Been having fun with these guys all day today. Every time they call, the number is different, but everyone's name is either John, or Charles. The numbers all say Jamaica, but whether they really are from Jamaica doesn't matter. The caller claims to be from California and his accent is definitely foreign. When I asked him to verify my address and other information (I certainly wasn't going to give it to them, and if they are going to be bringing me anything, they should know where I live.) the guy said their computer system was down and he couldn't get that info right now.  The idiot didn't even know my name.
Please don't fall for this stuff. Its probably a couple of brothers sitting in their parents basement in their underwear, making a living off all the gullible Americans.

My mother received a call yesterday from USA Mega Million that she was selected out of 550 people because of her good credit and she won $2m.  All she had to do was go to Walgreen's and buy a $500 cash card and they would come to her house with a "certified" check AND $300,000 cash.  My mother is 84 years old and quite naive but fortunately she called me and asked if it sounded like it could be true.  Silly Mom!  Well I spoke to Mr. John Baker, with a heavy Indian/Pakistani accent,  After I asked him several questions it became apparent this is a scam, he told me to "bug-off" (in very crude terms) and get off of his telephone line.  I guess he didn't like answering questions.  This group's telephone number is 530-661-8320 out of Woodland, California.  I am filing a complaint with the California Attorney General's office and the Internet Crime Complaint Center which is affiliated with the FBI  http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx .

I have been calling the scammers . So their managers call and say it is not a scam. I told them CVS did not have those kind of cards. Then they wanted me to wire money from western union to a place in South Carolina. Got an E-Mail showing check with my name on it signed by Merrill Lynch  LOL I sent them a text to have 5000$ wired to me first to prove that they weren't scammers. I not out any money Needless to say never heard anymore.

Michael Anderson  (876-884-8678) just called my cellphone. "You've won a million dollars and a white Mercedes." He told me that I had won, because I paid my bills on time and that my phone number had been picked at random. He asks what would do with my winning. I said pay off my house.  He then began to tell me that my prize and money would be delivered to me in Philadelphia, MS, and that he was calling to get my street address. I promptly said, ‘I thought you said you had my address, why do I need to give it to you again. Then I said, I don't live in Philadelphia. I than began asking him questions, he told not to waste his time, either I wanted the winnings or not. I then said, ‘you’re good’. He promptly said, “This is not a scam”. I don't need to scam you, I've been with this company for seventeen years and I make $32,000 dollars a month. I then asked him did he know who my attorney general was, because I was going to report him and his scam. He immediately said Jim Hood. I then asked if this company was registered with the BBB, he said “yes”. And told me to look them up. Then he began to give me a packaging code number for the car and check, the winning ticket number, the license plate number that would appear on the car, and the certified check number. Then he made and asks the proverbial statement and question, "there will be a deliver shipping fee of $255 and how and can I make a payment today?" I reminded him that I was unemployed. Quickly he said, “Because you are unemployed, the company will pick-up 99% of the deliver fee”.  Again, I said, I'm unemployed and I don’t have that kind of money. His statement was, “trust in the Lord, he’ll make a way”.  He then tried to get me to charge it to my credit card, I said no to that. He then suggested I get a loan from my bank. I said no to that as well. That’s when he became upset and I hung up. I just wanted to see how far he would go to get his money.

      concerned sister replies to LB
I have a sister who has supposedly won 5.5 million because of her good credit. Micheal Anderson got her to send him a check for $1,800 to which her husband promptly cancelled the check. So she sent a second check which her husband cancelled so she took a "different" rout and got the money to him. All of a sudden her bank credit cards were maxed out to which prompted a call to her. She called Micheal and he told her 3 times that the company was returning the amount to her cards. Each time the bank tried to retrieve the money a stop payment was applied. To which the bank cancelled the cards they called my sister and told her it was a scam. However, she does not believe anyone. Not her husband, not her kids, not me and not even her best friend. Now her husband has left her and she is waiting for Micheal to show up with her millions so she will be able to support herself. She also applied for a personal loan so she can send money to Micheal. What can I do to help catch this evil man and shut down this company please let me know. Living in Ca.

Just received a call from Thomas Bradshaw (702)347-4853 from Las Vegas.  He informed me that I had just won 3.5 millions and they will deliver it this afternoon with a new Cadillac--he had my address.  I told him I would be gone and he asked me to call when I get back.  I told him I would have my whole family here when I received it and he said that would be fine.  -

Was talking to a guy with a very strong accent calling from a  Kingston, Jamaica phone number.I was told I won 2.5 million from PCH (but changed to megamillions when I called him out on it) and I just needed to go get a western union to pay the rest of the taxes, the company already payed 99% of them gosh darn it. I just need to have the receipt for some reason or the bank would not take the check when they get here, but they would probably arrest me for a bad check. But he assured me it wasn't like "those green dot card scams, this is real!" Name was Peter Turehert, also JT Roberts. His story and $ amount he wanted changed consistently between a few phone calls.

I received a call from a "John Baker" he has been calling me for the last three days. I have not given him any money, but he keeps on calling. I will not give him money. I thought if you win you don't have to pay to have it sent to you. He says I need to send $500.00 to receive my prize and a new car MB. I am sad that people are so low that they will work on the elderly and the poor people.

I received a call while I was in Auto Zone telling me that I had won 350,000 and a 2014 Mercedes Bentz.  All I need to pay is $220.00 for the tax. They cover the other 3%.  The man asked me if I wanted to receive my car and money where the public knows (they could provide television to be there) or I could receive it privately. Darn I should have said televised.  They said that the US Marshall, Sheriff's Department, 2 representatives from their company and an attorney from their company would be present.  Also, after several phone calls, he told me that the vehicle would be delivered on a tow truck.  To make things creepier, I received an Amber Alert out of Addison, TX for a 2004 Mercedes Benz exactly at the same time I was talking and receiving calls back.  They told me to Western Union one-half of the money to a Michelle Reid St. James, Jamaica WI so they could deliver my car and release my money.  Supposedly Michelle Reid has to authorize payment through the Federal Trade Commission. He gave me 45 minutes to wire the money.

I goofed in typing.  The company pays 97% of the tax and I pay the other 3%.  I just do not understand the wiring of the tax to Jamaica.  Seems like that would go to the IRS.

Still at it. Phone number 876-461-3619. Said he was from publisher's clearing house. Left a message that kept breaking up and had a different number to call back. I'm amazed that people still fall for this crap!
