Ashley Furniture in Frisco, TX -- Please do not buy from this company, they do bad business, the managers are down right nasty and mean. I placed an order on 5/11/07 for 5 pieces.

I was told it would be delivered in 14 days. On the day it was suppose to be delivered, no one showed up but I figured since it was a holiday, it would be the next day. The next day when no one showed up, I called the store and asked when it was to be delivered.

After getting shuffled back and forth to a bunch of rude people, I was finally told 1 piece of my order was on backorder until the end of July. Their policy apparently is that if one item is on backorder, they will not ship the rest unless you call and tell them to ship the rest of the stuff. They NEVER even called me to tell me that it was on backorder.....I had to call them.

So I decided to go into the store today and talk to a manager.....I shouldn't have wasted the gas and my time. He did not want to hear anything I had to say, told me my business was worthless and called me a B***H! I did not do anything to warant the kind of treatment I got from them, I kept my cool, did not raise my voice or anything.

So please, do not buy from them.....I work in customer service and I have never been treated so badly. No one deserves that...they do not care about the customer at all. All the want is your money....after you place the order, they drop the ball and could care less. All this heartache could have been avoided if only they would have called me to tell an item was on backorder......it was that simple.

I purchased a bedroom suite and 2 recliners from Ashley Furniture on June 17, 2007. At purchase time, it was promised to me that I would have my furniture delivered by July 28, 2007. I thought this was an extremely long timeline to receive my furniture, but agreed with it due to the history that I have with Ashley Furniture. It is now August 9th, and I still have not received my furniture. After calling the warehouse several times, my husband has had the phone slammed in his face, a very rude customer service representative (Nicole), and an arrogant "manager" (Brock?) that was unwilling to help the situation any, just to name a few incidents.

After no resolution and frustration from the warehouse, my husband and I went to the Ashley Furniture store that we purchased our furniture from and talked with the manager on Saturday night, August 4. He was unable to help us that night and promised to call us with some resolution. We have been playing cat and mouse over the phone with Amanda and Rick Doyle and still (August 9) no resolution or help from Ashley.

I have purchased at least $25,000 worth of furniture from Ashley Furniture over the last 5 years. Since this incident, I have made the decision to never purchase from Ashley again. On Monday, I plan to seek legal counsel and contact the Better Business Bureau for advice, and hopefully, then, I can get this issue resolved.

I have been reading hundreds of complaints today about Ashley Furniture and am very worried. I purchased a Leather Living room set on Jan 1, 2007 delivery date was set for Jan 22,2007 I received a call from them to change the date to Jan 24, 2007....3 days after that call I have received another call...1 piece of the furniture is on back order!!! When I went to the showroom to pick out this furniture I specified I do not want to purchase anything on backorder please check to make sure you have this...the sales lady went to check and said YES we have it and will be delivered! That was a lie! I believe ashley furniture steals money from their customers...they take your money and do not deliver the goods!! there must be a thousand complaints online regarding the same complaint that customers say "I bought furniture and Ashley did not deliver it" or after months of waiting for it "The furniture is deliverd damaged"! I am beginning to think they just sell customers the "same furniture" and deliver and redeliver the same pieces to everyone...reselling the same exact pieces that everyone keeps returning ....that is if they ever even receive it.....

How does Ashley Furniture stay in business.  I have just had a horrible experience with them and it is not over yet.  Once they have your money you are HISTORY to them.  I also think it is deceictful to have their policies on the back of the receipt.  You don't get that receipt until you pay your money so you can't even read them.  If I had read their policies I would have never made a purchase there.  They also expect you to accept a repair on furniture you just got instead of ordering a new one.  I don't want any of their furniture now. I wrongly assumed I was dealing with a reputable company.  I will never make this mistake again.  My battle is not over yet, but if it does not turn out satisfactory I will do everything I can to make people aware of this dispicable and deceitful company.

I purchased a sofa love seat and a recliner from Ashley (Sonoma Galaxy imn March of 2007. The sofa and recliner is peeling. The extended warrant won't cove the repair. The salesman when I purchased the furnitue stated the pieces were 100% leather I now have found the leather sofa to be only 45% leather.

We purchased furniture from Ashley in Dec 2012 and your situation is exactly as ours. After 2 months the recliner began to discolor and my dining room table began to chip. We had Ashley to come out and access the problem. They took pictures. Afterwards, we received a phone call from Ashley stating that we need to contact the extended warranty (Guardsman) we did. A week later we received a form from Guardsman to complete with details of our problem. We did and a couple weeks later Guardsman sent us a letter stating that this warranty plan did not cover our problem. WE ARE IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a leather sectional in January 2008.  My sofa caved in on the right sign and tore behind the recliners on the left side.  Customer service sent a service tech out to replace cushions and repair tear on 9-18-08.  The leather is already tearing again behind the recliners and the cushions have already caved back in on the right side.  I have called and sent emails, only to be ignored.  I either want a replacement of a different sofa or my money back!

Ashley Furniture in kissimmee, Florida -- Please do not buy from this company.  When we bought the furniture they treated us so nice and with respects they even advise us to guy insurance and told us insurance would cover any damage.  after a year the coffee table started to peel so we called the ashley furniture to tell them what is the problem.  they said they the insurance wont cover on used furniture.  we told themwhy we want to buy insurance on a furniture if we are not going to use the coffee table. we paid $200 for insurance that we couldnt use.  when you go in their store they welcome you and after you leave they tell you we got you.

So please, do not buy from them.....I work in customer service and I have never been treated so badly. No one deserves that...they do not care about the customer at all. All the want is your money....after you place the order, they drop the ball and could care less.

You have obviously never had to deal with these people! either that or you work for them. If they would just stand behind their furniture they would have a very positive future!  When you purchase what you think to be "high quality" items and you pay that kind of money for them, then you expect to get what you pay for. I gave them a second chance and that was a big mistake!!  I think if you don't know what you are talking about then maybe you should just keep your mouth shut!!!!
