Selectyourgifts.com is the worst scam that I have come across. Well, maybe there are more, but these people got me. Apparently, they were sending me a $1000 gift card to buy stuff from their site. I was only going to pay $34.94.
I must admit that i acted without thinking. When I later went to their site, the only so-called gifts available were a bunch of cheap overpriced things that I can buy at the Dollar store!
The deal was that I have to pay the shipping costs which are highly ridiculous. Like, you can purchase a necklace at $20, pay the shipping cost of $ 7. The only problem is, they have no option to unsubscribe, and they will keep getting $34.94 from my account every month.
Anyways, I called them back after three weeks and they claimed that they had sent the gift card two weeks ago.I never received it.I do not know what to do.Someone should stop these people. Not only from getting my money, but from tricking innocent Americans. It is not fair.

Note: The person I spoke to is called Emmanuel and can be reached at 1877 855 4547. Their alternative customer service number is 1 877 855 1115.
Thank you.

Their whole business model is built on fraud.  They took your money, and did not deliver the promised "gift card", which as you found has little value anyway.  You attempted to unsubscribe, which they blocked by providing no way to do so.  Their charges are fraudulent, through obtaining your account number through deception.

Immediately contact your bank to dispute their fraudulent charges, and close and block the account due to fraud to prevent additional fraudulent charges.  You can dispute charges against your checking account under FRB Reg. E, or against your credit card under FCBA.

Thanks. I did that. I hope they stop. I am wiser now and am asking everyone to beware of these people. I can never give my card information to anyone else now even if they said that I  had won a trip to Venus.American Auto Benefits was on me the other day and I confidently told them off. I learnt from my mistakes!

I was given $500.00 by Dave Menagay Hyundai in Rainbow City, AL. as a teaser to get me into their storefront. I knew before I left that it was most likely a trick to get me to spend something for nothing. ALWAYS REMEMBER, "IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS ,leave out the word  probably, becaues is- is always the case. BOTTOM LINE, NOTHING IS FREE!!!!

thank you so much for this rating site!! I had at least five telephone calls from this agency on yesterday(11/08),they laughed as they told me "I was a $1,000.00 gift card winner!!" The lady also told me I'd won several magazine subscriptions that I'd only be obligated to pay $3.85 each month for(60-mo.sub.).She reluctantly(when asked) told me I'd have to pay shipping for each item I purchased w/giftcard from the "selectyourgifts.com" website!!! I'm so over these phonies...and wish the BBB would find a better way in stopping this mess. Thank you again for warning others, especially me.

This scam is going around Indiana now. I got a 500 dollar "gift card" for going down to a local dealership, Community Ford in Moorsville IN , and seeing if I won $10,500 on a debit card, a MacBook, $150 cash, or gold collecters coins. Was funny from the get-go. Notice the "gift card" was not a selection but I was assured I was the winner of one of the 4 items listed. Haha riiiiight! Lucky for me I researched "SelectYourGifts.com" before I did anything.    One thing is for sure I will never do business with anyone who uses this kind of gimmick for any type of "PROMOTION".     Seems to me this behavior only chases away educated consumers.

I just got a call from Sean Owens at ext 1287, Sean was calling to let me know I had just won a $1000 shopping spree. He was going to send me a package with the information about the $1000 shopping spree, all I needed to do was give him my credit card number to pay for the shipping. Once I received the package I could log onto selectyourgifts.com and enter my user id and password and I could begin spending my $1000. I was very leery form the beginning, I asked him for the website, I got onto Google and searched selectyourgifts.com and it pulled up select your gifts scam. Glad I asked!!

    Someone please stop these people!!

If you go to the site just type in sample for certificate number and sample for pin number and it will let you in.

Yep, the Select Your Gifts scam is making the rounds in Orlando. Most recently Airport Chrysler Dodge Jeep has hired some scumbag marketers. They are attempting to lure in customers with the option of winning a $10,000 pre-loaded Visa card, a Mac iPad, $150 cash in hand or $500 holiday gift card. Guess which prize EVERYBODY gets? Yep, the gift card since it isn't worth the plastic it's made of. (Actually it's not even made of plastic, just a paper certificate.) I'm put off Jeeps for awhile. I'll take my business someplace that doesn't need to scam people just to get them to look at their merchandise. Some people just have no soul. By the way, did I mention "DON'T DO IT, IT'S A SCAM!"? Well it is. Don't say I didn't warn you.
