I got a call from telephone 603 214 3523 offering work from home processing 3d party mortgages for the sum of $69.00 plus $10.00 postgage.  I didn't get a chance to check the internet to confirm this was a scam; I asked where they got my name and they said I requested information on internet to work from home.  I had requested information about government grants to study, buy a home or establish a business and was guided to Grant Search Guide as the only valid site for this type of information.  GMI got my telephone number from Grant Search Guide and now I am trying to stop the $79 payment by cancelling the order and I can't reach a live person at the 603 number so I went on the internet and got a 971 285 3130 and called to cancel my order but was not able to get a live person and left a message.  Anyone, can you tell me if you get your money back once you realize this is a scamming game from another valid enterprise in the US??  concerned.

My boyfriend bought this package from GMI a couple of years ago as a way to make extra money from home.  He read it and decided it wasn't for him, but maybe someone else would like to use it...etc.  We came across it a couple of weeks ago and although I agree the information isn't worth the money spent, they do break it down into simple terms.
I wouldn't call it a scam, but I haven't tried to get a refund on the package, or tried to use customer service.  I do agree that they fail to tell you is that you have to "purchase" these lists of borrower names.  However, if you take the time to look, you can pick a couple of states and spend fifty bucks for the names...or you can use simple internet search methods and find these names online for free.
It's common sense.  If you're asked to spend money for information on how to make money you can almost bet you're going to have to spend more than 70 or 80 bucks before it's all over with.

Microsoft Corporation makes owning a computer too expensive for the average Jane     or Joe! Every day it's the same old thing! You can't even access your e-mail or pull something up on the web, because access is denied unless your order one of their gadgets to make your computer function better, at least for a little while, untill the coputer administration says it's time to collect again off them poor people!

I have been doing this work for awhile however,I was spending more for supplies (paper, envelopes, stamps, P.O. Box rental, ink jets, long distance phone calls, etc.) Then I was making. Then I found out the truth. It wasn't that people were dishonest and not paying me.I read the back one of my Claimants applications from Washington, D/C. c/o HUD. "You don't need to pay another person to assist you in collecting your premium refund or distributive share payment. If you need help call (800)--- ---- or e-mail." So don't blame anyone but the government-that's why people who have tried to recaive there refund have given up.

Well, I just sent off for my manual......for $3.91. They told me that the monthly fee was $29.99 so I think I'll get my manual, check out the trial membership and stick it out for a while :-) thing is its about a 45 day turn-around when the trial is only 15 days......my belief is that if you diligently stick to following up with the clients of the letters sent out somehow then how terrible could it be.  Say you send out 25 letters a day and spend time following up then the benefit could be quite lucrative.  And that's where the patience comes in -  oh well we'll just have to see - keep you posted!!!

I received the 3.91 package the other day and I also agreed to the 15 day free trial of the 39.95 intro offer on the membership. After reading all of the reviews I think that I will call and cancel the offer before the 15 day trial ends. I got the pink slip in the mail about this business that I had not heard of before, sounds like good deal, but I amd tired of the scams. Thanks everyone for the reviews.

While Smart Tools is legal, the program is not strong enough to make the figures they are suggesting you can make.  I only broke even after a full year of trying.  Time to move to greener pastures!
