Hi I have the same experience with everyone here so don't need to write my personal experience.  I was just wondering if anyone knows how to go about to get a refund back from the portion that I've already paid to Consumer Direct Warranty services and / or if any outstanding class action lawsuits.

Please email at DChu1202@aol.com

I have spoke to many people that were taken by this company and no one really had any answers. So I spoke with a lawyer who advised me to report it to the attorney generals office. File a complaint with them the company is not allowed to sell any more policies they have a cease and assist order against them but from my under standing they do have a class action law suit against them. If any one has any more info to share as far as to what can be done to get our money back plz email me at thamiltonapya@yahoo.com. thanks

Call this number in the Nevada Attorney General's Office and ask to be connected with the Constituent's Office to file a complaint against the above "business/address".  (702) 486-3420.  This is the main number.

    For Dad's Estate
My father purchased a warranty for his Ford Ranger through CDWS...the warranty is called ironically "Great Choice"...in September 2008.  His paperwork identifies the seller as First Nationwide Warranty Inc at 8358 W. Oakland Park Blvd, Ste 2 in Sunrise FL, 33351 (Phone 1-877-749-1998).  I called CDWS and got a voicemail directing me to an email address and website.  I called the seller and got a voicemail for a Residential Community.  Called the billing company, Mepco and got a voicemail run-around.  Obviously, my father fell for the scam.  I read in the CDWS literature that this warranty is transferrable, but only if the Administrator is notified in writing and approved prior to the transfer.  He passed away in April without warning, and although I haven't talked with anyone associated with this warranty, I suspect the "administrator" will void it because we didn't notify him/them that my father was going to die. I want to clear my dad's estate and pay his outstanding bills, I'm guessing this CDWS thing isn't going to help.

I've read several cries to 'start a class-action suit'.  Has anyone started the process or contacted an attorney?  If so I'm game to join.  I'm at Felion_2@comcast.net.

Well, I guess that I am not the only one who has been ripped off for 2K+ by CDWS.  They have made it to where you cannot contact them to speak of any claim, no phone numbers, only voice mail telling you to go to the web site.  Once you get to the web site, your only option is claims and you have to be the auto repair shop.  I looked at the questions they ask and they are very specific to ask the repair shop for questions that will allow them to deny any claim sent it.  I am definitely interested in a class-action against these rip-off artist.  My email address is nbrinkley@cox.net

I just called company after company chasing after a solution to get my 'extended warranty' that isnt being honored and I found Car Safe LLC to be outstanding in what they are trying to offer consumers that have been ripped off by these fraudulent companies.  The sales rep, James, explained to me the owner of Car Safe LLC understands what is happening and is trying to do all he can to help even though it literally isnt their company's problem.  Their number is 866-661-2565.  It really was surprising that the customer service rep made the comment she made when she first pulled up my policy from Consumer Direct Warranty Services.  BE FORE WARNED!!!!  NEVER USE THAT COMPANY TO EXTEND YOUR VEHICLES WARRANTY!!!!  I hope this information will help anyone as it sure gave me a little piece of mind knowing that someone is trying to help when the original company wouldnt.  Even Car Safe CANNOT get a hold of anyone from the CDWS company when they tried to call them.

I too was denied on my claim because the hole in my fuel pump was not metal and technically not part of the fuel pump. With and newborn a two and four year old just starting school, this is just too much. Unbelievable that this company is still doing business if there is a law suit pending please notify me. $546.00 in repairs after I paid them over $1500.00. I have no idea where its going to come from, and they dont do refunds.

I also paid CDWS 1200 and was denied coverage due to all types of lies they could think of from tires being too large to no service records, I contacted the BBB and they were mediating the situation, when after 6 months CDWS pulled out of the scheduled arbitration, I would to join a class action lawsuit, my email is Tanbennett@ymail.com
