My brother was approached in May and is still being contacted for money; Mr. Michael McGraff (213) 928-6824 x101 stated that he won 3.5 mil from Mega Million.  He took his rent money and gave this man $350; he was then approached by Jamaicans all over the country.  These people are good he sent Mr. Wyatt from Las Vegas another $500 he still has not got anything.  Now we are talking to someone name Bob Anderson who is Jamaican says he is from the bank that is going to pay AB the $850,000 and he needs $700 so AB can change the title back in AB's name from Mr. Wyatt who paid the fees for a Mercedes supposed that AB won.  Oh by the way Mr. Wyatt told Mr. Anderson that AB did not want the prize so he paid $700 for an $80,000 Mercedes.

I personally think that these guys are all in this together.  When asked Mr. Anderson why if AB won a prize does he have to pay for it. It is because Mr. Wyatt paid for everything to be put in his name.  What the Hell!!!!

This is a big scam that has been going on for years,  I am going to get the information to send the $400 to and give it to the police and try to report them.  By the way Mr. Anderson's bank operates 24 hours....
Wow his bank is not ran by the Federal Reserve also he says he is the Manager when you ask to speak to someone else.  DO NOT DEAL WITH ANY OF THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE TAKING YOUR HARD EARN MONEY.  LISTEN WHEN YOU WIN YOU DO NOT PAY EVER!!!!  BE CAREFUL EVERYONE DON'T BE SO QUICK TO GIVE UP YOUR MONEY.  THINK FIRST.

I knew the call was a scam. I played with them for a few minutes. I asked why they were calling on a "unknown number" if they are a company. mr. john phillips was calling from "mega million sweep stakes", I won 3.5 mil, they had my address but so does a lot of people who can read a phone directory online. We went on and I was to contact the ceo, mr. benjamin bush (they don't deserve capital's for their names) at 347-580-1225, which is a cell phone somewhere in NYC. They claimed I was born in 1931 and I was 79. WRONG....I laughed, then the walmart and cvs's were mentioned. I told them if I won, you have my address and to bring it. Then I told them if this is a scam, shame on you for trying to pick on an old woman. I said to forget my number and I'm calling the police and hung up... Please don't fall for this and have a great day    :)

I received a call from786-275-5013 on Sunday and left a message for me to contact him. I called the number and he instructed me to go to CVS or Walmart to get a green card for $500. He continued by saying that his people were in the area and for me to give them the green cared and exchanged I would receive a brief case with $500,000 and a new Benz with my choice of color. I told him ok that I would go to CVS to get the green card and he told me not to hang up the phone. I hung up the phone. He tried to call back at least 6 times but I refused to answer the phone. The next day, I received a call from 2026008646 from a women who identified herself with the Department of Consumers Affairs a non-profit organization. (Duh DCA is a government agency). She said some Jamaican Hackers got my phone number from a posting of winners of a lottery. She added that I had won a sizeable amount of money and that the taxes had already been paid on it. She told me to call 7024254871 which was the rewards company to find out how much I had won and to work with them on getting my rewards. She wasn't very intelligent women her story had more holes than a piece of Swiss cheese. I never called the number. However, a few hours later a call came in from 7024254871 but no one left a message. The next day another call from 7024254871 this time he left a message saying I won 5 million in cash and a Benz and to return his call to set up the logistics. I did not return the call. Have not heard from them since. My Dad taught me well by saying there is no such thing as free money.

People, please don't fall for this stuff. I received a call today (August 5, 2013) and decided to play along. They will tell you until they are blue in the face that everything is "100% legitimate" but it's false. I want "$5.5 Million and a Mercedes Benz in the color of my choice" as much as anyone, but these folks' job is to convince you and play you for a fool. Just trust that if you actually won millions, you would definitely know sooner than "within the past two weeks". And it certainly wouldn't be for "paying your bills on time" Bahahaha that makes NO SENSE! They will call you from some weird number and will most likely be African. Tell them the cops monitor your phone lines or just say hold on one second and call 911 on 3 way. [***] these punks! I pity those who have sent money. I hope the majority of people are like me where if someone asks you to pay a large sum of money, you do a little research before you screw yourself!

Received a Mega Millions call from Dr. Markus Langley "with a, k, that he stated" from Sarnia, Ontario.  Somewhat the same line:  you one the 4th level of the Mega millions prize winner of something like $900,000 us but they would help me convert to canadian and they would deliver in a metal briefcase.  Just go to CVS or walgreens and get a card for $500.  He made it sound like they were just driving around with the money ready to deliver immediately asking how long it would take me to get the card.  It caught off guard that the closest store was 200 km. away since that is where the closest american city is, Buffalo.  He original asked for my wife but since she was not there I became qualified to win.  I don't think she would have liked that.

He then had to check with his manager and I conveniently lost the connection.  I think they called back but no phone info came across on caller id.

Also, possible Jamaican like accent.  But I would assume possibly out of Michigan since they referenced Sarnia.

    Beware Canadians

Listen! What you do is play along with everything this guy with the heavy foreign accent tells you, because they all are professionals from different parts of Africa and some are from Jamaica. So when they ask you for the greed card numbers on the back give him real bank card number so when they take that amount of money you can tract them down and see how much he used, what he real name is and, where he coming from. Or you can call report and they can connect to you and this scams conversation and tract down everything about him. And if you do succeed in catching you earn double the money you were to be given.

i was at the store and i got a call from megmillions sweeptakes saying that my husband won 3.5 million dollars, 150,000 dollars and two cars a 2013 mercedes benz and a 2013 chrysler 200. He said all i needed to do is pay 150.00 dollars, but we had to put it on a green dot money pak card. Well i told them i only had 100 dollars and he said that would work. So he calls back and my husband gives him the 100 but then he says that there is a 1% tax on the 3.5 million, and that we had to pay another 350.00. I told him that i did'nt have that kind of money right now and he suggested that i do an overdraft on my checking account and tell the bank that it will be back in there in 30 minutes plus more. Then he ask me if that does'nt work that to use my pink slip from my car. that's when i knew that this crap cause i am not gonna go as far as an overdraft of my account. The guy use a name of mr. roberts his number is 876-461-3619 and he says he is ceo of the megmillions in nevada. we was lucky that he only got 100 dollars out us, it could of been much more. i think now i will have to get my number changed cause the jerk keeps calling me after i told him i will call the cops he does'nt.

Apparently I got the newest version. Got a message on my answering mach. Couldn't make out everything that was said (heavy accent), but I heard Publishers Clearing House, which I entered, and phone #1-876-503-5565. I called and was informed I had won 2.5 million, and a 2013 Mercedes Benz. I asked twice if this was for real. I could barely understand the man's words- foreign accent. After asking him to repeat himself numerous times another man got on the phone and introduced himself as David Flinstone. When I told him I didn't think this was legit, he stated, "You filled out a coupon for an extra chance to win with Publishers C. S. I said yes, online. He then told me the coupon was for MegaMillion the company he works for. He told me he would give me the number to Wells Fargo and account number to verify that 2.5 million was in the account waiting for transfer to me. What's really scary is when you called the number it was an automated recording just like a financial Institution would have. When I entered the supposed account number the recorded voice said the balance was 2 million 500 thousand. I was starting to feel a bit excited with the possibility that this could be on the up and up. Before I called him back, Flinstone called me back. He'd asked id I'd verified that the money was there. In the meantime while I was talking with him, my husband came back into the room shaking his head at me. My husband had looked up the Wells Fargo number up online and called them, and found out the 1-800-906-6493 was not their number and the account number was was bogus also-Of course. At this point Flinstone was telling me that I had to have a checking account with at least a 2,500 balance or I would have to open a new account in order for them to transfer the money into. My heart was sinking, but some part of me didn't wan to let go of that small possibility that I won some money. Money that could help me an my family soooo much. Then BAM, like an anchor being dropped in the sea my heart sank, and hope was gone. Flinstone wanted $1,000, he told me it was for a transfer and delivery fee, money, and the car. My husband also did a reverse check on the number on the White Pages online, the number the Faux MegaMillion  was calling from showed it originated from Kingston, Jamaica. Information and knowledge is key, ignorance hurts.

On 8/24/13 around 10 am I received a phone call from "Publisher's Clearing House" (which I am sure it was not really them) representative Frank Buckingham who stated I won 25 million dollars and and 2013 Mercedes.  I would need to go to Walmart go to first check out and ask for a Moneypack green dot for $300.00, call him back and he would meet me at the nearest Walmart to claim the money. In the meantime he claimed I would receive the money. He was going to go to the bank and deposit my money. Frank provided me a number of 707-666-9803.  I did call the number back and it went to him. He then called me back and asked if I was able to make it to the bank yet. My niece answered and said it sounded fishy and she was calling the police, at which point he began to swear at her "[***] you, you [***] idiot" multiple times. Frank provided me a code #jk52010 and advised me to call 1-876-404-7295 to verify my prize.
