I fell into the trap, at first, of not recognising the DIGITALRIVER IRELAND SYDNEY CHARGE. It is the account charge process name used by AVG. Now AVG has proven over the last 4 years to be good computer security, but clearly their accounts process is not as smart when they fail to include the name AVG in the charge process.

      I just had the same experience I purchased AVG at a cost of $42.99 and the Anti Virus $19.00 Australian Dollars when I looked at my bank history I saw a charge of $19.00 for AVG and a charge for Digital River of $42.99 I was suspicious and decided to delete AVG they refunded my $19.00 and told me that Digital River is a different company, I don't know what to do next can you help me Please

        Yep, me too. Crooks as far as I am concerned. Never heard of them. Bank is investigating but had to cancel my account.
