I don't appreciate getting a call from an "interviewing" company, since I'm unemployed, I thought it was a REAL interviewer.......how tacky to scam people in need of a job.........why not use the word "survey", because ultimately that's what this company is.  Besides  other choice words I could think of to call them!

A company I've never heard of calls me repeatedly from a number (supposedly) in New Jersey, where I do not live.

    Can you spell S-C-A-M?

    very annoyed
I've been getting more then 3 calls from this company a day. That is harassment! It starts at 9am and goes until 9pm. I've received as many as 7 calls a day from this company, time to report this company in.

    Annoyed
BR Interviewing has called me 3 times in 2 days. I finally answered. Midway through politely asking the guy to remove me from their call list, he hangs up. Jerk...you called me! Get a real job that doesn’t entail repeatedly calling people at night and annoying the heck out of them.

Just called a bit ago.  It's almost 5:00 pm here.  We should be either at work or on our way home.  But we're retired and we're here.  Still didn't answer.  Never answer scam calls.  Don't care what they call themselves.

Just so everyone knows, the federal Do Not Call list does NOT apply to research calls. The best way to stop getting calls from an interview company is to either: 1. block the number through your phone or phone company 2. ask the interviewer to put you on the company Do Not Call list.
The reason for the brief moment of silence is sometimes a computer automatically routes the calls and it takes a second or two to connect to an agent.
Chances are, if you are patient and wait a moment there will be someone on the line. If not, just hang up.
Yes, these calls can be annoying, but these interviewers are REAL PEOPLE. Please keep that in mind. The job is not the best, but at least they are trying to earn a wage and have put in the work to get a job. Many people do not have the chance to do so, or just choose not to. These interviewers are trying to earn a paycheck to pay for someplace to live, for food, education, or to take care of their families. If you are not interested in surveys, or receiving calls, that is fine and understandable. Just treat interviewers as you would want to be treated, be polite, and give the company a little bit of time to make sure your number is completely removed from their lists.

    Text from BR Interviewing
I got a text them with the option to take a survey via a link or get a call in 3 days. It also slowed me to opt out which is what I chose. When I did that, the response came back from BEACON RESEARCH LLC which is what the BR apparently stands for. I looked up both companies and they are a legit survey company. I don’t why they wouldn’t use Beacon Research as their name as it’s more direct and may get a better response.

No idea why people are so bitter on here though. It’s a legit job and I did something similar back in college. The auto dialers are what causes the “dead air” a lot as it doesn’t connect to the company as quickly as it should. When you call thousands of people/day you can’t do it manually. I’m waiting to see if they honor the opt out before passing judgement.
