I got a call from telephone 603 214 3523 offering work from home processing 3d party mortgages for the sum of $69.00 plus $10.00 postgage.  I didn't get a chance to check the internet to confirm this was a scam; I asked where they got my name and they said I requested information on internet to work from home.  I had requested information about government grants to study, buy a home or establish a business and was guided to Grant Search Guide as the only valid site for this type of information.  GMI got my telephone number from Grant Search Guide and now I am trying to stop the $79 payment by cancelling the order and I can't reach a live person at the 603 number so I went on the internet and got a 971 285 3130 and called to cancel my order but was not able to get a live person and left a message.  Anyone, can you tell me if you get your money back once you realize this is a scamming game from another valid enterprise in the US??  concerned.

I want to report the offer to work from home from 603 214 3523 as a business scam by GMI Enterprise, LLC or GMI Mortgage Enterprise, LLC, so that no one else is scammed like me.  I paid $79.00 for the package and now I am trying to get my money back!!!

If it is a scam, what makes you think they will "cancel" your order, whatever they tell you?

For that matter, once they have your bank account information, why should they stop at only $79.00?

Close your account to prevent further charges.

Next time, don't go looking for "free money".  It is just a lure to get YOUR money.

    Doubting David
    Hello,

I too was contacted by this firm but opted to check it out first.  They refused to send me any literature via US Postal service so that I could check into it.  Thank you for posting this complaint, so that I won't fall into the same scam.

Isn't there someway we can turn these people in to the law?  My mother and father have fallen victims to this scam stuff for years now.  Dad is 90 and Mom is 87.  It just makes me furious.

Received unsoliciated recorded call from this number. I never contacted anyone about any jobs. I reported to no call list. Today a random person called me asking if they had reached Eco Action! It appears they are spoofing their phone number back to numbers they have already called. Now I am really pissed.

Haa ha, I was contacted today and asked like a million questions to some poor rep who is trying to make a few bucks and hour.  I've been scammed before and learned my lesson.  The only thing I've made money on was FFI.  visit my site and learn how you can save on gas and also have an opportunity to make money.  go to http://www.xtrampgcaps.myffi.biz

I received a call from them as well.  I deceided to check them out first before giving them my card #.  They gave me a call back # of 971-285-3130. I ask where they were located.  The call said Portland Oregon.  I ask how long GMI had been in business the caller said about 3-5 years. I also asked how he liked working for them.  The caller then informed me that he didn't work for GMI and the he work for an answering service center.  Something just didn't add up so I got on line and found this site.  I want to thank you for speaking out and am sorry that you got taken.

I got a phone call at at 503 #, but my husband answered. he asked plenty of questions and paid the $79 for the packet. the packet was to be delivered to me 10 - 13 days after ordering... it took 25 days! I know i may be in Hawaii, but damn! so it finally got here and when i called after reading it, thinking its legit, i wanted to ask more questions. So i called them, and they said "Oh, you're actually suppose to talk to this person about this, i have no clue"... im like "you work for these damn people and you dont know [***] about the company? You have to know something!" all she could say was "i'm sorry ma'am. But i cant help you, i'm going to have to take down your number and name and have someone get back to you"... its been 3 days, NOBODY CALLED! so imma go ahead and say THIS IS A SCAM!

i mean an extra $26 for the "borrowers list" ? are you kidding. I JUST PAID $79!

So if you get a phone call from this # 1-503-946-5949. HANG UP...

I just received my package in the mail for GMI Enterprises, I really did not think this was a scam, but when I read the information and found out that I had to contact HUD/FHA for listings of these peoples names, the site states you have to pay over 5,000.00 for the listing all 50 states.  This indeed is a SCAM, how in the hell am i going to pay this kind of money if i'm trying to make money.  OMG, I am going to try to get my money back.  I'll let you know if this happens which i doubt.

Thank the Lord for this information.  I almost fell for it because I just lost my job.  The caller said they had a website and fortunately I found this one.

I just got a call and got the same info. GMI Enterprise out of portland, OR with the same # as most of you for company info 971-285-3130, but the call came in from 818-870-8193. I haven't called any of them back to find out if legitimate or not. I got to this site instead. Thanks for the help in deciding NOT TO INVEST in this SCAM. I may need financial aid but not that way.

(2 Timothy 3:1-5) But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.
