Hi I have the same experience with everyone here so don't need to write my personal experience.  I was just wondering if anyone knows how to go about to get a refund back from the portion that I've already paid to Consumer Direct Warranty services and / or if any outstanding class action lawsuits.

Please email at DChu1202@aol.com

I would like to join in a class action suit with all of you.  I too, bought the extended warranty back in 2009 forking out $2000.  I have not use this extended warranty yet and now very concerned about this.  I checked out their website and all you can access is for claims and cannot get any other information.  As all of you have indicated they are con artist and we all deserve to get our money back.  Please include me on the lawsuit.  Contact me at gailmiki@excite.com

I bought a warranty throught Fidelity Automotive Solutions, so I thought. Only to find out afterwards that it was really through a third party which was Consumer Direct Warranty Services. I paid $2775.00 for the Great Choice package and now Im unable to get a claim started. A couple months back I was able to contact a representative at the company and now the only communication is through email, which spits back a automated response to every email, regardless of the issue.  I would be interested in a class action lawsuit but Im not sure how to go about it.  Please email me at c_hensley84@yahoo.com if anyone has any information.

I bought the "Great Choice" warranty from CDWS through AA Auto Warrantee in 2008 and tried to use if twice before when they answered the claims line, both times without success due to "fine print" on what is covered.  I tried again yesterday for a water pump which is clearly stated is covered.  Claims number not working.  Called AA Auto Warrantee and shuffled off to customer service to James Fortino (888) 222-4445, ext 175 and left a voicemail and email to jfortino@aaautoprotection.com to no avail.  No looking at all these complaints and interested in a class action lawsuit.  Better yet I might visit their Las Vegas office with my friends Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson.  Call of email me if anything new is happening Mike Caretto (951) 506-1150, mlcaretto@verizon.net

When they pulled out of arbitration, did they pay your claim?  I'm about to file for mediation / arbitration against them.  Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

We paid $1,999.00 to Mepco who are out of ILL.   I called them today and told them that" Consumer Direct Warrenty" was out of Business!!, so where is our money? I told them that we paid it to you and someone is responsible!! There phone number at Mepco is 1-800-397-6767.   They said they were just the ones who received our payments on the warrenty that Consumer Direct was responsible for as far as fixing our truck. I contacted our attorney and she told me to send a complaint to the attorney gereral in my area which I did, and I will also put one in with the BBB. You all do the same. Keep checking the internet by typing in class action lawsuit againt Mepco or consumer Direct Warrenty Services to see if there is one. For now we all basically got ripped off by greedy, evil people. They stole thousands of dollars from the public. I don't see how Mepco is not responsible for this!

Because Mepco is just a billing company, they are not a claims company or a warranty company. They are highly recommended and have never done anything wrong as far as your claims are concerned. Take it out on CDWS not the billing company who has nothing to do with it. You would be surprised at how many company's use Mepco. Take it out on the correct compnay not the one that got roped in just like all of you who took out coverage with CDWS.

Well Hello!  First time I need to use the waranty and have been unable to contact anyone at the phone number or email addresses provided.  So I ended up here.  Everything I read is telling me the Consumer Direct Warranty Services has gone out of business.  I am in Florida with no AC in my vehicle at the moment.  Add my name to the list of supporters for legal action against this company.
I can be contacted at carussel8@att.net.
