I caution any one that has a mortgage with Bank of America to be VERY CAREFUL! My dad and I share a mortgage with Bank of America, and Bank of America changes their billing address from time to time and if you do not receive an address change from them or you miss it in the mail Bank of America does receive your payments but now it is at what they consider to be the wrong location and this department holds your payment and will not forward your payment to the new billing address.

Then when you fall behind on your mortgage they foreclose on you! This is what happened to my dad and I had to file chapter 13 for him to keep his property! I make payments for my dad via online banking with my bank and my bank actually sent BOA a letter asking them to withdraw their foreclosure proceedings, cancel any late charges applied to his account and restore his good credit because my bank had proof copies of all the checks that went un-cashed.

They were sent on time but to the now wrong location because Bank of America had changed their billing address and unfortunately for us we did not receive a change of billing address notification this time, yes they have changed it before but we caught it that time. The request from my bank was refused! Why? My bank told me straight up that this is how Bank of America got to be so big! They deliberately change billing address from time to time and if you miss it for what ever reason Bank of America then forecloses because they don't receive your payments!

They receive the payments, but it's the wrong department and they just don't forward them! Proof? After chapter 13 was filed we received back one of the first checks that BOA claimed that they didn't receive, it was dated pre-foreclosure! They just flat held it until the chapter 13 was filed then sent it back. Had I not filed the chapter.13

BOA would have legally defrauded my 82 year old dad out the land he worked so hard for most of his life. If you have a mortgage with Bank of America "BE CAREFUL, BE VERY CAREFUL"! Check up on your billing address at least every six months. Thanks.

I have written several letters within the last 6 months or so and I can’t seem to get answers from anyone concerning the mortgage my husband and I have on our home that was purchased in 2005 with Countrywide as our lender and now with BOA as our servicer and Wells Fargo as our investor.
I don’t know where to start other than we have been trying to get a loan modification on our primary mortgage but no one can help us because we are not in foreclosure and we are not more than 2 months behind but now I just found out we are just over  $9000.00 behind on the mortgage.  We have an 80/20 mortgage which in the beginning was adjustable  rate with the 80 primary and I was able to get Countrywide Mortgage to put it into a fixed rate for the remaining life of the loan but just found out they also put another 15yrs onto the loan now its in a 45 yr mortgage.
The only thing Bank of America has been able to do for us is:
    a)    Leave the interest rate at 7.2%
    b)    Add the escrow on to the loan (we paid our own property taxes and homeowners ins)
    c)    Add the so called $9000.00 to the back of the mortgage (which I don’t believe is correct )
I was told by BOA that we don’t qualify for the HAMP program since our mortgage payments are not 31% of our income and at one point I was given a call saying they can drop the interest from 7.2% to 5% which was great but the next week I received a phone call saying the investor (Wells Fargo) did not approve it.
I am so frustrated with all the time and effort I am putting into this  as far as trying to get some help and feel like if we don’t go into foreclosure we will not get any help at all. I have even contacted

I have been with BOA for about 10-years and they took over $724 from me when they were changing their payment system.  I talked with several reps and they found the error in an old system but never sent my refund.  After several calls inquiring about my refund, the reps stop taking my calls.  When I got 2 months in the rear,  BOA would not let me pay my mortgage payments online.  So I sent them a personal checks. BOA held my checks for a month, then returned it to me with a foreclosure letter, stating that I was 90-days in the rear with late fees.   I have over $40,000 in equity in my house with 5-years remaining but BOA won't accept my payments.  Every time I call, I get a different story.  BOA is has started the foreclosure process and are treating me unfairly and unjust. BOA is robbing me of my home and my equity.

    America, we need help!

BOA placed my home in foreclosure, then accepted and posted a payment from me.  I did not know my home was in foreclosure because BOA had about $870 of my money posted in misc. I instructed them to post it to my monthly mortgage payment but they cashed about $400, then sent the $470 to me and later sent another $400 to me about a month later.  What is going on.  After that, they placed me in foreclosure and a few days later, BOA accepted and posted a payment.

Now their system say I am 4 months in the rear plus in the rear for April payment but April is not here yet. In reality, I am only 1month in the rear because BOA is still holding a cashier check in the amount of $655.00.  This all appears to be a scam to me. Now BOA has added thousands of dollars of legal fees and they wouldn't accept a payment without the thousands of dollars of legal fees although this was an error made by BOA.

Bank of America took almost $8,000 from my checking account for two mortgage payments that they were not entitled to take.  I have called them countless times and demanded that they put the money back into my account.  Checks are bouncing and $35.00 fees are hitting my checking account every time a check bounces.  They promised the money would be back in my account yesterday at the latest. Here it is 5/8 and they have not returned my money.  They took the money out on April 30.  So far I have $350.00 in bounced check fees.  From reading different complaints, I can't even imagine how long it will take them to reimburse me for all the service fees to be reimbursed to me.  I literally hate Bank of America.  I have been treated as though they could care less how their mistake is affecting my business and my life.  My house payment was originally with Countrywide and it was sold to Bank of America.  I have no idea how they expect to stay in business when they treat people this way.

TONI FROM MORTAGE AND LOANS WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND CONDESCENDING, AND SHOULD BE FIRED!!!.   She would not give me her last name as she said "I'm not required to do so".  I am 51 years old, and never have been spoken too the way she spoke to me on the phone from a service reputable organization.  BTW, if anyone is reading this from BOA, she gave the great people of South Carolina and their southern hospitality a very very bad name.  I understand that they deal with frustrated people on a daily basis, but I couldn't believe how she gave me the feeling that they were the customer and I was the business.   What ever happened to the the philosophy that the customer is always right?   All I was trying to do was get a check endorsed, and it took her manager to get me to the right department.   Colorado does not have any branches that I can go to to get a check endorsed from an insurance claim.  UNBELIEVABLE!!!!   I have to send my checks to have them endorsed to an address in California.  That's BS.  It's too bad you can't control who your mortgage company is.  Just when you thought it was some other company, BOA turns around buys your loan, and you have no control over that whatsoever.

We tried to get a loan modification back in July 2011. While in the process - the person in charge of our file stated "no negative reporting" would be submitted to the credit agencies until we can resolve the issue of getting our payments lowered or getting a "streamline loan" . We couldn't make our payments n they made us believe we would get a solution. After many phone calls n tons of faxing paperwork - by September - we still didn't have a solution. Then BofA sent this rep from a company called "Titanium Solutions" to fill out a "budget sheet" a bunch of paperwork to help us get the modification with All our outstanding debts, etc - FOR WHAT? BofA had our credit report already in July - no need for BS - all this time wasted so they could let us know - "no we can't helpyou"!!! All the phones calls - being transferred back n forth - no one seem to know a definite solution - never letting you speak to the same person - little did I know - they reported our defaulting in payments -

Until the NACA convention in Jan 2012 in Ontario - leaving in tears after being there close to 8 hours n "NO HELP"!!! Right before it was my turn to proceed to the final desk to speak to BofA rep - they sent me away. They told me to come back in Feb to the LA Convention. I did try again n no help again! The gentleman stated I should go back to my branch n talk to the mortgage officer.

I walked in n found out I was reported 3 late payments therefore no one could help with FHA nor conventional loan till 1 year later from the last late payment!

By this time October 2011 till the present I get notices in the mail stating "foreclosure proceedings" - I have ignored all correspondence - I thank GOD we r current in our payments n although I'm not happy with the 5.5% interests rate - I have 6 more payments more - than I will seek refinancing through another lender! No more business with BofA - I stopped my payroll direct deposit n switched banks!

I WOULD SUGGEST WE BOYCOTT BofA !!! LET'S STOP BEING ROBBED!

Contact the OCC (Office of Comptroller of National Banks) and file a complaint against them, you will get everything resolved! I had a modification that B of A tried to say I was never granted, but I had all the documentation and all the proof of timely payments. Once you file a complaint, Bank of America will stop your foreclosure and although it make take quite a while, they will correct your situation.

I lost my mother, father within 6 months,. I was in a car accident and in the hospital for 8 months.  My house is in foreclosure and BOA told me to sell the house because I owe $78,000 and I do not qualify for any program.  I asked about the equity 17 years they said I do not qualify for that either

I filed a Chapter 13 on a buisness back in 2010 May. My husband is not included in the bankruptcy because his name wasn't on the buisness. Because my name is on the house it had to go to Bankruptcy. Evedentially in July 2010 I missed a payment. I receive a monthly statment which never indicated there was a payment missed. I call every month and pay my payment no one ever said anything. I pulled my husbands credit report in July 2010 and July 2011 every payment was fine. I pulled his credit report in April 2012 and what shows up 30 days late for 4 months in 2012. (Aug, Oct, Nov, and Dec). I called BOA and they said we missed a pymt in July 2011 and I would need to send proof of payment to the Credit Dispute Department. I did this and requested a phone call. What I got back was statement of all my payments. No explaination saying actually your payment was missed in 2010 I had to figure that out myself. I called them to ask why this wasn't communicated at least to my husband. Answer is we can't contact you in any way. We can only report to the Credit Buearu (inconsistantly I might add. I found other months where because I thought I was making the payment for the correct month I wasn't and these should have been reported as 30 days late). They aren't interested in helping people just running a buisness. ****s to be us and thanks for nothing Bank of America "America right My husband was over in afganistan fighting for our country while I was going through the stress of a failed buisness. Thanks everyone for letting me vent because no one at BOA even cared.   I wasn't asking for a modification just to be a little understanding with the credit bueau no money involved.

Bank of America is so hard to deal with. No real person ever answers the phone. It takes all day to get someone. My account manager NEVER calls me back. If you owe them money they are all over you. If you ask why you owe the money you'll get a different answer every time.  We were on a payment plan for 6 months. We did it and we felt great. Now, 5 months after we are told we owe 1600. in their legal fees. All of this was to be included in the repayment plan. I am only allowed to talk to my account manager and she says I owe it. I had to pay 300. today in late fees from this period in time too. Again this was all in the payments on our plan. I have no rights and my account manager won't budge. Paperwork comes to my house and when I call they say oh that's not right. They are setting me up to fail. I only make so much money and I can't get the leaches off my back to just live! They are awful. Why is this being aloud to happen?. They get money from us and now they come to our homes and bleed us dry some more. Why? Where are the politicians who work for us? Why isn't someone stopping this bank from abuse?  This bank is evil and ran by evil.

I find it interesting that they were able to pre-approve me, have my closing set for July 31st, and then all of a sudden tell me on July 27th that I may no longer be approved.  I don't quite understand how this happened to me.  Now all of a sudden I'm not approved and I've already rented out my first house I owned so I am now stuck living with my parents.  I paid for an appraisal, an inspection, a sewer scope, paint for the new house, a dining room table, all of which I don't need now.  Nothing has changed since they approved me.  How are they allowed to do this?  I thought pre-APPROVAL meant you were approved.
