Ok, the number 702-520-1131 keeps frigging calling my phone and when I pick up it's an automated voice that says "This is the last warning that your factory auto insurance is going to run out" or something. I hang up every time because our auto insurance is fine. I have no idea where they got my number from but I want them to stop calling me.

The number that called me was a 310 area code that when I reversed it was Culver City. Do they use that many numbers just to try to get us to answer? This is ridiculous! I have only been called once so far, so I anticipate more calls from what I have read.

WTF! How did I even get on this list? They called me from 818 870 9225. What are they selling? This is crap, cause we all know, once it starts, they don't stop... they sell your #'s to other telemarketing companies. Maybe this crap worked back in the day with the door-to-door tupper-ware sales, but HELLO! We have the internet now, and are bombarded with marketing in EVERY place we look. Open your fridge, cupboard, look out your window, take a drive...we see all we need. We can look up and COMPARE prices online. It is such an obsolete and annoying practice to cold-call people. I don't even know if a call is for real or a scam...why do they still do this? I am sooooo less likely to buy a product if they call or spam me. And my cell phone is with me 24-7, for my personal use. This is why I don't want or NEED a land-line. How dare they...and how do they? F-ers!
    Phew!
Thanks for listening to my rant guys....good to know that I'm not the only one who is mad about this.

    OK,
I just called the number back, and it said, "if you are not interested in receiving any future calls on our special promotions, please press 1".
    I did.
Let's see how long that lasts...

Awesome Idea...I will be like, "hold on a sec" and then turn on my cell phone's video recorder, through the camera (It records sound). Don't even need to buy one with a cell with a video mode.

I get about 10-20 of these calls every day for the past 7 weeks.  The number calling into the 760 area code is actually 702-520-0076.  It is so like my number that when people try to call back to the bogus number, they actually automatically get my phone.  Their question is always this--"why are you calling me?" I have spoken to a Hugo, James, and finally Rick and I have a complaint number, fat lot of good that does.  No one is able to forward you to their supervisors and no one knows what action they take other than giving you a complaint number.  I have called ATT, Apple, the FTC and the FCC but no one seems able to put an end to this.

I get this same call from 626-207-9109 and 702-520-9101. Its [***] annoying. I dont answer any call from a # I dont recognize. I just spent 20 minutes checking such numbers and there are 11 on my list. You would think that after not getting an answer it would stop.

Sorry to hear there are so many more like me.  I lodged a complaint with FTC on 4/20/09. these calls originate from several #'s and as soon as I place one on my screened call list, they call me from a new number. It's B.S. that we have to pay for this harassment, as I too have a prepaid cell. Just a pity we can't reach thru the phone and ...

Thank you for the information about where to find the Contact Information/Complaint Form.  Apparently, the contact information is the same even if the number calling you isn't the one you reported. (Telephone Management Caller ID, LLC, email: dnc@tmcallerid.com, phone: 866 225-1956, fax: 503 296-2500) You saved me lots of searching!

Anyone had this number calling you 310-485-8913. reverse lookup takes it back to Digitcom. The call was something about" I talked to you about your debt and >>>>>" As I have never spoken to these people and had just gotten this phone number I am very upset they won't take no for an answer, and keep calling me. I don't know anything at all about what they are talking about.
How can you make it stop?

I called the 503-223-7747 number for digitcom. This company seems to own all of the phone numbers and lease their use to other companies. The guy that answered seemed to be even more exasperated than I was. I told him the number that called, and he was like "you've been getting factory warranty calls on a cell phone, haven't you". He said the company that had leased the number was already on suspension and shouldn't be using that number, and they obviously are, so digitcom is working on cancelling all of their numbers. At least I got some actual information. Call the same digitcom number and complain, maybe it'll motivate them a little further.

I got two of these calls in the last two weeks.  After doing some research and reading some message boards, I decided that two was enough.  I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.  I suggest that anyone else who gets a call like this do the same.  www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov

Just got off the phone with DIGITCOM. Some guy answered and DID verify that the phone number: 818-870-5069 IS provided through them. I informed him that this states AG office and several other state Attorneys General offices are looking into this. He took down my phone number and even offered me a "complaint number". I declined that - WHAT good would that do?
He also verified that he's in Los Angeles as that phone call only indicated that it came out of California.
Earlier, when I DID call that number back and pushed the "1" number to talk to a "live" representative, some slimeball calling himself 'Lance' answered but, hung up on me IMMEDIATELY when I began chewing his ass.
I noticed that one comment above where someone mentioned that they were told they'd be over in "two hours to kill you." I WISH someone would just make GOOD on that promise to me. I haven't fired my 12GA shotgun in a LONG time.
I hope I don't sound just a bit hacked off by all of this.

Thanks for the post Bobby K. That WAS fun. I called that 866 number and some guy - he sounded as [***] as a football bat - answered. Told me he wasn't Digitcom but, they were a business they DID do business with. I tore into him and he said in his prissy voice, "please hold on for a moment." I told him no and I just hung up on him. I think I'll abuse them for awhile longer. We've all been abused by them long enough, don't you think?
