Selectyourgifts.com is the worst scam that I have come across. Well, maybe there are more, but these people got me. Apparently, they were sending me a $1000 gift card to buy stuff from their site. I was only going to pay $34.94.
I must admit that i acted without thinking. When I later went to their site, the only so-called gifts available were a bunch of cheap overpriced things that I can buy at the Dollar store!
The deal was that I have to pay the shipping costs which are highly ridiculous. Like, you can purchase a necklace at $20, pay the shipping cost of $ 7. The only problem is, they have no option to unsubscribe, and they will keep getting $34.94 from my account every month.
Anyways, I called them back after three weeks and they claimed that they had sent the gift card two weeks ago.I never received it.I do not know what to do.Someone should stop these people. Not only from getting my money, but from tricking innocent Americans. It is not fair.

Note: The person I spoke to is called Emmanuel and can be reached at 1877 855 4547. Their alternative customer service number is 1 877 855 1115.
Thank you.

I have signed up for the magazines and the $1000.00 certificate.  This a scam.  I did ask if I could order anything from the internet and was told yes.  They have a lot of junk to pick from.  I have signed up now and would like to know if there is anything I can to do get out of this scam.  I was stupid and did not research before I agreed.  I got the certificate and went to the site and there is a bunch of junk that you can get at the dollar store.  DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS WHAT I CAN TO TO GET OUT OF THIS SCAM OR IS IT TO LATE FOR ME.

I just got the same call. I wasted my time, listening to the whole spiel.  When he finally got to the part where he asked me how I was going to pay the $8.95 for my "certified package" I said. Hold it right there. When you win a legitimate sweepstakes, they will NEVER ask you for ANY money. Take me off your list and good BYE!  Arghh! hate..hate..hate..

Boy those of you who were smart enough to check out this major scam were thinking.  I was gullible and fell for it. I figured it out too late.  Others have already asked --- is there anyway to get out of this fraudulent scam?  Contacted BBB - no reply yet. Glad I found this site. Thanks for the info.

I'm the fool too. These people contacted me this morning, usually I never fall for this kind of thing online but I fell for it over the phone haha. I canceled my credit card after they took 19.90 from me plus 4.95 "benefit" money whatever that is. Sent them an angry email and threatened to go to the attorney general. Does anybody know of any other way to get them off our backs?

On the certificate it says that "If you cannot get online or if you do not have a credit card you may order a printed catalogue & then you may order through the mail & pay by money order. To oreder a printed catalog please send a check or money order for $4.95 to: Select Your Gifts, Attn: Catalog, 3560 Investment Lane #101, Riviera Beach, Florida 33404. Enlose your name and address and we will mail you a catalog. SO if you only do money orders then as long as they send your stuff your good and dont need to change your bank info.

We got a call that we would win this shopping spree for just evaluating a product. Sounds too good to be true. We asked many times if they are trying to sell us something and the person on the phone kept saying no. Well a Silver King Vacuum cleaner salesman shows up trying to sell us a $3800.00 vacuum cleaner. Our shopping spree is this scam for selectyourgifts.com. What a waste. Don't fall for these scams.

Thanks for the input. I just received a call about an air cleaner that will turn out to be a vacuum cleaner. Now that I know that the $200.00 shopping spree will cost me money and suck me into a scam I will turn them away at the door.
