Hi I have the same experience with everyone here so don't need to write my personal experience.  I was just wondering if anyone knows how to go about to get a refund back from the portion that I've already paid to Consumer Direct Warranty services and / or if any outstanding class action lawsuits.

Please email at DChu1202@aol.com

good Luck. I bought 2 policy's at the same time, canceled one the very next day and to this day will not refund my initial $495. I  have been lied to given broken promises for a refund...numerous times.  My other policy i kept until i was denied any coverage  for transmission work... needless to say i stopped making payments to MEPCO. These people are all scam artists...

I have also had the experience with CDWS, I paid off over $2000 for my warranty in July of 2010 and just recently tried to use it for replacement of my fuel pump and was denied due to cancelled agreement. When trying to contact someone-anyone to get explanation of this response I only got a voice mail service which was already full and no message could be left and faxed the number provided which had no response. As a single mother of four kids I worked hard to keep and pay off this warranty just to find out it was [***].......If any one knows anything about what can be done legally to get our money back and inform others of this scam please contact me at e_cline77@yahoo.com. I did speak to a local attorney who informed me this was a class action lawsuit and that i should contact the attorney general......

It is a huge disappointment for me to learn that these companies, CDWS, MEPCO,etc. are all scam artistic of the worst kind.  Such a elaborate scheme they have woven together.  I wish I knew how to recovery over $2100 of hard earned money that I have given to them.

Prior to signing on with them in 2009, I checked BBB and they had been given an A+ rating...but last week when I finally needed to use the service and could not get in touch with anyone, checked BBB again and learned that they now have a F rating.  So many unpaid claims, over 300 and numerous complaints. I will certainly be agreeable to a class action lawsuit.  I believe that these people are still operating and doing business as usual and really need to be STOPPED.  I extend to pursue this situation and can be contacted at queen_viola.1950@yahoo.com.

I'm in please email me at brband5@gmail.com
I think we should also go after MEPCO.  I talked to two different people within 10 minutes and both gave info they had.  The 1st gave a fax which was not in service so I called right back and the 2nd gave a web site which is not up.  I asked the second person if according to the info he saw if they were out of business and he said they had not contacted them to let them know.  Now months after complaints started coming in they are still guiding people to a bogus company.

Yes I was also one of the gullible ones. I have not had a claim, but am selling my truck and I wanted to transfer the warranty to the buyer but now I have discovered that this outfit is a bunch of crooks I am glad that I did not tell my buyer that I had a warranty on the truck. I think I paid 1800. for it on 02/17/2009. If anyone learns of a class action against these jokers please email me @ weimerlover@cox.net Thanks

    Hi,
I have a little note for all you guys that got screwed by CDWS's [***]. I think we all need to hire one lawyer to go after this company. We have a better chance going after them by creating a comprehensive lawsuit. If any body interested in that kinda solution please send me a line to munalab@yahoo.com and we'll go from there. My lawyer told me that this company is taking all of us to the cleaners by playing with wording the insurance policy. Oh by the way, if all of you are from the same town or state it is even better to drag them to your state and not going to Nevada where they are located. We need one huge lawsuit against them to win our money back.
    thanks

We also have been ripped off by Consumers Direct Warranty Services.  We will be interested in joining any lawsuit.  Also we would like any info as to location of this business besides consumers direct warranty services @ PO Box 993520 in Reddings, Ca 96099.  Also call Ramon the manager @ mepco, their 3rd party billing company and complain to him.  They are all in cahoots and if everyone complains it will at least be a big irration.  800-397-6767  x 2231.  ravanerio@roadrunner.com

I have also been ripped of by CDWS for $3193. I have a stack of car repair bills for a total of over $4000+ that I believe CDWS should have repaired. Even the auto repair people said they were shocked when they were not able to get any personal response from them, let alone covering the repair costs. If there is anyone out there that knows of any lawsuit taking place, please contact me ASAP lance@themckayteam.com
