Ashley Furniture in Frisco, TX -- Please do not buy from this company, they do bad business, the managers are down right nasty and mean. I placed an order on 5/11/07 for 5 pieces.

I was told it would be delivered in 14 days. On the day it was suppose to be delivered, no one showed up but I figured since it was a holiday, it would be the next day. The next day when no one showed up, I called the store and asked when it was to be delivered.

After getting shuffled back and forth to a bunch of rude people, I was finally told 1 piece of my order was on backorder until the end of July. Their policy apparently is that if one item is on backorder, they will not ship the rest unless you call and tell them to ship the rest of the stuff. They NEVER even called me to tell me that it was on backorder.....I had to call them.

So I decided to go into the store today and talk to a manager.....I shouldn't have wasted the gas and my time. He did not want to hear anything I had to say, told me my business was worthless and called me a B***H! I did not do anything to warant the kind of treatment I got from them, I kept my cool, did not raise my voice or anything.

So please, do not buy from them.....I work in customer service and I have never been treated so badly. No one deserves that...they do not care about the customer at all. All the want is your money....after you place the order, they drop the ball and could care less. All this heartache could have been avoided if only they would have called me to tell an item was on backorder......it was that simple.

I never thought I would see so many complaints about this garbage company, it is so crazy to see how they are still in business, less than 3 years ago I bought about $7,000 from them in furniture and you don't know how much I regret it, on top of that I paid for the extended warranty, like $300 which is worhtless, they are not willing to honor it and the so called "leather" is ripping off, the "wood" on the bed, the night tables is peeling, the chairs in the leaving room are so loose, they dance. It is just the most horrible furniture I've ever seen, it makes my house look so tacky, I feel I bought this furniture at the flea market.

Please save yourself and wallet. They are liars and have no integrity. Sad.  Ashley must advertise for employees on the Craig's list "hey I'm a freaking liar site" and I can't get a job anywhere freaking else where, like, honesty is expected and respected instead of discouraged! Since they are all people w NO integrity......they r all the same.....dishonest people w no integrity. Hope they like fire since that's how they'll spend eternity! Don't buy anything from Ashley. They are accomplished liars

My so-called "real leather" couch  has peeled, warranty would not cover the problem. My couch was right at 4 years old when I noticed the peeling. I've never known leather to peel like this.  I feel my couch is not real leather, even though the salesman told us it was. This is unbelievable! I called the store in mobile, alabama and was told to call the customer service number, never heard from them. I've had couches that held up against children and dogs! My children are grown and gone. When I look at my couch, I get sick over it. What do you do? I paid good money for this living room suit and expected it to last a good bit longer.

In 2009 I bought a "Leather" sectional.  There is only 2 persons in our household.  The so called leather furniture is cracking and peeling. IS NOT LEATHER!. I also bought the extended guaranty, and when I called their insurance company I was told that Ashley is very much aware that they do not cover cracking and peeling.  Leather is not supposed to peel.. IT IS PLASTIC and they are misrepresenting their product and selling additional coverage knowing that there is no coverage.  When I called the insurance company I was not even registered as buying the extra coverage. I'm an adjuster and when you buy coverage there is always a policy number.  I was informed that they will not open a claim unless you report damages within the period you bought it for.  They are pocketing the money!  These issues are total misrepresentation and the sad thing is that nothing has been done about it as we are not proceeding with legal action.  People are still purchasing the so called "Leather" furniture.    I went to see my attorney and was informed that unless there is class suit there is nothing that I can do.. so they will proceed and sell plastic for leather and coverage that is not covered!.

I'll get in on this. We have a 6 pc master bed room set, 2 years old, that the finish is peeling off of to reveal plaster underneath the painted surface.  $5000.00 down the drain!
