I fell into the trap, at first, of not recognising the DIGITALRIVER IRELAND SYDNEY CHARGE. It is the account charge process name used by AVG. Now AVG has proven over the last 4 years to be good computer security, but clearly their accounts process is not as smart when they fail to include the name AVG in the charge process.

    I did not update or upgrade my AVG secure....and have not done so for a year. My AVG secure settings are not automatic.  I have never before seen 'DIGITALRIVER IRELAND SYDNEY AUS' appear on my credit billing.  I watch my credit billing very closely because I am on Welfare.

      Ive just received my bank statment from the commonweath bank . Digital river ireland sydneyhas billed me on the 30th march 89.99 30TH march 19.99 ive never heard of them. My husband just passed away and im on welfare  please help

        This is an Anti Virus Software provider, they trade under different names to the name that appears on credit card statements. You may have an auto pay set up for payment once a year. Check your Anti Virus software, you may find this is why you are being charged.

    I have just realised that $90.19 has been taken out of my bank account on the 6th July and I don’t even have a AVG account or even a computer to have any anti virus for it that’s a lot of bloody money to be taken out of my account not bloody happy at all..I want my money back 😡

        28th August 2019 Digital River Ireland,SYDNEY debited $66.99 AUD from my account even though I had made no purchases through them- The description in my account was miscellaneous - go figure I have posted contact details for Digital River Ireland  for people like myself having difficulty in contacting them

      Hi Stuart, I too have a charge appear on my a/c for $46.15 and have no idea what it is. Just in case I'm suffering amnesia, what were the 2 Microsoft products that you purchased? Thanks

    i have a charge of $139.69 on my credit card. i need an invoice as this is for my company. i will also be contacting AVG and cancelling any products i have with them this is a very shady way to do business. my lawyer has been notified and unless i receive satisfactory response today, the matter will proceed.

    Yes I was offered 60day free of Premium AVG.  It stated nothing would be taken from my bank until the 60days expired. Already on day 1 only a tiny amount came out but why say it was free if it isn't. Have never seen the name Digital River Ireland Sydney before until it appeared on my bank statement.

    I have had an amount of money taken out of my credit card account for a e-mail address that no longer exists.  All I would like is a phone number for this company so I can cancel this account that takes money for no reason.  If I do not get a response I will call Consumer Affaires.  Thank you.

    Just had $89.99 taken from my debit account, i never ordered anything, as i'm on the age pension that was my food money for next 2weeks so put it back into my account, what is happening here please explain.

    I had 102.?? taken from my credit card account towards the end of July.  I phoned the bank cancelled my credit card and when I got my statement yesterday 23/8/18 find that 156.?? - I think that was the amount taken from my credit card account   6/8/18 as do not have statement to hand. I am going on 75 and want it back in my account or I will go to consumer affairs. Thank you
