I fell into the trap, at first, of not recognising the DIGITALRIVER IRELAND SYDNEY CHARGE. It is the account charge process name used by AVG. Now AVG has proven over the last 4 years to be good computer security, but clearly their accounts process is not as smart when they fail to include the name AVG in the charge process.

I discovered last year this 'digitalriver ireland sydney' is the account charge process name for avg computer security. I have tried many times to cancell/unsubscribe to avg online and only now i have recently received two emails stating 'subscription cancelled'...Then another email stating 'subscription renewed'....I have not attempted to renew or have anything else to do with avg except to try and cancell.....Find today that... On 07/09/2018  $53.99 has been taken again from my bank account....Previous to that was $81.99 taken on the 07/09/2018.  I am a pensioner and cannot afford these surprise debits.  What more do i have to do?  Is there a contact phone number for this company??

You should say who you are before you deduct money and give some warning. I didn't order any product from you.

They should supply an invoice for every credit card deduction. I am having the same problem. I purchased Avast Antivirus for $89.99.Four extra unsubstantiated charges, from DigitalRiver, have appeared on my credit card statement.I am going to get my bank to investigate.I can see that I will have to cancel my credit cards & renew them with different numbers.

I am taking this to the police. I got done for $59.99 from my credit card account without any knowledge of having made any purchase from AVG aka Digitalriver Ireland Sydney.  This is a total scam and my advice to all of you is to go to your bank and report this scam.

I have had $99.99 deducted off my credit card same as above after i refused to renew my subscription to AVG, at no stage did i give authority for this amount to be deducted and I have never signed up to an auto renew subscription.   I received many emails from AVG warning me that my subscription will expire soon and then again once it had. requesting me to make payment. It seems when i did not make payment they have taken it without consent for a service i do not require.

I had a change from this and it turned out to be from Microsoft. I had purchased an online licence from them for Office and for some ridiculous reason, it appears as Digital River Ireland.
