    They have called several times (according to my wife), but today we received a post card with all the information regarding URGENT & TIME SENSITIVE INFORMATION, blah, blah, and I initially thought it was from the car manufacturer and/or dealer, but I found nothing as to whom it was from!

    I called the number and when he stated "United Auto Defense", I asked him what his company was about and he proceeded to explain....at which time I interrupted him and told him we had a 5 year warranty (car is 2013 Toyota), so I informed him i was not interested in his services...and hung up!  I have now blocked  the number.

      I checked on United Auto Defense and they have a A-rating with the bbb. My car broke down last month and was fixed as agreed in my contract... After reading your comments I called United Auto Defense and they DO NOT OUTBOUND DAIL....they assured me that it is illegal to do so and they only accept inbound calls. My dealership also highly recommended them. Extremely happy to have there program.

        Do not believe anybody posting here that they were satisfied with United Auto Defense.  The company is a scam company, run by ex US Fedilis employees.  It is located in St. Charles, MO, but uses a GA address so the BBB in St. Louis doesn't give them an "F" rating.  They do not give back refunds and intentionally misrepresent advertising to consumers.  Please do not get fooled by these crooks....

          They do give back refunds.  I just got my refund.  And they were very professional about it.

            I've been trying since Jan 2017 to get my mother back her money and I haven't heard anything from them.  Their toll free number (1-800-272-1512) doesn't work.  Rings once then goes busy.  $3800 possibly down the drain.
            I've filed a complaint with the GA BBB and will file one with the GA State AG as well.

          They have companies in both states their not just using a different address.  And they do give back refunds.  I just got mine.

            This response is highly suspect. If you’re happy with the service, seems unlikely that you would be Google searching them about scams.

          I agree with you I have called 4 time during the last 4 moths trying to get my refund. They said I am a priority customer, that they are going trough changes, bla, bla, bla....NO CHECK YET. If I were you I would NOT buy a vehicle protection plan from this company: UNITED AUTO DEFENSE!

        I do not they are legitimate  you are not  telling the truth. I have had a bad experience in the past and just felt uncomfortable during their sales pitch. DON'T DO IT

        You are so full of crap it's coming out your ears. You are definitely a weasel or a lurker for the company because UAD *IS NOT* BBB accredited. Further, they are not A- rated either.         Furthermore, they *DO* outbound dial and I have telephonic proof, as I'm sure others do as well. Ask any criminal if they did the crime and they will tell you they didn't. It holds no validation for me that YOU say they told YOU that it is illegal for them to call outbound, so they don't! BULL CRAP!!

          2 months after cx when I find out I was misinformed about what they covered cx waiting on refund for 2 months. Do not go with this so called company. Scam

      Same for me. We have a 10yr/100K mile warranty, and I have just passed the 2 yr mark. How can I need extended coverage? I told the woman that and she said I did;t need to yell over her. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
