I had never heard of WC *BUDGET SAVERS MNTH until it showed up as an automatic withdrawel from my account.  As bad timing would have it, I became preoccupied with family illness and subsequent funeral.  When I again found the time and energy to address this problem, I found out it's a company I NEVER heard of and they say I authorized it.  I NEVER authorize automatic withdrawels and I don't even use coupons, why would I request the services of a coupon clipping website?  I am reporting this to our local police for fraud and theft and any other agency I can locate.  I believe this may have been triggered by an internet purchase I made for "Aquabulbs" who, by the way, also ripped me off.
WC *BUDGET SAVERS MNTH broke into my account and stole 19.99 from me for 9 months.

I am so HAPPY I was at my computer when these people called and was able to Google and find this site.  My husband purchased Phoenix Suns tickets and that is how they got our information! They are PUSHY representatives.  My husband used his own personal credit card to purchase the tickets-one that I am not authorized to purchase on, I told them that and they said that it was okay and I could give them my credit card information.  I had to tell them four times: I was not authorized and I did not want to use my personal credit card.  PUSHY, PUSHY, PUSHY.  DO NOT GET SUCKED INTO THIS!!

Why is ths company even still in business? I recieved my packet and was charged the amount of $29.95 2 days later instead of having a 2 week period in which to call to cancel before being charged. This company is such a scam spread the word budget savers is budget stealers!!

This telemarketing company, I used to work for. Its called Quality Resources and its located in Clearwater, FL. People order products from infomercials and their information is sold in the form of a business lead to budget savers. At that point, your telephone line that the original order was placed from gets thrown into a "dialer" along with about ten million others for the entire country and it begins dialing, the fast talkers start jabbering, and people begin to be suckered into scams by promises of "gasoline vouchers" in a time when the price of gas is evermore on the rise.
This company makes about $200 on average per unfortunate soul and apparently its all completely legal the way they do it. I hate that I worked there but Im grateful for the knowledge that will keep me from ever ordering anything from off the TV.

The best thing to do is report your card lost, so the bank issues you a new card #. At that point, cut your losses, they may be too insignificant.

    Budget Savers Rep.
I used to be a rep. until i was fired for low sales. Basically all you did get scammed duh lol but the way they get you is by recording the call and telling you that it will be billed automatically for $29.95 if you don't cancel to the card with the last 4 digits XXXX. So basically they have you on a live recording agreeing to those terms. They tell you that and you still give up your card # ?!?? Must have really wanted those gas vouchers right?, too bad you never get them. I don't know anything about the cancellation process unfortunately just because i was a sales rep ( wish i did though ) but i would assume by Budget Saver's ethics it would be a pain in the ass to cancel. I only lasted there a month, the more i learned about the company the more disgusted I grew. The pay was amazing though. Those reps you were talking to are making 750-900 a week. and those verifiers are making 800-1500 a week. All that money just to read a 2 minute script 200 times a day. Freakin middle schoolers could do it

The best thing to do is what Jones said. Go to the bank to cancel and get a new card. You got scammed, your not going to get your $30 back, they have recordings of you agreeing to the terms of automatically billing your card. Cut your losses, take it as a learning experience, and for the love of god never buy anything off of TV again.

Btw everything they do is legal, not moral of course but technically legal. They have been in business for almost 20 years ( like 17-18ish years ) which is astonishing because most telemarketing places get shut down by the gov. within a year and a half. So if your thinking about taking legal action you might as well forget about it. They hired a fed around 10 years ago who told the owner how to modify the script to make it legal. This place will never get shut down, probably smartest scammers around lol. Like I said you got scammed, you'll never get that 30 back. Cut your losses and.get a new card

I ordered a Schticky off the internet and through that those losers got my information. When they called I initially thought they were from the Schticky company and after much persuasion I agreed to the deal. I did ask several times whether there was an option to opt-out and they made it sound as if this was an automatic trial that came with my purchase and I could not opt-out. I was then transferred to the verification department where they asked me to repeat my credit card number to them. I refused and he got very mad and I told them to just send me what i had ordered and NOT anything extra. They then hung up on me. They better not try to charge my card as I did not authorize the transaction. I also cancelled my credit card immediately after.

I really think alot of people here are [***] [***] and don't understand what a trial is. You always have to call and cancel. They are upfront about that on the phone and even give you the cancellation number over the phone. If you don't cancel that's your fault. That's what I did on the 8th day. I was promised $100 in gas vouchers but only got $50... but for the $1 i spent i aint complaining

When I called budget savers number it rang 4x n then hung up. These ppl r scam artists n so r the idiots at tummy tuck customer service. They only have the one # to give me to call n cancel budget savers n a bs website. I sent a cancellation request through email. If that doesn't work, my lawyer will be getting involved!!

After subscribing to Budget savers, I attempted to cancel after the first month.  Unfortunately, there did not seem to be any record of their customer service number.  My only options were to attempt cancelation through "Lisa", both by asking for the customer service number & by sending an email to them.  Still I feel unsure as to whether or not my cancelation notice has taken effect? I have spent over an hour attempting to do this! Never have I had so much difficulty attempting to cancel a service or product and I still don't know if it has taken effect!

Immediately contact your bank to dispute all charges as frauduelnt, and block the card number or close the account, to prevent recurring fraud.  Your bank should be able to reverse at least 60 days of charges, under FCBA or FRB Reg. E.

File fraud complaints with FTC, your state AG, and at www.ic3.gov

Contact the office of Sen. Jay Rockefeller.
