I received a TSB notice for my new Toyota that looked very much like the real TSB's sent out by the manufacturer.  I called the 1-800-718-4228 number and it took a long time for them to answer which first raised my suspicion.  The women who answered needed to ask if I bought the car new or used and then had to ask what model it was.  At that point I asked her if they had any relation to Toyota and she went into a speech about the importance of coverage after the warranty period and I hung up.  Definitely a scam from a company with a horrible reputation and you'll receive their mail notice if your not on the state/national DO NOT CALL list.

As PT Barnum once said "there's a sucker born every minute" and that was years ago so by now it's more like every 10 seconds. I don't know about you but I don't give my hard earned money away just because some outfit trolled and got my address and auto info from who knows where. If I have a question about one of my vehicles all I need to do is take it in to the dealer and ask a few questions from the service department folks. Think before you act people!!

i just did this two hours ago. After asking tons of questions the first of which was " how did you get my information "? I was told from the factory.  I stupidly fell for it and I'm not usually this gullible.  After calling customer service  caller said my deposit would be voided.  She said they do not want unhappy customers. We shall see!   Already called the bank and have appointed to contest the deposit I made. Also planning on canceling credit card immediately!  Do not trust them!

Received notice and called to have them remove me from their mailing list. I was informed that they can't do that. What the hell?! I asked and the guy told me that the mailings come from a marketing company, and when I asked if I could have the company's information he said he didn't know who it is. Very upset that they refuse to remove me from their mailing list.

They use postcards.. replies to This is BS
to get around the Do Not Call laws.  If you call them, they can legally pester you with telemarketing calls for the next 3 months.  They also know you're a sucker who fell for it.

I just got this scary looking post card in the mail from United Auto Defense. It says that my factory warranty is set to expire on 11/03/2015. That's funny... I just drove this car off the lot, brand new, with a 10yr/100k mile warranty less than 30 days ago!!

The vehicle alert notice smells so much like a scam that it's ridiculous. The corny bald eagle symbol on the upper left, the fact that there is no business address listed, the overly alarming hyped up wording: " vehicle alert notice"," extremely urgent and time sensitive". Vague general wording :" motor vehicle activation division. A stupid table that lists of various interest rates and says I am approved for 0%. If I ran the world I would shut down this business in a second.

    100% scam (SC)
This company is a 100% a SCAM!!!!! The people on the other end of the line are unprofessional and don't know the definition of customer service. You will never get your money back I tried for almost a year now and all they keep saying is they have to email some account service and they will refund you. LIES..LIES....LIES!!!!! They can't even answer simple questions without attitude and won't even answer a question that you would  ask a LEGIT COMPANY about. So save yourself some time and don't respond to them cause they are a bunch of fraudulent people who all deserve to be in jail!!!!!!!!

I received a notice from them stating my factory warranty is about to expire on my. 2015 benz.  I told them I brought the car 3 weeks ago and it only has 300 miles on it.  I asked whether he was part of Mercedes-Benz?  He said they work closely with mercedez as a private contractor.  I called Mercedes-Benz and they indicated they offer their own extended warranty and it usually conducted at the dealership office not by mail or by phone.

These people get their information from DMV because they had the wrong license plate number and the bottom of the notice indicated not affiliated with DMV, Dealer or manufacturer.  Beware.  I am still under warranty with Mercedes-Benzor 4 years.
