I'm job hunting... everytime my cell phone rings and I see a number with area code on it I get excited... decided to query the internet as to who is calling me... 877-671-1851... saw all these wonderfully positive postings... alas no job query... just more cell phone garbage... guess my efforts with the no call list are to no avail.. think this is bad... I was on Sprint's Military Plan... we were overseas for three years... supposed to keep my account in limbo until we moved back to the States... there are not supposed to be charges, but was taxed via New York State... kept having to call Sprint to have numerous charges and bills reversed... Sprint just doesn't get it...
Will leave Sprint when contract runs out... do you hear that Mr. Sprint CEO ?

Call Blocking is now available from our online account pages at sprint.com.
My Account>My Preferences>Limits & Permissions>Block Voice.
Using the settings on this page, you can control which phones on your account are capable of making outbound calls and establish a list of numbers that are blocked both for inbound and outbound calls.
You can block inbound and outbound calls for up to 50 phones numbers.
This should take care of those pesky sprint? (or whoever)telemarketers.
Sprint has a deal with a telemarketing firm to contact its customers about promotions and additional features. I get calls from this number all the time, and it's always the same Indian call center trying to sell me the same stupid things.
CALL THE NUMBER BACK, WAIT FOR THE PROMPT, AND PRESS '6'
This will remove you from their rotation.
It's no more complicated than that. You DO NOT need to add the number to blocked callers. You also don't need to assign it as a contact on your phone. Just stop the calls at the source. If, after doing what I suggested, you still receive phone calls from Sprint solicitors, then call Customer Care and ask for the Retentions department. Threaten to leave, they should make it worth your while.
For the record, i've been a Sprint customer for 6 years, and I used to sell phones for different carriers (AT&T, Alltel, Nextel, etc). I won't be switching carriers anytime in the near future, considering the competition's stance on data usage, the definition of the word "Unlimited", and their pricing schemes.
If the odd call from a telemarketer is enough to make you switch wireless providers, then good luck finding satisfaction with the other guys.
Go Here --> My Account>My Preferences>Limits & Permissions>Block Voice
On that page select your phone/name by clicking on that block & "save". You will then be prompted to select your options.
**Block only the following phone numbers for inbound and outbound calls**
Choose that one & put in this number that we're all bitching about! NO MORE CALLS! (I hope!! :) I just did it so we''ll see!
Do like what was mentioned above & go to your acct & block it & be done.
