Complaint

I recently received a phone call from 1-888-279-9221 and also 1-877-855-4547 that told me I had won a $1000 online shopping spree. All I had to do was answer a few questions; little did I know the questions were about my bank account information. Beware, everyone, if you get a phone call from this number(s). It is a scam. After doing some research on the company, I discovered that they use your bank account information to rob you. The report I read was written by a woman who had the same experience with this company. She was told that she would receive magazines in the mail. She received no magazines but money was still withdrawn from her account.

For those that get a phone call from this number, DO NOT answer.

I'm also going through the same thing just like you guys.
I'm not a U.S citizen and I am a student studying in university.I will finish my study and go back to my country in December(and will not come back for more than several years).
I am so worried that what if I can't go back to United States because of all this.
The company is keep calling me and sending me letters and magazines..
And they send me the final notice and said that third party will collect
    money.
Is it okay to just ignore them and go back to my country?
I reported it to the police but they said there's nothing they can do about it. I guess it's because I don't have a social security number and
    and I'm not a citizen.
    Help me please..

I was scrolling on the Internet and saw an ad for a $1000 online shopping, so i decided to do it and then they tell me i had to pay for the shipping from the 1000 and it was a gift card which I will receive, but the store did not have nothing that really you can say I will start using this card. Then they came with a story of some magazines. I thought that this gift card was because it was a promotion, but it was with the condition of magazines that I really did not want. So, i decided to do it and they told me i would be charged $24.95 every month for 24 months. I started to receive the magazines and that was all fine and good, but then I one day they contacted me and said that I have been paying excellent I have win a weekend for a resort, which never happen.  After all this someone still my identity and I had to change my account because this person still my money and it was not one person, they were buying stuff at my name in different stores. I was very clear that I wished my magazine in Spanish, but all the time they send me whatever they wanted.  After all this somebody still my identity and I have to change my account and report this issue to Experian, Trans Union and Equifax to add a alert. Now I am receiving calls from them because I changed my account and they want to continue to play games with story.  I decided not to call them because they do a lot of promises and it is a feck.  So, my friends, be very careful at the time you submit your credit card through the Internet. These people outside knows how to still your identity and believe me it is a mearndream.  You will need to proof who you are, go to the police station and submit proof of all your personal records.  By the way, the bank do not change you the account until, you go to the police station to open a case, otherwise these bad person will continue stilling your money and you paying over draft which in my case was $32.00 dollars for every overdraft that enter, plus $5.00 day daily until you cover the overdraft.  AGAIN FRIENDS DO NOT TRUST PEOPLE THAT OFFER YOU SOMETHING FREE THROUGH THE INTERNET BECAUSE BEHAID THIS THEY HAVE SOMETHING AND NOTHING IS FREE....

This is amazing. I am in your shoes right now and I am definitely filing a complaint in addition to being in the process of having my bank information changed. I cursed that dude out so bad today.
