I fell into the trap, at first, of not recognising the DIGITALRIVER IRELAND SYDNEY CHARGE. It is the account charge process name used by AVG. Now AVG has proven over the last 4 years to be good computer security, but clearly their accounts process is not as smart when they fail to include the name AVG in the charge process.

    Yep same. 22-11-2019. $179 taken from C/C without consent. Digitalriver Ireland Sydney. Looked up my account and I am covered until 2021.  Great but I didnt ask for it. Obviously they dont reply. Cancelled C/C so they get nothing more

    I have also had money taken out of my account that wasnt authorised.

    I have recently been harassed by avg to renew current anti bugging programmes in my desktop. Current to these programmes digitalriver ireland sydney appeared on my bank statement. I was not familiar with this name .Next month this digitalriver put another bite into my card ac; i cancelled this transaction and i am rooting out avg as time goes by. My view is that avg have tainted my computer with their hard sell activity or digitalriver have hooked into my account on avg's coat tails.
