Selectyourgifts.com is the worst scam that I have come across. Well, maybe there are more, but these people got me. Apparently, they were sending me a $1000 gift card to buy stuff from their site. I was only going to pay $34.94.
I must admit that i acted without thinking. When I later went to their site, the only so-called gifts available were a bunch of cheap overpriced things that I can buy at the Dollar store!
The deal was that I have to pay the shipping costs which are highly ridiculous. Like, you can purchase a necklace at $20, pay the shipping cost of $ 7. The only problem is, they have no option to unsubscribe, and they will keep getting $34.94 from my account every month.
Anyways, I called them back after three weeks and they claimed that they had sent the gift card two weeks ago.I never received it.I do not know what to do.Someone should stop these people. Not only from getting my money, but from tricking innocent Americans. It is not fair.

Note: The person I spoke to is called Emmanuel and can be reached at 1877 855 4547. Their alternative customer service number is 1 877 855 1115.
Thank you.

I sure am glad someone has brought this thing to light. I wondered what the deal was, but after I seen that you had to pay 5.00 for each item ordered plus shipping and handling. If they would let you take the money out of what you won I guess it would not be too bad. I have not looked at all the so called items to buy. Just how do they in all good concense do such a thing. Does anyone know how to get out of the contract, so to speak.

I just received a call from thes people. I spoke with Jay and he was so nice and inviting informing me about my $1000 shopping spree with selectyourgift.com.  He told me that my credit card company forward me to them.  I knew it was bogus because my bank wouldnt do that.  So I let hm go through his speech then the magazine poffers came in, then he had to transfer me to his supervisor Josh.  Josh wanted me to verify my card # that starts with a 4. So I started thinking wow i won $1000 shopping spree then reality sunk in. I went in circles with him about why do I need to give him my credit card # he said as long as I'm not giving him the 3#'s on the back. I eventually told Josh i dont have $1000 to shop now so im not missing anything with this offer.  I proceeded to tell him he can try calling another person because im not interested.     The number appeared on my caller id as 423-586-8167 so I let it go to voicemail and this is the mumber connected to Jay and that so called supervisor Josh 877-546-8168.  Be careful people never give your credit card number to someone who draws your name out of a  hat....

I was contacted by a woman named Holly Atkins saying my credit card company selected me to win a $1000.00 online shopping spree along with the 60 month magazine subscription to 6 magazines. I was taken at first and gave them my CC # which they promised was just for verification, that night I saw a charge on my card for $50! I called my CC immediately and disputed the charge. I had Holly give me the customer service number before I gave her any initial information; I called the number and told the company I wanted to receive my $1000.00 shopping spree, this is the first time they gave me the website. I jumped online and goggled it finding all kinds of information about a scam. They refused giving me my shopping spree without a CC #, and had conveniently lost all the information I had given them previously. I feel silly that I fell for it, we just need to remember two things: 1. if it seems to good to be true it probably is. 2. If you "win" something and they need your CC# to process it is most likely a scam. Thank goodness for the internet or these people would be able to take many more peoples money.

I just received a $500.00 gift certificate for Selectour gifts. It was from watching a demo in my home for a vacuum. I have read all these complaints. What is it that really makes this a scam? If I use this GC, one time for the total amount of the GC, pay the one time PH fee of $5.00, how does the company scam after the delivery? Please help me in deciding what to do.
