I have received about 11 calls today from this guy with thick accent who claims he was, on Friday, a CEO of a company in Las Vegas, NV representing the Mega Millions CO, and Sunday, an FBI agent with information to get paid on the $3.5 M.  This is too funny! Beware!  I have sent all calls to VM but notice his calls are non-stop.  He claims he is calling from Las Vegas, his # appears to be 876-477-3635, from Kingston, Jamaica. (876) 477-3635, 876.477.3635

As you can tell by the number of posts in this forum, these filthy animals have been particularly active - and persistent  - over the past few months. If they call again, please record the call. Thanks.

Just when I thought I had heard the last from these foul smelling rodents, I received a call from someone calling himself, "John Baker" (they apparently think every white person in the US has "John" for a first name.) He instructed me to get a Green Dot Money card from CVS to pay my registration fees because I had won 2.5 million from "Mega Millions" in Las Vegas. These calls are being placed via Magic Jack and the audio quality is very poor. So poor, in fact, I had to abandon my recording of the call just to understand this worthless [***].

I received a call from a John Parker who claimed I had won $2.3M, a 2012 Mercedes, and $30K in bonus cash. *But first*, I had to go to Radio Shack, CVS or Walmart to buy a $1000 "Winners Location Card."  Turns out no such thing exists.  I requested that they give me my prize without requiring me to put any money up front. After going around and around with this guy, he finally said, "F**k you!" and he hung up on me. A legitimate company wouldn't act this way. Don't fall for it!

I just won $850,000 and a Silverado just by making purchases at Wal-Mart, Price Chopper, Kroger, etc.  Nice Indian accent along with a very trained voice to assess our conversation.  876-529-2665 was supposed to be an Arkansas phone # according to my good news teller.  It's April 1 today but I guess he's unaware of April fools day or they just make him work anyway.  Be smart ladies and gentlemen!!!

Please be careful, especially seniors. I have never been so lucky in my life. For the last month and a half, I have received numerous calls about winning mega millions 3,500,000. The persons who contacted me all have Jamaican or similar accents. Each call the prize is different, the fee is different etc. The last call said a government agency had to give me a verification number and of course, you have to pay a fee. I asked for the name of the agency and indicated that if I had won millions why would I have to pay a fee to receive a gift. The persons who call are always asking if you received a call from someone else. I asked for a business number and said I do not pay out money for a gift and that it sounded suspect. These are the names and numbers that I was given to verify, but of course, I had no intention to follow up. If it sounds like a duck, walks like a duck, it is a duck. Don't fall for the okey- doke. Beware of these names and numbers; John Levee, Blackburn Clark, Michael Anderson and accomplices, 876-842-8675,876-373-0976,876-582-3263. The area codes are always 876. They are extremely persistent. This is a scam.

Just got a call myself from these people.  The number they called from was: 876-863-3690. I WON 1.75 million!  Isn't that wonderful?  This guys name was James Taylor.  He said I needed to go to Walmart or CVS for a Greendot Money Scratch Card in the amount of $250.  I asked why?  He said $500,000 would be paid by cash and that the rest would be deposited on the card.  So I responded that I could just go get a blank Greendot card then.  Oh no, the $250 would need to be pulled off first for the taxes and processing fees.  I told him that the taxes on 1.75 mil would be roughly $320,000 and that I would pay them with the winnings once it was in my accounts and not before  :).  He said ok, but the processing fees would run 250 at the least.  I told him I would come to their office to collect.  He said but we are in New York.  Well, hell, if I am gong to be rich, I can quit my job, LOL!  Then I paused as if thinking (was actually looking online).  He quoted me my address... a little disturbing, and said if I were to get the card, they could be at my home in an hour.  Told him I had to go to job number 2, so don't bother.  But that I would go to the National Lottery office in Louisville to pick up my winnings as that is where all large prizes for our area are to be doled out, he stated they could not have the money there.  I asked, "This is MegaMillions, right? I won $250,000 from you all two years ago.  That's where I have to go to claim my prizes."  The line was silent.  I told him to think about it and that he could call me tomorrow, but he better call my cell number.  He asked what it was, so I gave him the direct phone number to the Consumer Protection Agency in KY.
