I fell into the trap, at first, of not recognising the DIGITALRIVER IRELAND SYDNEY CHARGE. It is the account charge process name used by AVG. Now AVG has proven over the last 4 years to be good computer security, but clearly their accounts process is not as smart when they fail to include the name AVG in the charge process.

      28th August 2019 Digital River Ireland,SYDNEY debited $66.99 AUD from my account even though I had made no purchases through them- The description in my account was miscellaneous - go figure I have posted contact details for Digital River Ireland t for people like myself having difficulty in contacting them

    $349 taken out from my bank account today. Don’t know who he hell they are and never purchased anything from them. Went to the bank to cancel my card and asked for new one, waiting to hopefully get all my money back as I have a baby on the way :(

    I had $179.99 taken out of my credit account!!!!!! I had bought and signed nothing. After reading posted comments from above I now know it is AVG. For god sake in future please include the word AGV with digital river Ireland. Everyone knows AVG but who is Digital River Ireland?

    I had cancelled my AVG Subscription in Jan 2016. I had $139.99 taken from my account by Digital River Ireland back in November 2018 I immediately contacted my Bank and they made me forfeit my card which was later replaced. However imagine my surprise when I went to my account this morning and another $139.99 has been deducted. I distinctly remember ringing the Sydney Australia Office of AVG and telling them I no longer wanted to play with their product. Suffice to say I have cancelled another Card and will be expecting a refund in about 6-8 weeks.  Whoever is driving this bus you need to get you hands back on the wheel and your mind on the job.

    On 4th April 2019 you got access to my Westpac Bank account. I never gave you authority to do this and I demand a refund of $79.99 immediately. I have been to Wetspac and they have their dispute section finding how this happened. I want to known how you have access to my Bank account and I have never been a customer of your Company. I await your reply, if not I will report you as a scam

      You have not replied to my message I sent to you on 10th April where I stated you took $79.99 from you Bank Account without any authority from me. I demand an immediate refund of this amount and I am to going to report your Company to the Ombudsman. This is nothing but a scam and how can you operate when I see so many complaints From Bruce Paris. bruce.paris@hotmail.com
