Complaint

Ok, the number 702-520-1131 keeps frigging calling my phone and when I pick up it's an automated voice that says "This is the last warning that your factory auto insurance is going to run out" or something. I hang up every time because our auto insurance is fine. I have no idea where they got my number from but I want them to stop calling me.

We should all get on the band wagon for the magazine subscribe idea from G Washington. Go to your local Barnes and Nobles or grocer to get those subscribe cards and sign Digitcom up.

    Pulling my hair out
I spoke with someone at Wildgate 3 days ago who said we should stop receiving these calls within 72 hours. We'll see. Called Comcast and asked to have my number changed. If that doesn't stop it, I'm all for a class-action suit. I can't even have a phone convo without my call-waiting beeping ten times throughout the conversation. I'm just sick of this.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) adopted rules that require anyone making a telephone solicitation call to your home to provide his or her name, the name of the person or entity on whose behalf the call is being made, and a telephone number or address at which that person or entity can be contacted. The original rules also prohibit telephone solicitation calls to your home before 8 am or after 9 pm, and require telemarketers to comply with any do-not-call request you make directly to the caller during a solicitation call. In June 2003, the FCC supplemented its original rules implementing the TCPA and established, together with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the national Do-Not-Call list.

I hope a class action lawsuit is filed. Make sure everyone is keeping a log of all the annoying phone calls from Dititcom Services. The number that keeps calling me is 310-599-9167 and when I did the reverse search it showed Digitcom Services land line # 310-845-7500 and an address of 10000 Culver Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232. Not only do they call my (work) cell #, they also call my teenager's phones as well. Apparently our wireless carrier has sold our #'s on some stupid list and now we get an automated machine calling us about car warranties (my kids do not even drive yet) I did research the laws from the FCC website and this is a blurb from what is posted; Once you have placed your home phone number or numbers, including any personal wireless phone numbers, on the national Do-Not-Call list, callers are prohibited from making telephone solicitations to those number(s). Your number or numbers will remain on the list until you remove them or discontinue service – there is no need to re-register numbers. The national Do-Not-Call list protects home voice or personal wireless phone numbers only. While you may be able to register a business number, your registration will not make telephone solicitations to that number unlawful. Similarly, registering either a home or business fax number will not make sending a fax advertisement to that number unlawful, but the FCC has separate rules that prohibit unsolicited fax advertisements under most circumstances. For more information on the rules for fax advertisements, see our consumer fact sheet at www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/unwantedfaxes.html, or visit our Web site at www.fcc.gov/cgb/policy/faxadvertising.html. I know this is long winded but I wanted to give as much info as I had on hand at the moment.

I have had to re-register my cell phone number and my kids numbers with the FCC do not call registry.  Once you are on the list for 31 days, you can file a complaint on the FCC website. Then if they call again, you can tell them they are being recorded. Often times when you do have a recording of you telling them not to call you again, and they do and you have it show up on your caller I.D. or an incoming call on your phone bill. You need to write a demand .letter (Certified and return receipt) along with a copy of the recording. They will settle with you without going to court. Their threats can be viewed as abuse and there are laws against that, so get a cheap recorder (Radio Shack or even Wal-Mart) and get those Bast***s nasty comments and threats on a recording then go to the police. If everyone who receives these calls takes this stand...this crap will stop.

Got a call on my cell today, not the first time, from (213) 710-8112 Reverse lookup of course says unpublished. They do show that its digitcom in compton ca. They shouldn't not be allowed to have unpublished numbers, after all, if they are going to call us, we should be able to call them. I got something to sell them!!!

I too have been reseiving calls from 702-502-9102 which is based in Las Vegas and also traced back to Digital Com. The calls are so often that if I don't know the number I do not answer the phone which is not good. I offten wonder if maybe our phone carriers like t-mobile which is my carrier can be some way invovled.I really don't see the point of tele-marketers constanly calling if you have notified them to remove your number or your lack of interest of their product why will they waste valueable time calling the same numbers over and over.

So it has been almost a year since the first posting here and this problem is only worse. That tells me that Digitcom is complicit at a minimum, fully responsible at worst. If you really cared about your reputation you would have resolved this long ago. The fact that the callers cannot have any expectation of selling anything yet continue to call the same numbers even after repeated requests not to be called demonstrates a clear intent to harrass. Isn't that a criminal rather than a civil violation?

The telephone management service for digitcom is 503-223-7747.  call and complain to them.  the number that kept calling me kept haning up too. then i got a real jerk who recited my address to me and told me he would be here in 2 hours to kill me.
NOW there is a police report filed.  This has to stop.

I just filed a complaint with the FTC against Digicom.  I am on the National Do Not Call List and also the Texas Do Not Call List.  You can file this complaint on the National Do Not Call web page.  In my case, I filed it against Digicom Systems at 760-526-8134.  The reverse phone number search revealed this number was Digicom.

702-520-9102 (or that spoofed Caller ID) used an autodialer to call my mobile -- and hung up on me when I attempted to tell them.

Where's all that illegal wiretapping info when we need it?
The phone company themselves can't tell who called.

    fed up too
If your business doesn't need to receive international calls have the phone company block them. Most of these numbers are in the carribean so if you block international they cannot reach you.
