompted me to contact the State of Alabama Attorney Generals Office!  ACCORDING TO THE WEB-SITE OF THE ALABAMA ATTORNEY GENERAL, IN ALABAMA, IF YOU BOUNCE A CHECK TO A PAYDAY LENDER DUE TO INSUFFICIENT FUNDS (which was my case) YOU ARE ALLOWED TO RE-PAY THE BALANCE IN FOUR EQUAL INSTALLMENTS!!  RESEARCH THE LAWS OF YOUR STATE!!!  I AM CURRENTLY AWAITING A RETURNED PHONE CALL RIGHT NOW FROM THE ASSISTANT AG FOR ALABAMA TO CALL ME BACK BECAUSE ALL I DID WAS CALL E-CARE THIS MORNING TO SEE IF I COULD POSSIBLY PAY THE BALANCE OFF ON 1-15-10 INSTEAD OF 12-31-09, AND THE LADY WENT BESERK!!  EVERYONE KNOWS PAY-DAY LOANS ARE HORRIBLE LOAN-SHARK BUSINESS PRACTICES BUT ESPECIALLY THE POLITICAL LEADERS OF YOUR STATE ARE AWARE OF THIS!!  SO, RESEARCH YOUR STATE LAWS......BELIEVE ME, THEY (YOUR STATE OFFICIALS) WILL BE ON YOUR SIDE!!!  I will never do a pay-day loan again!!  I wish Alabama would out-law them entirely!!!

R U telling us that this company is operating without the right credentials to operate biz in th U.S? I've used them for several months and have paid back on time so I've had no issues with them yet. I think the service fees are high but its a trade off.

I ve used Zip19 for about 2-3 months now. It is a service that help with short term needs. I have not had a problem because I always ensure cash is there to repay the loan. If u get in a pickle u did it not them. When u sign the the online contract u agree to the terms period. If they r doing bizness wrong report them. if u haven't a clue or plan to get to the point of not using them again y lose. They r not a long term way out of your

I had money put into my checking account back in Dec. on a loan I did not request nor authorize. Since then they have debited my account $88.99 2x a day every other day. This has resulted in approximatly $1300.00 in overdraft fees with my bank. How do I stop this and can I recover the fees not only to my bank but to my genuine creditors? Also is there a phone number I can call in the U.S.?
